ECH at Pisa Airport

Pros: amazing contact with the staff on pick up as my plane was delayed and there was a real risk i would arrive after the office closed. i was however given the mobile number of the assistant who was texting me whilst on and off the plane telling me it was all ok. and that she would work late if required. she was BRILLIANT!

Cons: i got involved in staff training on dropping my car off. i was anxious about the flight. the staff should have accepted my anxiety& supervised with the next customer who was more relaxed than i was with regards time. PLUS the car i was given had been involved in a significant rear shunt with superficial damage. on returning the car there was a suggestion that some of that damage was my fault. i would never have taken the car had i known it had been involved in such a major accident.

Pros: Super helpful and transparent about agreed condition at pick up. Took their time at this important stage.

Cons: On return advised no issues accepting car dusty due to location of our villa on dusty country track. Subsequently charged for external valet which is in contract but not advised this would be the case as said no issues with car return and just need to note the dust as part of return process.

Pros: Quick and easy. The lady at the collection dest was excellent and very patient!

Cons: No issues.

Pros: Straightforward, no hassle

Pros: Very smooth service. No hassle or pressure. The guy dealing with the car collect and drop off was amazing. So helpful and polite. The car was practically brand new (1500kms) so was immaculate.

Cons: No comment. All was very good and exceeded expectations.

Pros: Price was ok.

Cons: Pick up took 1hr. Not in terminal. Walking 500m with young child and luggage in hot sun.

Pros: Genuine

Cons: No issue

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Operatives appear to be doing their job i.e contact you when delayed to ask how long until you collect the car then ignore what is said leave notes to ring telephone numbers that are not answered and keep you waiting. Drop off operative was rude, dismissive and when I pointed out that I could not wait all day for attention as I had a train to catch and offered to use the key drop box instead demanded the keys and sent me a delayed bill for a hardly visibile dot on the bumper!!!

Pros: Agent who checked me in was lovely and friendly

Cons: I felt like the agents responsible for checking the car out and in are trying to find ways to get money out of you. In 25 years of hiring cars in 30 countries, I've never had a company check UNDER the wheel rim for damage when you return but not when taking the car. They also said that unlike other companies you get charged for ANY damage, other companies allow dings as wide as a 10p piece with no paint removed, and smaller with paint chipped. also never had anyone inspect and charge for rims

Cons: in car dirty long wait time car have no washer water

Pros: They provided an easy and effective service for what you pay for. When asked, they provided e.i. Window water. They are thorough so be so also. Got a smaller car than originally ordered.

Cons: I was expecting a digital record and I didn’t get one, after 15 days the hold on my card is still there although was told I was all clear. I had to argue with the initial agent about my insurance because they wanted to hold more on my card than needed.

Pros: I never got the service I paid for. Plabe was delayed and ECH just decided to cancel the reservation and keep my money, only offering a way more expensive option as an alternative.

Cons: Horrible company. Do not rent.

Pros: Very helpful staff on the desk, extremely patient when I locked myself out of my credit card!

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Cons: If the law requires vehicle to have a winter kit on board , why charging extra for it?

Pros: Professional service and details checked carefully.

Cons: Lot of pressure to book extra insurance and extras which I didn’t need.

Pros: Very quick. No heavy selling of additional insurance

Cons: As we headed it back early in morning, with no easy hire staff available it was difficult to be confident that they would accept that there was no damage to the car

Pros: Friendly staff, quick service, easy to use

Cons: No screenwash was the only downside

Pros: Honest and professional

Pros: Quick and efficient, no waiting

Cons: Nothing, all good thank you!

Pros: The personal contact at handover on collection & drop off.

Cons: Paperwork for collection took a long time. The car was the most damaged in terms of scratches etc I have hired in a long time. I was not reassured about my complaint about the oil light which caused me stress. One should not need to check oil on a 11 day car hire.

Pros: The vehicle was new, clean and had the option for Apple play that was very useful for the maps.

Cons: The renter ECH were very slow and antiquated. All paper system, they need a computerised system to preload driver information and ID which would speed up the process. The hire agreement comes with 4 full pages of small print, very small text and no time to read it. The most frustrating point is they would not serve you until the extract time you booked the car from, not a minute earlier.

Pros: Nothing - will never use again

Cons: Service was shocking - treated terribly by staff. Ripped off and tried to be ripped off again even when I’d paid twice.

Pros: Car was exactly what we requested, was in good condition and clean.

Cons: The front desk service was appalling, it took us 2 hours to pick up car. The desk staff were not helpful. The deposit we had to pay for booking on a debit card was still not returned after 10 days of returning the car. I had to email Easy Car Hire

Pros: car was excellent.

Cons: cost of being 2hrs. late

Pros: Staff were very friendly and efficient but needed another person behind the desk but the person that was alone did a excellent job, to make sure the que went down quickly.

Cons: Extra staff on the desk for picking up car’s.

Pros: Nice girls, beautiful eyes, and probably good souls. They seemed sincerely sorry for the loss of my money and did their best to make me swallow it. The car was a almost new Toyota Aygo in perfect order.

Cons: The cost for a debit card bringing the total from an expected 7EUR/day to 33EUR/day with the extra pleasure of added 25EUR/day instead of specified (in small letters 20EUR/day).

Pros: Simple and efficient, no quibbles .

Cons: No probkems

Cons: All good

Pros: Great customer service

Cons: Only that the car smelled of cigarette smoke.

Pros: Very good car

Cons: You deserve a big desk big sign

Pros: Swift and simple transaction through Discover Cars.com. paperwork provide was clear..make sure you read ALL of it. Very important advice within

Cons: Spotted a crack in the windscreen they had missed. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERY INCH OF TGE CAR BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY and MAKE SURE YHEY KNOW YOU HAVE CHECKED IT and HAVE TAKEN PHOTOS of each side and front and back. Makes it simple to return then...

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful at both pickup and drop off.

Cons: The misleading information provided about the location of the Easycarhire station. This may not have been Easycarhire’s fault, though.

Pros: Quick and friendly service

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Friendly and efficient.

Pros: Good price

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Extremely disappointed with the extra cost

Pros: nothing exceptional

Cons: difficult to find the desk as no signs at airport. when got to car windows had been left open and there had been thunderstorms so seats and carpets were wet! had been told no other cars available so had to go with what we were offered. very aggressive over additional insurance and dismissive of the extra full coverage we had purchased when making the booking saying that it was worthless

Pros: The car was as expected.

Cons: Hidden rental costs just for using a debit card, navigation didn’t work in the car and am still waiting on the return of my deposit after 5 days

Pros: Straightforward booking, collection & return Not always the case with other companies

Pros: Friendly staff, spoke very good English. It was a quick process to pick up and hand back in. The car was as new. We arrived a bit early and they did everything they could to get us on our way as soon as possible. Deposit was refunded within 3 days.

Cons: Nothing, all good.

Pros: Everything was easy and quick. And the staff weee friendly and helpful
