Pick-up instructions
You will receive your rental car at the Sixt branch, which is located in Piazzale Mario Cobianchi, car park area. It's reachable through Shuttle Service offered by the airport. The service is open from 5:30 am until the last flight with a frequency of 15 min. The departure of the shuttle is located in front of a white gazebo with a sign "Shuttle bus rent a car" outside of the airport on the right. The car rental area is also reachable by foot in walking distance 5 minutes, along a track of 400 metres marked on the ground with red colour.
Drop-off instructions
Follow the signs to the Parking P5 rent a car, situated in Via Cariola 1, 56121 Pisa. The Sixt parking lots are the first parking lots on the right-hand side (ground floor).

Pros: Good location and no queue Online access to advance registration/payment and instant electronic receipt of final return document.
Cons: Hard sell on extra insurance that was not required, and tried to get me to choose another vehicle but did not mention it would be an extra 20 Euro+ per day Pick-up area is very cramped and very difficult to extract or return the vehicle Receiving agent on return marked vehicle as badly soiled (was washed the previous day and was clean - pictures to prove it). Return document was wrong on several points and they would not change it when challenged. Open to fraudulent charges for "damage"

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.

The following surcharges may apply: motorisation fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
