Pros: We rent a car :7 june-14june Dear Discover Cars, The car was oke. But we had to pay twice for the insurance. The lady after the desk forced us to pay for the insurance from her company. How good I tried to convince her that we already payed for insurance she stood by her position. If we should not pay we would be in great trouble. Cons: Att bilen stod parkerad på Hertz parkering

Pros: A good and seriøs company. Notcso much about sell you a insurance at any price.

Cons: The indication for the rental picking up desk was not too good and the dropping off indication was a real disaster for me. Spent one hour surching for the desk in the wrong parking building.

Pros: We upgraded one of the two cars we had rented from manual to automatic, and Firefly were very helpful about getting this done easily.

Pros: It was easy to manage the web site and deliver the car. The car was clean and very comfortable.

Cons: The rental agent at the rental desk acted so aggressive and threatening. I payed for an additional insurance at the Firefy website, and thought the insurance covered what it promised. However, the rental agent argued for the additional insurance at a cost of 280 Euros, and she behaved so assertive and threatening and asserted that I might have to pay for previous damage on the car which if I did not take thorough photos. She ruined the pleasure of renting a car, I barely used the car

Cons: check in desk closed when we arrived, had to get taxis to our accommodation. got another taxi back to airport following day and had no apology or discount for the day we missed and hassle caused or the money we spent on taxis. then we were charged extra for insurance as credit card was declined. Very bad service. will not use FireFly again and will warn others of their bad service

Cons: ...like other car rental companies the full (costly) package is sold to you (all insurances..) increasing the rental price... seemingly unnoticeable scratches can be very costly in hindsight....

Cons: When booking I was presented a full-risk insurance. Later it turned out NOT to be a full-risk insurance but only a LIMITED full-risk insurance resulting in an excess of €1150 on the creditcard. As far as Theft is concerned, the info on the Rental Voucher is confusing because under "Included insurance" it says "Theft protection" whereas under "Full Coverage (Limit €3000)" it says "Refundable theft deductible". Finally, "All your risks are covered!" is incorrect.

Cons: Tried to insist I needed extra insurance even though I told them I had taken extra cover with Discovery Cars

Cons: Not clear tha some things where not covered and there was liablity even with full cover

Cons: The fact that they tried to sell me further insurance which I thought I had already bought for £75 when I booked the car, they said they would want another £200 for full worry free insurance and I still had to leave a £900 credit card security payment. I did not understand that I had to pay for any damages and then settle up with the Discover Car insurance in the UK.

Cons: Firefly have taken money from my account on return of car with absolutely NO notice of why.

Pros: Nothing we did not take the car. We went and booked with Goldcar as they did not hinour the contract. Instead they said your contract is wrong and in complete. its not our problem go talk to discovercars. But reaching you by phone is not possible !

Cons: Everything. They would make up prices and would not say what we were paying for. Things that were nowhere in the contract ! First 225 then 185 and eventually 90 BUT the last option meant than incase of accident we would pay extra 450 euros which again was nowhere in the contract.

Pros: Firefly I believe have taken advantage of the current covid 19 outbreak and are attempting to claw back money due to future losses. I rented a vehicle from alicante before lockdown and only managed to drive it to my destination before everything was locked down. The car then stood on the property unmoved for 4 days before driving back to the airport. The car was fully refilled a couple of kilometres from the airport , I even moved the nozzle as far out as I could get it to maximize the fuel.

Cons: The car was dropped off but the office wouldn't come out ( understandable) and conveyed to them all paperwork including fuel receipts were left on the seat ( I took pics). On returning my credit card has been deducted £150 for no given reason and am unable to get through to them.

Cons: Instruction how to find a parked car was not 100% clear, and we were able ti find a car from second attempt but wasted just few minutes

Pros: Nothing. Horrendous fraudulent company. Rope you in with cheap voucher and then charge you unexpectedly with complete reluctance to issue refund
