Pros: Pick up and drop off went smoothly.

Cons: Drivalia, as now noted from other reviews, appear to not notice and mark ALL previous damage. Then when returning the car they suddenly find 'new' damage. And to make it worse, immediately charge your card! I had very clear proof the very obvious damage was pre existing, but already had been charged over £1100. They eventually admitted the damage was preexisting and made a PARTIAL refund, blaming the exchange rate so I am still out of pocket!!! They have now gone silent.

Pros: Would not recommend Drivilia, there’s no compassion or customer service or appreciation. They are only out to make and take your money! They also told us to walk to the airport after dropping the car off instead of using their shuttle. During the inspection they tried to say we had to pay for a tiny scratch that was previously on the car. Beware! Take very clear pictures of every part of the vehicle you rent and document those scratches or dents.

Cons: Customer service was absolutely awful!!! After arguing about a previous scratch on the car, the guy was swearing at us and told us we had to walk to the airport!!

Cons: The spanish man called "John" at the Alicante airport desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Despite buying insurance from discover cars pre trip he forced us to pay over 200 euros for extra insurance on the car which should have been optional and lied telling is this was law in Spain (we checked with our spanish family member who assured us it wasnt). We were already covered but he intimidated us into paying for more and shouted in the face of my eldery grandparent's. Terrible service.

Cons: Charged £180 for small scratch on alloys that was there when we picked up car. If you spot any damage when you pick up the car, take photos and notify Drivalia before you leave the compound. Have used Drivalia many times before with no problems but will reconsider using them again.

She was desperate to find something and highlighted a dent in the door which was already noted on the initial paperwork as already being there. Cons: The people working in the front desk were quite rude, they came up with some extra charges which have not been mentioned before and their response to the question “why we were not informed prior the arrival” they were not able to explain it and instead just said “if you don’t like it, don’t take the car”.

Pros: The shuttle arrived soon after I reached the ouck up point. It was clearly marked up and a new minibus in good condition. The journey to the office area and car compound was less than a kilometer and 5 minutes in duration. The compound looks newly constructed with a smart office/reception area and the cars are parked in rows on well tarmacadamed parking area. The car was a new Fiat 500 Hybrid with just over 600kms on the clock. It served it's purpose and got me to my destination.

Cons: The basic book in process was done quickly and the inline rebooking helped but then came the hard sell to top up the basic insurance cover. Sadly rather than point out that I had not taken up the option when I initially booking and asking me if I wanted to upgrade to which I would reply that I had cover elsewhere and, at this point, the better car rental places like Wiber accept it and move on. U fortunately Drivalia did not, they went through the whole hard sell just like the awful Goldcar firm

Cons: I was expecting a little better car: on the website it described it as a luxurious SUV and I got an almost new Alfa Romeo which felt a little plain. We all fitted in there so it wasn't bad, I was just imagined a class up.

It's too small a car to fit luggage in and awful to drive. Stalled on fast road as someone had set the limiter at 35 kph and I think this should have been reset before we got the car as we were not aware of it and it was very dangerous

After bad mouthing discover cars, he then fleeced another €90s from me by not allowing me to use two separate credit cards, one for the lease and another for the holding charge. The agent rudely told me to cancel the hire if I didn't like it. Just looking for ways to scam. If I was on my own I would have wrapped my knuckles around his head.

It was first time that I have to leave deposit for the fuel tank (it was also not full actually)

Cons: I noticed a scratch that was not mentioned in the contract, and I went to tell the customer service about this. The customer service agent arrogantly laughed that it was a scratch on top of the paint, so it doesn't count. We photographed the scratch with several phone cameras and took a video of the scratch before using the vehicle. The recordings have a time stamp as proof that they are 28.6.2023 at 20:00. After returning the car, Drivalia charges me €345 for the scratch.
