Cons: The car - it was under powered and extremely basic. The passengers in the rear could not fell the air conditioning which was needed for August in Spain

Cons: Pick up service was very slow. Waited two hours before speaking to one of the agents.

Cons: Excess insurance hard selling, agent attitude, giving incorrect information in relation to my own excess insurance. Would avoid this company again. I have been hiring cars from ALC since 2003. This was the worst experience with a hire car company. I welcome the investigation recently announced and hope the culprits, including the agent we were unlucky enough to deal with, are dismissed.

Pros: Very professional company. They provided me an unmarked clean car and did not try to invent "scratches" that I didn't make. I am so pleased that you use this company as they are always my favoured choice whenever the price is good. There are some car hire companies at Alicante Airport that I will never use

Pros: car and drop off area people very professional even whne i was collecting the car in the parking area they were really helpful

Cons: lady at desk was rude and aggressive, wsas forceful with sales and I didnt need the insurance, left waiting for approx 1 hr in arrivals hall while people that arrived after us got seen before us

Cons: The condition of the car was poor the wipers didn’t work properly to clear the rain on the windscreen and the one on the back window was broken off completely. The agent who spoke to us when returning the car was extremely rude and accused us of having someone else drive the car which was ridiculous as he could clearly see that wasn’t the case.

Pros: The car was in a horrendous state with over 100 scratches and bumps and a whole door bashed in. Window wipers perished, rear reverse light out and battery in keys needed replaced after 1 day. Car steering also pulled to both the left and right.

Cons: The experience with Centauro was the worst customer service I have ever had. minimal help and information. Online booking not adhered to, rushed and rude staff. No-one would help us with our problems, unhelpful in collection area. Zero customer service in collection area and no handover of car with instructions. Merely threw the keys across the counter. Also contacted them twice to ask for help and no-one got back to me!!

Pros: Centauro are usually up front about their charges and this makes them look more expensive than competitors, and this means smaller queues.

Pros: We broke down on the second day of our holiday. The customer service was excellent and a second hire car was organised for us. Both Torrevieja office and Alicante airport staff were great. Even though we had problems, everything was sorted quickly and efficiently.

Cons: Unfortunately the rental car we collected from Alicante airport broke down on the second day and then we had to spend a day of our holiday sorting out a new hire car which we had to collect from Torrevieja office.

Cons: Did not give details of damage on car only by e-mail. No reception in car park and no wi-fi in office. Had to get office to print form out for me to check all the damage on car before taking car on arrival, this slowed the earlier efficient service received and held us up a lot.
