Pros: Not much

Cons: Since we rented through discovercars they said they weren’t able to give the same level of service that they would otherwise give their clients. If we didn’t purchase their insurance they wanted to hold so much money on our credit card that it pretty much forced us to pay the insurance. A/C didn’t work, didn’t approach them about it because it was discovered later into the trip. Windsheild was so dirty upon pick up that it was almost dangerous to drive. Didn’t have 2 sliding doors

Pros: It was relatively quick to pick up the car and be on our way.

Cons: There could have been more direction in finding where to pick up the vehicle. It said on the instructions to call a phone number when we arrived, however the first number didn’t work and the second one nobody answered after multiple attempts.

Pros: Not clear where the van would be. It was pouring rain and very difficult to get the complimentary shuttle to pick up the car.

Cons: There was absolutely no mention of a 29 Euro charge for a ride to and from the airport to the car drop off place. This was NOT made clear on whatever platform I booked the car.

Pros: Friendly staff, easy drop off, and great value.

Cons: The email that we had said to walk to P6. P6 is far! We called as we were walking to P6 and were told to go to P5. Other passengers said their email said to go to P5 so they had no issues. It was strange that our email said P6. Anyway, no big deal. Just confusing in a moment when we were stressed from a long travel day. After that, it was smooth sailing. Highly recommend and would go to Ace again (and just go to P5 this time :)

Pros: Ace is inconvenient; so many other options on site at the airport. The rental voucher specifies proceeding to P6, call Ace and a shuttle will pick you up. P6 is the furthest point from the terminal and inconvenient with luggage. Then when you call, they tell you to walk back to P5. These two areas are about 200 meters apart… very inconvenient!

Cons: The staff were efficient after contact was made and the car was in terrific condition and fit our needs. But given that there are 6 other companies right in the terminal, I would choose another company next time

Cons: Charging shuttle service. Not our fault that Ace doesn’t have a kiosk at the airport. Better to hide fee in rental charge per day rather than “ nickel and dime” customers. Also didn’t like how pick up location was not actually at the airport when it said it was on the website. Not clear at all.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00 - € 2500.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Drivers between the ages of 19 and 25 must provide a driver license that is valid for at least 2 year(s).


The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, photocard driving license.
