Pros: Competent crew, no unnecessary waiting. I liked the possibility of using a single deposit for multiple rentals from island to island.

Cons: The car was in horrible condition. Not worth the money, scratches and dents everywhere. When returning the car the representative jorge rapso stated that I caused tire damage. I have a video and photographic evidence that the damage was preexisting. Despite showing him and his manager the said the car had to be sent for analysis. I feel like I was taken advantage of in a foreign country. Very disappointed in the service. Typically I contact the rental agency directly to avoid this problem.

Cons: The initial booking said that I needed to have an international driving permit, which ultimately wasn’t required by the desk agent, so it was a waste of time and money for me to get it.

Cons: They're the most popular agency in PDL so the hire queue can be long when a large flight arrives (it wasn't terrible, maybe 10-15 minutes)

Cons: At the point of returning the car, the agent charged a 35 Euro 'extraordinary dirt' fee for a bit of dirt on the side panels of the vehicle. We were told we had no choice but to pay it despite disagreeing with the assessment. I'd be wary of the honesty and business practices of this rental agency. See photos. If you rent a car from this firm, take the time to hand wipe or wash any visible dirt from traveling around the island.

Pros: The assistance of the staff made renting in a foreign country as easy as I would have hoped it could be.

Cons: I personally had difficulty accessing the drop off lot at the Ponta Delgada airport, but the signs were slightly confusing (especially at 5:00). Any additional written tips about particular locations is always a plus to me.

Pros: Relatively simple process. Understaffed at the check in desk created long lines but we had our documents ready and things went quickly once we got to the desk.

Cons: No windshield washer fluid in the car - return was delayed a bit while they questioned a scuff that was on the car when we picked it up. To their credit, they found a photo of the car condition before our rental with the scuff and quickly apologized and sent us on our way.

Tank was full.Car was a fairly new Citroen C3, 4 door manual.Fit medium size and carryon in the trunk, Back packs in the rear. Comfortable size for 2, with only carryon luggage, packs ok for 3. It drove well, handled the steep winding interior island roads. We returned the car with interior clean, tank full and exterior quite dirty from Sao Miguel rain and mud.
