Pick-up instructions
From baggage collection terminal 2 & 3 to the Sixt branch: You will receive your rental car from Sixt. Once you have collected your luggage, follow the signs for Rent a Car. You will find us in Arrival, level 0, between luggage belts 28-31, where Sixt desk is located. Our staff will be happy to attend you.
Drop-off instructions
Follow the directions for Aeropuerto/San Julian and then the signs for "Car Rental Return" towards parking P2, level -1. Once inside the parking building turn left and find the ramp descending to level -1. Just after the ramp you will see the Sixt return office in front of you. Please park the car in Sixt car return area and handle the key to an uniformed employee (opening hours 06:00 to 00:00 pm). Out of hours, leave the key inside the safe box.

Pros: Especially the drop-off went super smoothly and the agent which recieved my was very kind to park the car himself.

Cons: As mentioned, at pick-off I did not recieve a car in the category I booked, even though I asked three times, I was forced to do an upgrade and take a bigger car (which I did not want).

Pros: Super easy to book, pick up and drop.

Cons: The child booster seat is almost as expensive as renting the car, reaching nearly 50% of the rental cost. It seems excessive; ideally, it should either be free or capped at 10%. Now, I'm waiting to see if my security deposit will be refunded since the car sustained no damage.

Pros: Agent Scared me about car theft, scratching, damaging by any others and at the time of returning I have to fix the any issues or pay for any damages then leave for flight. so do must pay for insurance and deposit because Discover cars.com insurance is not covering.

Cons: When you need to upgrade the car, either from manual to automatic or add the insurance of Sixt, the Discover cars' voucher will be worth nothing. You pay the Sixt original price in addition to what you paid Discover cars!!! The car I got had issues with the motor oil. Cost me 45 Euro. Same warning lights came on the next evening. I had to drive to the nearest Sixt which was 30 min away to change the car. They charged me the fuel and the prime location fee(that I already paid with Discover cars)

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 2100 km per rental, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 1500.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following mandatory surcharge(s) will be applied: Premium Location surcharge.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Switzerland, United Kingdom, EU.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy



If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, Diners, JCB, Discover, Airplus, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
