ECH at Pisa Airport

Pros: Very smooth service. No hassle or pressure. The guy dealing with the car collect and drop off was amazing. So helpful and polite. The car was practically brand new (1500kms) so was immaculate.

Cons: No comment. All was very good and exceeded expectations.

Pros: Price was ok.

Cons: Pick up took 1hr. Not in terminal. Walking 500m with young child and luggage in hot sun.

Cons: Operatives appear to be doing their job i.e contact you when delayed to ask how long until you collect the car then ignore what is said leave notes to ring telephone numbers that are not answered and keep you waiting. Drop off operative was rude, dismissive and when I pointed out that I could not wait all day for attention as I had a train to catch and offered to use the key drop box instead demanded the keys and sent me a delayed bill for a hardly visibile dot on the bumper!!!

Pros: Agent who checked me in was lovely and friendly

Cons: I felt like the agents responsible for checking the car out and in are trying to find ways to get money out of you. In 25 years of hiring cars in 30 countries, I've never had a company check UNDER the wheel rim for damage when you return but not when taking the car. They also said that unlike other companies you get charged for ANY damage, other companies allow dings as wide as a 10p piece with no paint removed, and smaller with paint chipped. also never had anyone inspect and charge for rims

Pros: They provided an easy and effective service for what you pay for. When asked, they provided e.i. Window water. They are thorough so be so also. Got a smaller car than originally ordered.

Cons: I was expecting a digital record and I didn’t get one, after 15 days the hold on my card is still there although was told I was all clear. I had to argue with the initial agent about my insurance because they wanted to hold more on my card than needed.

Pros: I never got the service I paid for. Plabe was delayed and ECH just decided to cancel the reservation and keep my money, only offering a way more expensive option as an alternative.

Cons: Horrible company. Do not rent.

Cons: Paperwork for collection took a long time. The car was the most damaged in terms of scratches etc I have hired in a long time. I was not reassured about my complaint about the oil light which caused me stress. One should not need to check oil on a 11 day car hire.

Pros: The vehicle was new, clean and had the option for Apple play that was very useful for the maps.

Cons: The renter ECH were very slow and antiquated. All paper system, they need a computerised system to preload driver information and ID which would speed up the process. The hire agreement comes with 4 full pages of small print, very small text and no time to read it. The most frustrating point is they would not serve you until the extract time you booked the car from, not a minute earlier.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and efficient but needed another person behind the desk but the person that was alone did a excellent job, to make sure the que went down quickly.

Pros: Nice girls, beautiful eyes, and probably good souls. They seemed sincerely sorry for the loss of my money and did their best to make me swallow it. The car was a almost new Toyota Aygo in perfect order.

Cons: The cost for a debit card bringing the total from an expected 7EUR/day to 33EUR/day with the extra pleasure of added 25EUR/day instead of specified (in small letters 20EUR/day).

Pros: Friendly staff, spoke very good English. It was a quick process to pick up and hand back in. The car was as new. We arrived a bit early and they did everything they could to get us on our way as soon as possible. Deposit was refunded within 3 days.
