Pros: Car was in good condition and almost new.
Cons: Very pushy desk staff trying to sell additional insurance cover. Not very clear at explaining refund policy etc. Staff at collection station not very pleasant.

Cons: Yet another European car rental company that try to extort money through unfair fuel policies NOT EXPLAINED when booking. I alway book cars with full to full or same to same as these are the fairest, most honest way. What I was not told was that Record Go’s policy is that you return the car full (as expected) but you have to provide a receipt for a petrol station within 10k of their drop off location. This should be pointed out when booking. Problematic 7am Sunday morning

Cons: HIDDEN COSTS..... Insurance was brought in addition to the insurance taken out with discovered cars. i incurred an extra £114 which was NOT FAIR. BAD hidden costs.
Pros: Newish car (6,000km), very good condition inside and out, easy hassle free pick up (no aggressive sell/threats on extra insurance), easy return.
Cons: Had to produce a petrol fill up receipt from within 10km of the airport or lose 93euro - bit excessive.
Pros: Very good indeed other than the rep trying hard to make us buy their insurance on top of what we already have.

Pros: The entire process was extremely uncomplicated and functioned well. The vehicle was very clean and well serviced, the crew friendly and helpful, the prices and offers competitive. I’m a very happy customer.

Pros: Car was smaller than we booked. They hadn’t filled it with petrol despite it being a full to full policy. Far too long at desk waiting and then hard work with agent repeatedly trying to sell upgrades, insurance. Overall a poor experience.
Cons: Very expensive. Car was not full as promised. Ages spent waiting at car desk and then time wasted trying to explain I didn’t need all the extra insurance they push on you.
Cons: We were offered an upgrade of a car at 3€ a day which we declined to then be given an upgrade for free. So just trying to charge us for the only car they had. Usual insurance selling. When dropping the car off it was very suspicious that a torch was used and the consultant went straight to the under side of the car and said it was damaged but not to worry our insurance would cover it.

Cons: They actually tried to frighten me (and others) into buying their insurance by saying that the car would not be covered for breakdown assistance if I did not buy their additional, expensive insurance, this completely flouts what you state in the initial stages of making the booking. They were also extremely unhelpful with some advice I needed regarding the locking of the car which was resolved within a minute once they had bothered themselves to find the answer ( after an hours wait and calling
Cons: Giving out malfunctioning cars. Support doesn’t answer emails at all. Service is slow.

Cons: Car we were given had a worn/badly fitted clutch. Perhaps they should be checked more thoroughly in-between rentals, but we didn't break down luckily.
Cons: The price was a lie. The agent forced us to pay an additional 150 euros or refused to give us the car. I know your agents get commission on this and take full advantage of tired and weary travelers. It's a con. I'll never use record go again and will tell all my friends and Instagram followers the same thing.
Pros: Easy and quick. Jorge at the Alicante Airport desk was very good, explained everything clearly.
Cons: When dropping the car off, the woman took her time inspecting the car, despite the fact I had a flight to catch and keeping me to ask unnecessary questions and even asking to go through all the photos I'd taken before I picked up the car.

Cons: They really tried to make me take out extra insurance although I had your full cover policy, the car they assigned me was very badly abused, damaged tyres, bonnet had dents where it had opened and hit the wipers, scratches, dents and low oil level. I will not use Record-Go ever again, the worst case of Costa Car Rental rip-off I have experienced so far.

Cons: Sadly, the car cost me an extra €150 at the desk. Having paid extra for ‘Full Cover’ I was under the impression I wouldn’t have to pay any extras at the desk. However, having argued with the agent for 20 minutes, they refused to release the car without me paying for insurance. Which was another 50% of what the car hire cost me. It was about 10pm and I had two tired children with me. In fact, at one point the agent said “it’s late, your children are tired, just pay the fee and I’ll let you leave

Cons: Arrivals Hall process wasn't staffed well enough and queues took 2 hrs even with prior booking/registration. There were two offices in the terminal, only.one open. And not all desks were manned so there would have been opportunity to staff it better.

Cons: The car I was given had an issue with the clutch. I could have easily been involved in an accident. Fortunately, I managed to stop the vehicle on the hard shoulder but it took ages for the breakdown lorry to turn up. My day was ruined but luckily I was not flying that day or I would have certainly missed my flight
Cons: When I needed to extend the rental period I had to go to the airport in person. It was very frustrating trying to contact someone by phone. Hold periods were upwards of an hour.
Pros: I’ve used Record Cars before and was impressed hence the reason I booked with them again.
Cons: The car was not cleaned inside or out. The dirt and dust inside looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. I’m shocked that Record cars would give a vehicle in this condition to a customer especially during a pandemic. I didn’t feel safe from a cleanliness perspective.

Cons: Where do I begin....(1) undue pressure by agents re their insurance was extremely excessive (2) car was badly damaged (3) numerous customers complaining at drop-off as agents trained to invent damage to make charges on no basis (3) I took a close video of the vehicle and marked up the report but still they pointed to a tiny scratch on the hub of the wheel where there was already pre-existing damage (bump and scrapes) all down the side of that car and charged me for repair. (5) abusive staff

Cons: Charged €300 by over zealous agent determined to find a fault with the car. First question (before even looking at the car, was if we had bought their insurance product). Surprise surprise she subsequently found a small scuff on alloy wheel and charged €300 fee. Having hired cars for 10 years with no problem, would not recommend this company with their dirty tactics. Feel sorry for the next customer who will inevitably be charged for the same damage!

Cons: I think you should be honest about the information and the prices. I pain on the site for full insurance for the car, then when I arraived so the agnet which has a problem to understand and speak english, explained that its not the full insurance that it should be and I need to pay 128 Euros for ensurance for everyday. And when I shose a Hundai 10 and then I got a FIAT Panda so I think the panda is not similar to Hundai 10 and anyway. I think this a cheating but in a smart way.
