Drivalia at Palma de Mallorca Airport

Cons: Unfriendly staff! We handed the car in 3 min too early and we’re not told by staff, but received en email wi the an invoice shortly after of 20 euros. We would have expected them to tell us this up front. We would definitely have waited the few minutes returning the car.

Pros: that I could just take photos of the many scratches and dings without an elaborate process. I also liked that the agent, at drop off, made me feel comfortable that I wouldn’t receive a follow up charge.

Cons: Anxiety that I would be held responsible for the many scratches and dings.

Pros: Easy collect and drop off. Shuttle service was perfect and the drivers both ways were super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Great staff, people are very communicative. Very kind, renting a car with Drivalia is the pleasure. Staff will help and explain step by step in few languages.

Cons: Staff from Drivalia company helped me in every way. They calmly explained every step that I had to take. It was my first time renting a car but people working there are very helpful and full of life. If someone want to rent a car without any problems definitely should visit Drivalia.

Cons: We payed a lot more at drivalia.our flight was delayes so we came around 23 o clock and they charged us 40€ because they work only til 22 o clock.And then 200€ extra because i didnt have credit card ..

Pros: We've chosen a full coverage insurance package. On the 4th day the front windshield got cracked and after talking to an agent, they replaced the car immediately. I know that's why we paid for full coverage, but still, it was great feeling that they were very supportive and didn't argue for a single second.

Not a sensible option for a holiday as do not want to waste time hunting for charging points. Has to upgrade at considerable extra expense to get a suitable vehicle - cost more than twice the original rentals cost. Very poor mismatch between broker and rental company that needs to be fixed. Now hesitant to use Divealia again in case of similar experience in 3

Cons: We had a flat tire with no spare. After towing, tire replacement, taxi, it was 650 Euros! Maybe no spare is the new normal but it was a rude awakening and would have been nice to get some advice about this possibility beforehand.

Cons: The windscreen washer bottle was almost empty so we had to fill it up (which was not an issue) but felt it should have been checked before passing the car on.

Pros: They tried to sell me €115 insurance policy. The car was covered in dints, scrapes and chips. They wouldn’t come out and inspect the car with me. They wouldn’t lend us a pen to mark on the car plan where all the faults were. They were rude to my wife.

Cons: Not all the damage on the car was listed in advance causing delay when having to get the car re-inspected and the missed damage added to the contract. We were also not told about how and where to return the car after hours of operation. There should be clear instructions given to every customer should they need to bring the car back when the rental car office is closed.

Pros: The description of the shuttle bus pick up point was a little confusing, and we missed one bus as a result but the next was available in minutes. The trip to the depot was 5 minutes and just one junction down the motorway. Effectively as easy as on airport pickup.

Cons: The excess insurance charge us just too much, even by other Spanish car hire companies’ levels. The windscreen washer bottle was empty, which is a very basic fact which had not been dealt with. Cars get very dusty in Mallorca in late spring and summer.
