Cons: We had to pay €40 after waiting 40 minutes to be served to ‘fast track’ our position In the queue. They tried to upsell the insurance, saying what we had was insufficient in case of breakdown and they tried to upsell to a ‘higher spec’ vehicle for a further €16 per day. Awful and unnerving experience.

Cons: Overcharged by double, given a higher spec car than I requested and when I complained at the counter, they said they didn't have any more vehicles of the size I originally requested. When I said this was their issue, they shrugged their shoulders and didn't help. I've submitted a complaint, but as at two weeks later, they've still not responded

Cons: The car had a lot of damage and was really dirty both inside and out. It looked like there was the result of a sneeze on the rear view mirror.

Cons: The lady at the desk did the hardest sell technique possible trying to get me to pay over 230 euros for more cover when I had already paid for peace of mind. She repeatedly warned me it would cost up to 2000 euros if I scratched the car even slightly. Although I resisted the temptation to cave in and pay it seriously impacted my enjoyment of the holiday and made driving a tense and neurotic experience which I would not ever like to repeat. She was really horrible and had been trained that way

Cons: I made a booking for Elite SUV, my flight was delayed by 5 hours, I called discover cars and let you know regarding the situation, to let OK mobility know we have been delayed. Arrived in Spain at 1am, OK mobility said my booked car had now been released, I had to get a new hire car from them, a lower car class and ended up paying more than £100 more! Won't be booking again through you or OK mobility. I think I was also mis-sold their premium insurance with no opt out.

Cons: They rip you off by more or less forcing you to pay €40 extra to use the Fast Track line, otherwise they won't help you.

Cons: Pick-up: Way too long waiting time! We waited 1.5 hours. Upon arrival you had to register, where you can choose between: new rental, reservation or fast track. People came in between who chose fast track that costs €40, to get to the turn earlier. There were only 2 people behind the counter. It went very slowly per handling because the employee tries to unnecessarily sell another insurance. Everything has already been arranged via Discovercars.

Cons: Service at the desk. The clerk tried charge me different kind of extras using very rough speech. When drop off the clerk blamed the damage at door. Fortunately I had pictures from car when picked up.

They do not check the car with you so its up to you to seek out any damage which apparently I missed one little bit and was charged 140 euros. I will definitely not use them again

We didn't actually take a car so some of the ratings above can't apply but are insisted upon for the review process.

Cons: Said car was ok at drop off, but then claimed we had damaged front bumper when we hadn’t. Took money off our credit card for this. Have complained, yet to hear from them. Believe this is connected to the fact we declined their optional extra insurance. Would not use them again.

Cons: They tried to cheat me with additional insurance while I had full coverage already and threatened me with deductibles from my credit card in case of accident.. which they did after rental was over without any explanation/reason and had to initiate claim procedures to get extra deductions returned.

When I went to an available agent (despite nobody else waiting) told me she won’t see me without the ticket. I had a confirmed reservation, this should have been enough. But I had to try and take another ticket and then wait again.

Pros: Collection fairly easy. I have rented for years from Alicante so not as difficult to navigate various costs involved now.

Cons: There was a dispute about a small amount of damage on return. Thankfully I had photographed the damage on collection otherwise I would have been blamed. They need to step up their awareness and records of any damage however small before customers collect.

We were asked had we taken a picture of gauge but we hadn’t. The matter was resolved however we have been hiring cars in both Alicante & Murcia since 2004 and have never had any issues before.

Pros: Cars were new and in relatively good condition. I had an issue with damage to the car that was not originally spotted on collection but due to a previous accident and it was sorted out by their representative in a timely manner.

Cons: Upon receipt of the documentation for both cars from the agent there was no indicated damage, however on inspection I found some numerous damages and would be unsure if this was an oversight and shows they don’t inspect their cars or it was on purpose in order to catch people not taking full insurance. Either way, beware.

Returning the vehicle the agent asked for you to wait whilst he examined the vehicle as if wanted to find fault. A small mark was found on one alloy wheel for which €260 was charged. Once we were finally served we were told we HAD to pay and extra €150 euros for premium insurance. I had already taken out the highest insurance on the website and had paid in advance for it. I was told if I didn’t pay this extra €150 euros they would have to take €1000 as a holding fee for the car, and if there was any damage or dirt in the car I would loose it all
