Cons: They gave us a car we did not reserve. We requested a compact and we received an SUV which was difficult to drive in the narrow streets of Lagoa and Ponta Delgada. We parked in a garage and never drove it. It was a stressful aspect of our nice vacation.

Cons: I got charged EXTRA 30€ due to my late car pick up time although it only happened because of my delayed flight. I was never told or informed of this risk of fee when I did the booking in the first place. On the drop-off day I gave a note to an agent about that issue to what he replied ‘that information is in the small letters’, demonstrating lack of transparency. I also had to sign documents that could’ve been sent in advance in order to have time to read them

A few hours later, I got an e mail saying that the car had some damage. I don’t know what they are talking about as I left it exactly as I got it . They had my deposit of 1600 Euros, so they allowed themselves to deduct 265,67 Euros just because they felt like it. Don’t ever use their services

This can cause delays both with pickups and dropoffs. I assume it was just because it was December, and multiple agents would be on staff during peak seasons.

Pros: Car was spotless, very fun to drive, the only thing it didn’t have was a backup camera but it did have warning sensors as you got close to a wall. One week of driving the island and it used a tank and a quarter of fuel, very efficient and comfortable.

Cons: I travel for business frequently and rented a car over 500+ times in my life. This was truly an awful experience. On return, there was a “Nick” under the bumper (barely normal wear of driving a car) and it was deemed “slight damage”. This slight damage was 125 euros worth of damage, more than a days rental for a nothing more than a Nick. The practices of this company shameful and nothing I experienced before. I am telling everyone I know to not to use your company in the future. Never again!

Pros: The dropping off of the vehicle at the return park was very efficient. The parking lot was easy to find and the employee was efficient and pleasant to deal with.

Cons: 1. It took too long to collect the vehicle 2. The amount of money blocked on the credit card was excessive 3. We booked an economy car and were hoping for a Fiat Panda but were given a Seat Ibiza instead 4. The car had too many dents and scratches and we were advised to take photos and a video before collection (including under the bumper) to avoid possible "misunderstandings". This worried us quite a bit. If a car has been damaged and monies collected by renters why hasn't it been fixed?

Cons: I found it hard to find a Wayzor rep in the car lot. I wish they had installed the car seat prior to us arriving. I had to remind them that we rented a car seat. I found the rental to be quite expensive for the amount of time we used the rental for.

Cons: I was just a little disappointed with the car. We were a group of people who rented 4 different cars but from different companies. We had the oldest car and we were the ones who paid more (more than 65,000 kms on the counter). I got the brand of car I reserved, but I did not expect an older car. But everything worked correctly.

This was rediculous and I feel was a scam to attempt to steal the security deposit. I took a video of the undercarriage in an attempt to head this off. I feel the company is NOT honest and cannot be trusted!

We rented from Wayzor at PDL in Sao Miguel. The employees were fantastic and very helpful, clearly communicating how to return and what certain charges were. That said, there is a $2,000 deposit for the rental car. Additionally, the free cancellation Discover Cars offers is a website credit (not cash)

Cons: The checkin process was very long. I’m not sure if the computers were slow that day, but I waited in line for 15 minutes behind one person and then had a very responsive agent working with me, but things just took a long time. The car itself was a typical rental but the brakes were really sketchy and seemed to be on their last leg. I had to be really careful about even going the speed limit because the brakes would take so long to slow me down.

Cons: I was asked to take an extra insurance, which I refused. That's why they gave me that car full of scratches and damages, 14 on a list. By returning they found a fifteenth scratch for which i had to pay 165 euro. That's their way of earning extra money. If you don't pay for the extra insurance, they 'll get their extra money by renting you a damaged car en "finding" an extra damage by returning.

Pros: They don’t require a huge block on your credit card, VERY easy to work with, good fleet of cars, great workers-polite and friendly. Willing to take time to explain everything and go over the rental car for existing damage very thoroughly before you drive away.

Cons: We had made a change for the pick - up time, which was acepted online but it wasn't updated in the system. This prolonged the waiting time at pick-up. We expected to have Bluetooth for the GPS and the car didn't have. We expected to drive a Volkswagen and another type of car was given.

Pros: On the pick up there was no inspection bellow the car. Wen we deliver that was the first place to look informing us that usually is the place were people damage the car! Accusing us of doing so and make us pay almost 200€ for it!

Cons: We felt scammed. The car was not checked bellow on pick up and on the delivery was the first place they looked looked like they were expecting that! We don’t went with car anywhere besides normal road! Rip off!
