GoByCar at Palma de Mallorca Airport

Pros: No hassle, no arguing, no pressure sales. Upgrade to a bigger car reasonably priced.

Cons: Directions to pick-up area were confusing. The return ride to the airport would be better if it went to the Departures entrance.

Pros: Most of the available rental cars are modern and in good condition, and the fleet is relatively large. The vehicle pick-up process is handled by 8–9 agents simultaneously, making the process relatively quick. Returning the car is also fast, with virtually no waiting time. Several shuttle buses operate continuously between the airport and the rental office, which significantly speeds up the process.

Cons: They did not know the vehicle and gave us no instruction on how to use the vehicle especially the navigation which the car was equipped with (we asked, but no one was able to tell us at the rental location). Two days later, after struggling to drive around without navigation, we figured it out.

Pros: The staff was helpful during pick-up. The facilities were good, featuring an air-conditioned, clean, and well-proportioned reception area; the parking lot was well-organized and showed competence in service.

Cons: The staff member who received the vehicle was not very friendly and made me feel suspicious, even though in the end I was not charged any additional amount for damage to the car. The car, despite having low mileage, was very poorly maintained, with several scratches and dents on the exterior; severely worn windshield wipers; cheap floor mats; and negligence in the cleaning of the engine bay, which had various dry leaves that could cause a fire. I don't understand how it's possible to let a vehic

Pros: Easy process from start to finish

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very fast and professional service

Pros: La simplicité, le Service, la voiture était parfaite. Le top

Cons: Rien

Pros: The second person we spoke to clarified the complexity of the insurance situation so we could understand it instead of feeling pressured to purchase it. He was clear, grounded, understanding and ultimately very gracious. The car was wonderful, great on gas, fun to drive (Mini Cooper), clean and the drop off was easy.

Cons: The first person we spoke to we found rather defensive and aggressive when we were asking her about the insurance policy. There was a lot of pressure at first to get their insurance with little clarification and what felt like a lot of pressure given the vulnerability of our situation.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything and they should be investigated

Pros: Fast, cheap and good.

Cons: The online paycheck was not working.

Pros: Very slick

Cons: They said they couldnt change return time on contract

Pros: Proximity to airport and quick service

Cons: Everything was fine

Cons: Les loueurs de voitures en Espagne font les poches des clients.

Pros: Friendly and problem free

Pros: Cheap, professional, good car

Cons: scary detailed car inspection on drop off, long wait time on pick up, lots of questions to answer and docs to sign even after doing online check in, varying experiences with staff friendliness.

Pros: Everything was great and fast. Car was brand new.

Pros: I couldn't use my credit card for discovercars to hold the deposit of €900, but I could pay off the insurance plan. Unplanned in my holiday budgetting. I didn't have much of a choice. When the staff saw I was hesitant about the decision on the price of the insurance plan in relation to the type of car I had reserved initially, they extended the courtesy to give me an upgrade to a BMW x1 M series for the same price as the lesser car. The upgrade made my whole trip so incredibly more pleasant

Cons: Won't accept maestro for deposits. If you don't have a credit card with mastercard eg, you need to pay off the insurance

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: Nothing

Pros: car was good, pick up and drop off worked fine, though the place is not that easy to find.

Cons: The agent at the counter told me I had absolutely no insurance coverage contrary to what the voucher from Discover Cars stated and told me I would need to buy insurance from them if I wanted any coverage at all.

Pros: Gave the kind of car we wanted

Cons: Driver’s windscreen wiper obscured windscreen when used- needs replacing Rear window wiper also needed replacing Significant time on pickup to photograph every single body mark which was advised by agent German language only available on dashboard, with no instruction on changing it to English. This is potentially dangerous when attempting to use controls while vehicle in motion

Pros: Very efficient and helpful just need to check screen washer bottle as empty and the insurance paper you keep in view needs to clip to sun visor

Pros: Awful service. We have waited really long time to pick up car. The agent was rude when trying to sell me additional insurance. I did not want to buy but he was telling me i will have problems when dropping a car.

Cons: Wrong instructions to pick up car, wrong open hours when booking, rude agent, very long waiting time

Pros: ticketing system at the counter, and self-checking system online, petrol station for refill few meters from the office, very express shuttle

Cons: our flight was late, no pick-up option after 23:00, and our car (even thou paid) was not available in the morning anymore. Can´t say if that could be considered unfair, because it was not their mistake our flight was delayed, and we got an alternative solution, just not the kind we wanted (no automatic)

Pros: Very polite, new car

Cons: Office closure at 23:00; i had to come back the day after because of my flight beeing late; not their fault

Pros: le tarif est plus qu'abordable et le retour du véhicule se fait sans soucis.

Cons: L'odeur horrible de cigarette dans la voiture quand nous l'avons reçue

Pros: Great price and easy experience. Car was clean and new. Pick up and return were smooth. Highly recommend in Mallorca Merci soufian :)

Pros: Nothing

Cons: How about leaving myself and my son stranded for 7 hours at the airport!!!!

Pros: The drop off was very easy and uncomplicated

Cons: Pick up was slow and stressful

Pros: Lovely people

Cons: Car was not working at first which was dangerous, it was not checked before. We good a new one.

Cons: When picking up the car rhe agent kept bugging us about their insurance. When dropping off, another agent quickly found the smallest scratch and over charged for it. They charged 130 euros for a tiny scratch. We don’t know when it happened - if it even happened during the rental period - but the car came with rather large obvious scratches, so the amount of money felt rather ridiculous. We had discovercar’s insurance so it wasn’t a problem for us, but the whole deal wasn’t fun.

Pros: Very easy and good service

Pros: Didn’t try to screw you over like every other provider (used 7 different ones) Impeccable service

Cons: No issues

Pros: All the above, good customer service, clean car. Drop off and pick up speed.

Cons: Nothing, I must say that the excess deposit always sits at the back of your mind. But all car rentals are like this. Always do your homework before booking and always look round the car for any defects.

Pros: Good service - excellent car - value for money - night shift guy let me drop it at 6.15 and called me a cab as I had an early flight

Cons: Think could open earlier ?

Pros: It was very efficient, particularly returning the car.

Cons: It was all great.

Pros: Just amazing

Cons: The pick shuffle up is on the left hand side not the right hand side when you cross the road.

Pros: Quick and efficient

Cons: No recognition of Discovery Car premium insurance

Pros: Easy and fast check in and check out.

Cons: When we returned the car they tried to blame on us a scratch on the lower front bumper that was there when I picked the car but was not on the damage report. I took picture of that before leaving and when I showed it they said ok that's fine.

Pros: Car was ready on time.

Cons: Their customer service wasn’t answering the phone. It took 2 days to have my car fixed. It wouldn’t start.

Pros: The car was good

Pros: The staff

Cons: Initially we got a car that was smoked in, but again your staff changed it right away without letting us wait

Pros: Brand new car, was great

Pros: Very professional company. Excellent car and very good shuttle service

Cons: no complaints at all

Cons: Lack of response following the complaint about the first car condition

Pros: Reception staff very friendly, professional and efficient with my booking. Car was ready. Transfer to the airport was prompt and efficient too.

Cons: Nothing. They were excellent.

Cons: The people were rude. They tried to tell me there was a scratch on the car that was not there. I showed them pictures because there wasn’t even really a scratch on the car. It wouldn’t show up in the pictures so it was like a scam. Terrible never use that car rental place go by car. People are really rude. That worked there except for the drivers of the van to and from the airport. They were very nice.

Pros: Drop off was quick and easy.

Cons: They gave us a different type of car than we booked. We never received the email contract with photos of the vehicles prior condition that was promised.

Pros: Quick and professional

Cons: Shuttle signs are not clear upon arrival, you need to “find” the shuttle

Pros: Everything went so smoothly and easily, I could believe it. It took a total of 10 minutes from the moment we exited the airport until I had the car keys.

Pros: It was cheaper than others

Cons: There is no in terminal collection with GoByCar and make sure you take pictures because they tried to say we scratched the car

Pros: Everything was smooth, both with pickup (check-in online to speed things up) where I received a complimentary upgrade, to drop off, which took no more than 5 minutes and I could be on a shuttle bus to the airport in no time.

Cons: I couldn't fault anything.

Pros: A good quality vehicle, very clean inside. Very honest when identifying existing marks on vehicle.

Cons: A somewhat premium price compared to some agencies

Pros: Great quality car. Very easy drop off. Reliable

Cons: Hard to find the pick up spot as no clear signage you are in the right spot

Pros: Would not recommend this company to anyone was waiting for shuttle for hour and no one came. Was calling several times automatic answer machine.

Cons: Nothing worse company

Pros: Fast quick easy

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The person who greeted us for the pick-up was friendly, helpful and very patient. She gave us options and was clear in talking through each one.

Cons: The person who greeted us at the return insisted that a small scratch was our fault even though I am sure it didn't happen on our watch. His manager refused to act as an arbiter in the dispute, and they charged me 186.99 euros for a one-inch scratch at the bottom (almost underside) of the passenger door. I provided them with a (poor) photo that I believed showed the scratch already there when I picked up the car. The person disagreed, and I had to pay. Very short-sighted on customer care.

Pros: Very good service. Never felt like they were scammy. One minute inspection to get my full deposit back almost immediately and they held a shuttle for us as we were short to catch our flight

Cons: No bad experience at all

Pros: Convenience

Cons: Finding the shuttle at the Airport

Pros: Friendly, competent and easy to talk with.

Pros: I was deliberately written two scratches by the company that were originally there and billed. It's horrible.

Pros: Great service! Easy pick-up and drop off. Would definitely use again.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very friendly efficient service

Cons: Could probably be clearer where to pick up the shuttle bus when arriving by having a sign where the bus picks you up

Pros: Kvalitní vozy, operativní přístup zaměstnanců.

Cons: Neoznačené místo nástupu na letišti.

Pros: Lovely people and lovely clean and new car.

Pros: Everything! It's really easy to complain about "things" in life but these guys were awesome !

Pros: Everything was as advertised. And their rental prices were a fraction of their competitors.

Pros: Was easy to rent a car, could pay with my debit car (different conditions applies). Overall very happy, would rent again.

Pros: No messing about at airport. Shuttle was awaiting. Staff were efficient when picking up the car. No attempts to try to upgrade or increase insurance. Excellent service from all the staff. Thank you all.

Cons: Extremely efficient & courteous. No waiting at all. The car provided was very clean and nearly new… There were a few marks on the bodywork of the vehicle. However these were already listed on the contract and photos were sent to me via email. All done in an instant. Excellent service..

Pros: Superb car. Excellent service. Quick drop off and collection. Amazing price

Cons: Nothing

Cons: A bit unclear pick up points. I called the company several times but I couldn't get via the dial in options to someone who could direct me.

Pros: Very helpful staff and smooth operation of the service. Good choice of vehicles.

Cons: Credit; not debit; card information for French people could be even clearer, more insisting and more detailed.

Cons: We choice a insurance online that results invalid for you at the time of picking up the car. Please check your web-partner to avoid problems like this.

Pros: Very fast and good service.

Cons: They informed me that my full insurance will be refunded by you, but they will charge me first from my deposit. I wasn't aware if this during booking. Fortunately, everything was perfect and there was no need for pulling full insurance.

Pros: Great value

Cons: Finding pick up point was difficult, car had a fault/ issue and there was an expectation on me to return the car to the other side of the island.

Pros: Friendly staff at every level

Cons: Would be nice to have better idea of shuttle pick up location

Pros: freindly staff at the reception counter

Cons: I expect to have a fairly new car when I rent. The car was old and dirty, and generally didn't drive well.

Cons: The child car seat wasn't very safe and no one helped install it

Pros: Fast check in and check out

Cons: The car had a lot of scratches. It was all well documented but still a little worriesome.

Pros: Very quick and efficient drop off. Good condition car

Cons: Very hard to find where to collect shuttle. No signage to say you where in the right area

Pros: Flexible to help us when our flight was delayed. We could pick up the car the day after and we were able to book a second car when our other car rental agency couldn't keep our second car booked until the day after.

Cons: The second driver forgot her driver's license at our rental home and showing the pictures of it did not suffice to register her as a driver.

Pros: Attendance were really polite

Cons: Waiting time was very long for the amount of attendant that were there working at the moment

Pros: Overall good

Cons: A little difficult to find the pickup car

Pros: It was fast and easy

Pros: Everything good

Pros: Airport shuttle

Pros: AWFUL. Could not find shuttle bus. Office was closed. No one on phone

Cons: Had to give up and go to Europecar

Pros: I sent an email to Gobycar reservations to ask for an extension on my rental. Saying if this is not possible to do online please reply. Nothing was returned or acknowledged! I really love being ignored!!!!

Cons: Gobycar in Palma did not come up on google maps . Turns out that your need to delete one word in the address for it to identify the Palma location. I spent a good 45 minutes driving around trying to locate Gobycar.

Pros: Got no service at all

Cons: Flight arrived late , bus not at pick up point , phoned for service but they take the weekend off … stranded and wasted money

Pros: Friendly efficient staff, clean new cars.

Cons: The only unpleasant experience is the shuttle drivers are obviously annoyed presumably underpaid and under respected.

Pros: Very simple / very organised and car was very high quality - clean. Representative explained all I needed to know and no issues at all with collections or return

Pros: Miła obsługa. Szybka realizacja.
