Cons: Everything. By the time we arrived the car had been rehired. We were left, late at night in the airport with no way of getting to our destination 50k away. Rental company said your own fault, you were late and you shouldn't book through a third party.

Cons: Not very good. The lady on the desk when we collected the car spent most of the time trying to convince us to buy their insurance and spend more money upgrading to a SMALLER car!!! Also, when we returning the car, the staff were very rude and very abrupt!

Cons: I got a rubbish car. A DR made in China and drove like a tractor. When I said I had not ordered one they said I could upgrade at cost to a better known make. Also had to fill petrol within 11 kilometres of airport. Never heard of that before. Had to detour to do it. Would not use them again.
Pros: I appreciate the fact that the car agent kept open for an extra hour due to flight delays. This did cost an extra €40 for every car rented.

Cons: office kiosk was shut and had moved to another location in the terminal. We were given a DR, a Chinese car that was utterly rubbish. underpowered and cheap. When we returned the car the agent (Estephani ) refused to give me a written ok approval and said my deposit and fuel will be paid back. I asked again for written confirmation that all was OK and she flatly and rudely refused saying we do not do that. I also said that there were some major issues with the car but she walked away.

Pros: Record-go company appears to be fraud company, they have charged for a damage not done by me. Looking at reviews on internet there were several such cases similar to me which have exactly same experiences as me. They expect a person hiring car to first take a full video of car and go under the car and check if there is any dent else they will charge for it when car is returned.
Cons: I am not at all happy with the over all experience with Record-go. They are not transparent and have charged me for something which Sopra to have been pre-existing in the car. They were expecting me to have taken a video of every inch of car to prove that damage to car was not done by me.

Pros: On collection of the car, the record go people informed me the insurance policy sold to me by discover card wouldn’t cover what they said it should, and proceeded to sell me another policy. Also the full-to-full fuel policy when a full tank of fuel is already charged at picking is not good. Having booked a medium size car and expecting something suitable for a family I was given a Fiat 500 inflated version of the tiny one. Everything rattled and the throttle response was terrible.
Cons: The idea of paying for fuel then to have it credit back is an insult to my time, so the customer is supposed to use their time to fill up your cars? That’s a joke.

I ordered Ford Kuga - they gave me "a better" car without discussing this with me: weird brand SWM SUV - Chinese made, with excessive fuel consumption and constant alert "check airbag". They charged me over 106€ for "fuel tank" which I hopefully get back soon plus 1400€ deposit which [at least last time] they kept exactly 30 days after return of the car.. what for?! Surprisingly when I came on the parking lot at level 3 - I saw 3 other Kuga Fords waiting..
Pros: Everything , but most of all the lady behind the desk so friendly ,polite and extremely helpful . She was there at the time we took the vehicle back and again so friendly. Definitely we will use record again and hope that lady is on the desk .

Pros: Friendly staff and easy collection process. Some paperwork issues, but they were quickly rectified with minimal delay. Simple drop off process and quick return of funds to credit card.
Cons: Hired a medium size car, however this wasn't ideal deapite being a large SUV type vehichle (DR 4.0) the boot space was very small and not all luggage would fit in boot. Only had 2x cases 1 x hand luggage case and a pram. All fit easily into my own Skoda Octavia at home. A larger family would require something with more storage space for comfortable tavelling. The hiring of a car seat was expensive (almost double the cost of the actual car hire) but this doesn't seem to be specific to Record go.
Cons: Recordgo in Alicante who do dont always refund your fuel deposit in full. I have now had to chase Recordgo for the difference, despite ALWAYS returning the car full and within 10km of the airport with my receipts to prove my fuel purchase

Pros: Nothing anymore. Record Go is Maffia. They rent you a car which has damages that are not mentioned on the contract and then they blame them on you.
Cons: The car was not ready at the agreed time. It was in a dark place of the parking. I made pictures, but not of the wheels. They charged me 230 eur of damage that I did not cause. Never again Record Go. They try to frame you and they do that with several people for the same damages.

Cons: I rented from RecordGo they charged me for a tank of petrol, and debited my CC rather than blocking the money. On returning the car had a full tank of petrol. however, because I filled up more than 10km from the airport I was charged 1/8 a tank of petrol and a €30 admin fee. After discussing, the agent dropped the €30 charge and said that i would be refunded immediately 7/8 of the tank (€83). I have not had the money refunded after 48hrs. This should be return immediately.

Pros: Pretty much everything. Fuel deposit was refunded very promptly.
Cons: Our Opel Corsa - we discovered when we happened to look during the hire period - did not have a spare wheel (or 'charging cable - both contrary to what the hire paper-work suggested - although I omitted to check this 'small print' on collection). But that didn't prove to be a problem - because we were lucky enough not to need to change wheels and the company did not suggest that we had lost in on return!

Cons: I booked VW Caddy or similar and got the lowest end of that car type, Fiat. Car was really, really weak, like turbo was blown or it didn't have one? (It was diesel tho), and it also felt like it had no more than 60hp. So climbing Spanish hills was a bit scarier than it should, but on the good end, I had almost no chance of getting ticket for speeding :)

When we picked the car up the damage was more extensive than was marked on the paper work, and l had to go back to the office and get someone to come and take photos to update there records again adding wait time.

Cons: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY-if yiu book through discover cars you need to make a decision about insurance, either way will cost you. I opted for the hire company insurance for piece of mind. Car had lots of damage as well as a dodgy paint job and worst of all it stunk of cigerette smoke and made my daughter feel sick. I’ve retuned the car and for some reason they have taken €50 from my bank account with any notice or explanation why they have done this. They are not responding to emails

They wanted an exter 220 euros off me for the full insurance otherwise is was only covered to dents up to 4cm... Then they said I had to fuel the car up at a petrol station within 10km of the airport or I'd be charged 30 euros.

Cons: We fill out all details before. You know when we’re coming. Therefore you know when desks need to be manned and there shouldn’t be much to do. Instead, we were fourth in the queue and sat around for over half an hour waiting to get to the front, then another 15 mins on forms we’d already done.
Pros: That someone checked the car over when you arrived back so you can go home from your holiday with peace of mind that you won’t incur any additional charges. Also not many companies are offering unlimited mileage. This was actually the one thing that made me choose your rental service over others.

Pros: We did not thoroughly check the car over at the start. When it came to be dropped off the representative was quite rude by way that they would not accept an explanatory reason. She found a Strat h which we did not spot at the time. However it states if the scratch is 4 cm or less it would be dismissed, which it was 4 cm, but they claimed was bigger than 4 cm. They were quite dismissive and did not give us a chance for explanation.

Cons: Be careful on filling up at alicante on return, there are only 3 garages within 10km of the airport, and make sure you keep the receipt to show them as you will not be believed and lose your 98 euro deposit for fuel

Pros: I have emailed discover card as the car given to us was badly damaged we were charged for items such as a full tank fuel that wasn’t stated in the initial agreement. Got to the car and there was only 3/4 of a tank however if we were to return the car like this they would keep our 115 euro fuel deposit.
Cons: No one went over the car with us they just pre marked the damage on a sheet of paper with the agent stating ohh this car is very badly damaged . They took advanced payment for a full tank of fuel at 115 euro when we only had 3/4 of a tank and it only cost around 60 euro to actually full the tank. There was also no one at end of the rental to go over the person who was there said they hadn’t started yet. We have had to take photo and video evidence of the car at the start of the rental& end.

Cons: Poor service. Girl went round car with a torch looking for any marks at all. Found a 5 cm mark on wing mirror that despite we were sure was already there charged 129 euros. Be prepared if you use this service they will find something to charge you extra for !!!

Cons: Very slow to get paperwork done when picking car up. Massive 1.5 meter scratch on rhs of car that was not on paperwork (if not spotted I would have been liable for it). Do not like the fuel policy - either the reserve of euros for a full tank or the need for using a fuel station within 10 km of airport
Pros: The lady Barbara on the desk at Alicante took my call to inform her I couldn't get through to roadside assistance, and resolved the collection of your car. But did not provide a replacement.
Cons: "SERVICE" what service! The roadside assistance company is a waste of time. You were paid to rent me a car for the duration of my trip from start to finish, which you did not comply with, as the car incurred a fault (Not caused by me). Therefore I should be reimbursed one day of the rental plus the cost of my taxi fare and compensation for the inconvenience caused by Record Go.

The collection desk was under staffed, it took a long time to process the paperwork, it would have been much quicker if we could have used the touchscreens but we were told we weren't allowed.
Pros: Returning the car was problem free - so far
Cons: I was told the booked car was speed limited, making it unusable. I was given the hard sell (including outright lies) to induce me to take overpriced insurance. I was told they would take 2000 euros for 30 days if I did not take the insurance. I was obliged to pay a deposit for fuel which I was never told about when booking. The terms of the fuel deposit are unusually onerous - I had to refuel within 10km of the airport and show the receipt as proof. I would not use RecordGo again.

Cons: We were disappointed when we returned the car to be charged a refueling charge and a proportion of the fuel we had used. We refueled the car on the motorway services about 20kms from the airport , other car hire companies have recommended doing this due to the difficulty of finding a service station in Alicante, and it has always been fine. Therefore if using this company make sure you take the time to find a garage within 10kms of the airport or you will be charged.
Cons: Arrived at Alicante airport one hour earlier than than the time we said we would arrive due to the flight arriving early. went to the desk to collect the car, the agent told us we were to early and to come back in an hour which i thought was very unreasonable bearing in mind the car was obviously there and within the daily rental period the car was booked.

Cons: The disgusting tactics to try and make me pay more. They claimed that the car I had chosen was limited to a speed of 90kph and that I could upgrade to a car with no limiter at an extra cost. I declined. And the car was not limited. They also claimed that the car was not fully insure with me and them and only with you the broker and that I would have to pay all damages to them and claim back from you the broker. However I could waver this by paying 150 euro to override this. I too declined.

Cons: The car had done 50,000 miles and the oil warning light came on after a day, meaning we lost the best part of that day having to sort it out and pay for the oil and filter change. We may have to pay for the breakdown recovery service. I am waiting for a response from the hire company.
