Cons: Centauro's credit card system was declining US credit cards for the deposit required when not purchasing their insurance. The rental fees charge went through just fine. According to the customer service rep, this problem had been going on for a week. We were forced to purchase €300 of unneeded and unwanted insurance in order to pick up the car because their system wouldn't charge our deposit. The insurance charge of €300 also went through quickly. It feels like a scam.

Pros: Rental car was great except at pick up. The rental car was practically new with all the features I needed. And performed perfectly during the 3 week rental. Pickup and drop off was flawless and timely.

Cons: The rental agreement that started in Malaga, Spain was poor. Centauro will not accept credit cards that have Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance for the $1500 Euro collision deposit. If you think you’re going to use your credit card to waive the insurance you are wrong. Also the Centauro after charging my Two credit cards repeatedly and then refunding them because the deposit would not go through double charged me for the rental. Onnce on one card the on another card. In dispute.

Then it was one of the agents that gave me a car which was for another customer, and i was just lucky that in that car android auto didn't worked, and because of this they discovered that it was not my car, cause i went complaining.

Cons: The fuel policy was not full to full as I had agreed. The car condition was awful, it was full of scratches. The personnel was trying to charge me everyway possible, as it had not filed all the damages of the car from before. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Fortunately, I had the picture of the damage while pick up. Before I could show, she charged the cost for the damage on my card. I am currently in contact with the support team to get that charge waived off. I will not recommend Centauro.

Pros: Overall, my rental was good value and the car itself was exactly what I needed. I also purchased the top-tier insurance package that covers everything, which gave me peace of mind throughout the trip.

Cons: The only downside to the experience was the interaction at the rental desk. Despite clearly having full insurance already, the staff member kept pushing me to buy an additional policy that would have cost around €120—more than the actual rental plus the premium insurance I had already purchased. It felt as though she was trying to make me doubt my existing coverage, even though she knew it was comprehensive. Apart from that, the rental itself was smooth and hassle-free.

Instead of helping resolve the situation they were giving answers "we are still working" for a week! Cons: Hard sell of insurance. Left me uncomfortable and worried about my deposit. Even though I said no to the insurance I was told repeatedly that any scratch would impact my deposit.

Cons: Long waiting time for the shuttle bus at the airport.

Pros: Efficiency also had to extend the duration of rental and a was unsure how to do it online so went to the car rental building and was efficiently helped by Alvaro who was very good at his job

Pros: The over all price for the basic rental and the shuttle service to/from the airport.

Cons: The customer representative whom I dealt with was EXTREMELY aggressive in “up selling” the additional insurance coverage. To the point of resorting to scare tactics on unsuspecting customers.

Pros: We got the car we asked for.

Cons: Very slow service picking up the car but we had been warned.

Pros: The dropping off was very easy, was probably because of the late flight though.

Cons: The service picking up, the lady was quite rude, we needed a baby seat and booster chair but no one could get us one so we had to go buy a booster and my mother ended holding the baby in the back the whole time which is not ideal. Seemed very stressful and under staffed. Would not use again due to this reason.

Cons: Unacceptable time spent collecting the car. Depot really difficult to find when returning the car, sat nav couldn't find the location.

Cons: Long distance to walk to find bus, and also signs was really bad. So took a while before we found the bus. Bad outdoor light, so not easy to see scratches on car.

Cons: The desk clerk was rude and unhelpful, and ultimately i was charger for damage that I cannot ascertain when it happened? it certainly did not hit anything, it could have been there before i picked up the car.

Cons: The man at the end inspecting the car was trying to find a way to deduct money from our deposit, he pointed out some tiny scratches (which I didn't do!) and actually said the words "it is so difficult trying to get them to show up on my phone" he did everything he could to try and create some reason to deduct money from us, not good at all!!!

Cons: Only 2 agents available to check in cars on return. Only 1 man to point out additional scratches to on pick up

Pros: I didn’t - awful collection service, worst ever experienced

Cons: Slow, inefficient, no attention to customers waiting. Had to spend double the original cost of hire to upgrade to be able to use fast track queue and avoid similar delays when returning the vehicle. Will not be using Centauro in future.

Pros: They didn't force extra insurance onto us, although mentioned it. They were efficient and friendly. Good value too!

Cons: I had to leave card details for any damage. I could only leave details from a VISA or Mastercard credit card, which I don't have. The only way I could keep my booking was to buy their own insurance which cost me an extra £120!

Pros: Service and patience

Pros: Clear instructions on pick up and good minibus service from airport.

Cons: The booking process was simple once at the counter, but the office appeared to operate a numbered ticketing system to service clients in turn. However, having spent two minutes registering for a ticket, one person walked straight up to the counted and was served. The ticketing system was totally ignored by the staff - annoying, and irritating after a three hour flight. Get rid of it.

Pros: Very friendly and not pushy trying to sell add ons

Cons: The time waitmug wa not good, the fact I could not use my Amex which I reserved the car under and had to buy insurance under a different card, was not good. I still have not received my deposit back
