Pros: The agents were helpful and honest, and didn't try to push any extras on us.

Cons: The guy in the lot where we picked up the vehicle was nonchalant and dismissive about the existing damage spots on the vehicle. We weren't sure if they were going to try to charge us for the existing damage, however in the end we were not charged so that was good.

I asked for their pictures and they gave me a picture from April (now it is late September). I don’t have any pictures of my own which I now realize I should have taken when I was renting. But it was late in the night in a dark parking lot and the dent they are talking about is under the car on the passenger side. Anything could have happened in 5+ months! Terrible experience!

Cons: When I brought back the car, they told me they found damage on the car. It turned out to be a scratch on one of the tire rims , about 1cm in length and maybe 2mm in width, something that was so negligible that it could have been there when we picked it up and even if it wasn't, it was incredibly small, practically unnoticeable and negligible in my opinion. They still put together a report, and made me sign it, saying I would have to pay for it. I'm 58 years old, never seen anything like it.

There must have been 20 people on line to collect a car but they did have a shorter line for returns. Given that they don't need to see your car's you uses for the deposit it seems unnecessary assuming no damage is done to the car and would apees up the process for those picking up if the car park attendant simply collected the slips and a back office agent handled the credit card

Also should have an email for contact from Toronto, not just a Portugal number. We wanted to cancel the extra insurance and report our flight delay. Caused much unecessary stress. Please credit us back the cost of the extra insurance as our credit card company covered it.

Didn't like the fact that the insurance purchased didn't/doesn't cover the claimed defect without me personally having to deal with the insurance company instead of the insurance just handling the cost. Would not recommend this provider to others looking to rent a vehicle.

Had difficulty using Apple Play and attendant tried but could not help us. We wanted to change car next day as we are familiar with Google Maps and MapQuest and did not want to have to learn another system. Next day we discovered there is a delay of 2 minutes using Apple Play after backing up and using the camera (who knew? not the attendant) .

I have a video and photographic evidence that the damage was preexisting. Despite showing him and his manager the said the car had to be sent for analysis. I feel like I was taken advantage of in a foreign country. Very disappointed in the service. Typically I contact the rental agency directly to avoid this problem.

If you rent a car from this firm, take the time to hand wipe or wash any visible dirt from traveling around the island.
