Pros: Car was as described. Few marks here and there, but they were reported in the contract. I made sure I reported an additional mark on the left wing and they accepted it.
Cons: There's an additional charge for fuel you have to pay in advance even though you intend to return the car with full tank. In my case of the little Fiat 500, it was £89. Not had this with any other hiring company. The charge was refunded when I returned the car with full fuel, although in my case they refunded me £6 less for some reason.
Pros: Quick and efficient pick up and return. The car was very clean and a pleasure to drive.
Cons: Trying to enforce you buy their excess protection insurance which was extortionately priced. Didn't listen when I said I had a policy already and tried to say that it wasn't as good and this is the only way to be properly covered

Cons: The booking of the car I was not advised of certain costs which probably would have swayed my decision in booking a car in the first place. I only booked the car as was cheaper than taxi but after all the added costs this did not work out as planned. The car after one day also would not start considering it was brand new. I thought trouble shooting such as shutting the door putting your seatbelt on and making sure all the windows were shut was not really a great trouble shooting process

Staff patronising, rude and treated us with contempt. They clear think that us stupid English people don't speak any Spanish and therefore we don't understand when they are being rude. How wrong they were.

Cons: I felt pressured, almost threatened, to buy the insurance, which I didn't need due to my own insurance already being in place. I also had a terrible time returning the car - no one had suggested smart key and I couldn't find any "box" to just drop the key into, so I was caught with no time to return the car after the kiosk opened.

Cons: Dropping the cars at Alicante Airport is very annoying as you need to choose the right entrance even though it is the same car park. I would of preferred to pick up and drop the car in Alicante Town without the charges.

The agent did not seem to have listened to this and charged me for full insurance again, this time through Centauro. I presummed this was the damage deposit not extra insurance cover. I was not shown a breakdown of costs at the desk and told it would be sent via email. When I received the email I realised I'd paid for full insurance twice. I emailed back right away complaining. A scam !!

Cons: The first car I was given had a really dirty drivers seat like someone had been eating and drinking and dropping on the seat. Horrible stains. Centauro swopped for another vehicle that was a little better.
Cons: Watch out for the possible trick. The company insistently offers you full insurance, but after you return the car, they can freely detect the lack of any element inside. Without notifying you and without being real, they will charge you. Maybe it's the branch's policy to make money out of nothing, or it's an employee's intention to make you pay for his mistake. But in any case, I don't recommend it, unless you take pictures of the whole interior.

Cons: Once I had finished with the girl at the desk she sent me over to the car park to pick up the car, I had ordered a child’s car seat so had to get this from the man in th me car park office. He was no where to be seen. After 10 hours travelling I had 2 screaming children and i was stuck in the car park as I could not find anyone for over 30 minutes. Luckily another customer was dropping his car off and sent his son over to the deck within the airport to get someone. This caused a lot of stress

Cons: I found Centaura very unsatisfactory when we declined their offer of insurance (we had already taken up insurance with Duscover). Be very careful when collecting a car from Centaura - check it thoroughly for existing damage. We paid the price and were charged for damage we know we did not cause. I will NEVER use Centaura again

We were issued with a different car and paperwork but they made a further admin error and gave us someone else’s car so has to call us to correct the error, however after returning the car they have not refunded our fuel costs despite us returning the car full. I expect this is due to the admin error. I have issued a complaint and am waiting to hear back but no response yet after 48 hours

Cons: We waited in the airport in a queue for the rental desk for almost 2 hours. Then to only require the agent to input my passport and driving license details onto the system and take payment. All of which could have been done online beforehand. I was then charged a late service fee as the flight was delayed and there was the massive queue.
Pros: Although I booked with everything covered they wanted either 154 euros to cover any other damage or they woud take 1200 euro on my credit card until it was returned and even with a scratch on the car they would not give me back my 1200 euro, this is just a scam as I already had cover from the UK insurance, the lady said either you want to pay 154 Euro or 1200 its up to you. I shall spread this to all social media and to money saving expert UK

Cons: I was scammed out of €126 by Centauro. I called Centauro after making the booking on +34966360360 to see if it was ok to use the secondary driver's credit card for the booking as the primary driver does not have a credit card. I was told this was absolutely fine. Upon arriving at the desk to collect the car I was told they could only accept a credit card in the first drivers name. They only way they would accept the secondary drivers credit card was if we added the Smart Cover.

Pros: The car was great - brand new and exactly what we wanted. The staff at the pick up point in the car were very helpful as we'd been given the wrong space number to pick the car up from. Drop off was great and the man who checked our car was polite and efficient.

It should have been full as per hire agreement.
