Cons: Nobody checked our car on return which was a bit worrying in case we got a surprise damage bill. (the car was returned in perfect condition)

The agent was friendly and I was categorically told that I did not need to pay a €1500 security deposit (which I had no problem with), and she would apply a €120 deposit, plus €100 fuel deposit. The agent did the classic turn the screen to face me for 2 seconds and quickly turn it back. Working in insurance I told the agent I already have the extra hire car cover. I was in fact misled and mis-sold €120 of ‘smart cover’.

Also saying the premium insurance i had taken out with discovery cars wouldn't cover me, and i should take out there own insurance to make sure that i am covered. When we got to the car it was filthy inside and out. There was also damage to the rear bumper of the car. The company didn't give us any information as to any previous damage on the car. So we had to do a video of the car inside and out for own purpose.

I Showed them the contract, but they wouldn`t look at it; they said there was a balanve of 300 euros remaining and they didn`t care what price Discover had quoted. They were closing up for the evening soon, and if I wanted to take the car, I had to pay. It felt like extortion, and the contract With Discover was worthless.

And even though I arrived 15 minutes before official closing time I was still charged out of hours fee because because they kept moving me down the queue. If I knew this I would book directly, as it would have been cheaper.

She asked if we had a picture of this damage before which you couldn’t see the mark in the previous video because of the angle, she then said she would need to charge for this included the £200 charge and didn’t even finish the car inspection almost like she was happy she had done her job, joke of a service.

Pros: I paid for the extra premium cover in the UK (so, assuming I was completely covered for everything). Centauro dismissed this fact an insisted I pay a further premium rate on arrival. The agent was aggressive, rude and disrespectful towards me and my partner. He claimed he had never heard of Discovercars - insisting we pay their premium rate or we would not get the keys.

Cons: Disgusting rede behavior - bullying and forcing customers to pay premium rate for cover. We asked for the agents name and he refused to provide details and covered hi ID badge. He was confrontational. We paid in the UK for full-cover, only to find this was disregarded on arrival. Discovercars did not exist in Centauro opinion. We feel scammed and ripped off. Someone is not being honest???

Pros: Overall a good experience.

Cons: Didn't like being sold further insurance upon pick up when I already got insurance when booking online. The agent was quite aggressive with the sale.

Cons: Car was very dirty. Car was very damaged, seriously damaged on the outside, no replacement available apparantly after reclaiming. No wiper fluid in the car.

Cons: I was charged 300 EUROS for damage which was already on the car - terrible customer service. I will not be using Discover Cars or Centauro again.

Cons: Painfully slow key collection at the desk. The car was quite a few years old and in poor condition with damage to every panel. It also wasn't the model we were expecting and the luggage space was less than the car we had expected.

Pros: Service was disappointing. The members if staff was unhelpful and ignored our questions. There was a smell in the car upon picking it up which we had to put up with from previous users. Not cleaned properly. Any compensation would be appreciated in light of this. Please refund the card linked to the car hire.

Cons: See above. Poor service. We booked via a 3rd party site and were told this in a negative way by the member of your staff. 90 mins waiting time plus a dirty interior car.

Cons: The recommended smart cover. I didn't clearly understand the parts of the cost to pay at the counter (rental, fuel deposit, car deposit or smart cover). The Hyundai i10 vechicle is rather weak, it was hard to accelerate beyond 60 km/h on slopes upwards.

Pros: Once we got to the window, going to collect everything was quick and easy. Car was great just what we needed.

Pros: The first car I was given had a bad rip in the tyre wall. Thankfully I noticed it before I left as it would have been quite dangerous. The agent apologised and gave me an alternative car.

Cons: Collected the car but there was severe damage to rear door which was not highlighted by the staff. Had to take photos in the car park and then return and queue back at the collection desk to report it. Had I not checked then I could have been blamed for it in return.

After driving to my destination, I noticed some minor scratches on the car door that hadn’t been visible in the dark garage when we picked it up. This made me anxious, as I was concerned Centauro might wrongly assume I caused the damage and charge me for it.

Pros: The staff in the Parking Lot were extremely friendly and helpful on both pickup and drop off. The car was new so in excellent condition.

Cons: Had a 40 minute wait to be seen at the counter at pickup. The agent became quite moody when I would not pay for extra insurance as I had already had my own excess insurance. He insisted that I would lose my deposit and that they will not provide me any documentation to enable me to claim it back from my own insurance policy. I'm quite used to the hard sell at the pickup desk but this type of threatening behavior is quite annoying.

Cons: I had specifically reserved an automatic vehicle because I experience pain in my left leg as a result of an accident in 2024. No automatic vehicle was available and the agent was unconcerned and rude.

He said this 20 times and maked us feel afraid and stupid. We told him we had a all risk assurance, but he still tried. We really did not like this
