Pros: The second person we spoke to clarified the complexity of the insurance situation so we could understand it instead of feeling pressured to purchase it. He was clear, grounded, understanding and ultimately very gracious. The car was wonderful, great on gas, fun to drive (Mini Cooper), clean and the drop off was easy.

Cons: The first person we spoke to we found rather defensive and aggressive when we were asking her about the insurance policy. There was a lot of pressure at first to get their insurance with little clarification and what felt like a lot of pressure given the vulnerability of our situation.

Pros: I couldn't use my credit card for discovercars to hold the deposit of €900, but I could pay off the insurance plan. Unplanned in my holiday budgetting. I didn't have much of a choice. When the staff saw I was hesitant about the decision on the price of the insurance plan in relation to the type of car I had reserved initially, they extended the courtesy to give me an upgrade to a BMW x1 M series for the same price as the lesser car. The upgrade made my whole trip so incredibly more pleasant

This is potentially dangerous when attempting to use controls while vehicle in motion

Pros: Very efficient and helpful just need to check screen washer bottle as empty and the insurance paper you keep in view needs to clip to sun visor

Pros: Awful service. We have waited really long time to pick up car. The agent was rude when trying to sell me additional insurance. I did not want to buy but he was telling me i will have problems when dropping a car.

Cons: our flight was late, no pick-up option after 23:00, and our car (even thou paid) was not available in the morning anymore. Can´t say if that could be considered unfair, because it was not their mistake our flight was delayed, and we got an alternative solution, just not the kind we wanted (no automatic)

Cons: When picking up the car rhe agent kept bugging us about their insurance. When dropping off, another agent quickly found the smallest scratch and over charged for it. They charged 130 euros for a tiny scratch. We don’t know when it happened - if it even happened during the rental period - but the car came with rather large obvious scratches, so the amount of money felt rather ridiculous. We had discovercar’s insurance so it wasn’t a problem for us, but the whole deal wasn’t fun.

It wouldn’t show up in the pictures so it was like a scam. Terrible never use that car rental place go by car. People are really rude. That worked there except for the drivers of the van to and from the airport. They were very nice.

Cons: The person who greeted us at the return insisted that a small scratch was our fault even though I am sure it didn't happen on our watch. His manager refused to act as an arbiter in the dispute, and they charged me 186.99 euros for a one-inch scratch at the bottom (almost underside) of the passenger door. I provided them with a (poor) photo that I believed showed the scratch already there when I picked up the car. The person disagreed, and I had to pay. Very short-sighted on customer care.
