Cons: Paying twice for insurance. No GPS, even though I was told there was one charging, I offered to pick it up later or charge in car. The pick up was not at airport as booking suggested, had to wait to be shuttled a few minutes away.

Cons: Not present at airport, windscreen not clean from inside and having to pay a hefty deposit even though we were insured properly

Cons: Communication was the worst I've ever experienced. When we had a problem with the car the roadside assistance number that we called didn't even answer, and Way2Azores staff didn't care at all. Weren't at drop off spot at specified time and we almost missed our flight but were still charged 20 euro for this...

Cons: Had to replace a tire for a charged 560 euros. Tire pressure warning on the moniitor, staff unable to remove. So we drove for 2 weeks not knowing what would happen. Was told by staff it was the make of the car.

Pros: I was scammed and cheated by your company. Your agent hid crucial information from me and I was made to pay €190 for a flat tire. He misled me on purpose. I always buy full coverage on rental cars to cover all costs. Your agent didn’t disclose that option. He told me the €35 coverage only covered gasoline deposit. And so I picked the €25 coverage that didn’t cover the tires. I’m very disappointed with your company for doing this scam. I will dispute this €190 charge. You should return €160 to me

Cons: They found a solution for my credit card problem

Cons: When arriving at the airport for pick up you need to call them and it is not clear where the representative will arrive. Can improve the instructions

Pros: Rental agents were extremely helpful and made the check-in/out process very quick and efficient.

Cons: The van that picks you up at the airport should have a "Way2Azores" sign on the side. There are several rental vans that pick up at the same location and it can be confusing on which one to go to.

Pros: The shuttle service and access to the rental place was easy and convenient.

Cons: I didn't like that I was asked to get another full rental coverage on top of the full rental coverage from DiscoverCars. Either DiscoverCars should rely on Way2Azores to offer rental insurance, or Way2Azores should not push for their insurance if there is already rental insurance on the reservation.

Cons: We incurred some small damage to the car and Way2Azores charged us a lot of money, claiming that a small scrape was a deep scratch.

Cons: They we're not able to accept credit Card payment!!! Everywhere else on the island credit Card payments went very smooth. We are convinced way2azores is scam realy thieves. The people before us had the same bad experience.

Cons: Due to change in ny flight schedule which I notified you I arrived 3 hours before the schedule time that was 10:00 am. The rental angency charged me 35 euro for the early pick up which didn’t exceed the days that the car was rented for. I checked on your website and the rate is the same for the original schedule and the revised schedule. I am expecting to get this charge back as a refund. Thank you B.T.W the car was returned 2 hours before schedule. Do I get a refund for this.

Cons: They charged me a full day for dropping the car at 6 PM instead of 12 when in fact I took the car also at 6pm

Cons: The car service was really good and comfortable. But they promise us a ride to the town centre after we returned the car and at the moment they said that it was impossible. So we had to take a taxi that we didn't count with. We meet with another couple later that day and they told us that you guys gave them a ride the same day as we returned the car at the same moment that we were there. That's why the score is not higher.

Pros: The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The car engine was in great condition, we went all around the island and only filled the gas tank once.

Cons: The lease agreement of the car was provided to me only after I returned the car, they offered more than once the full coverage insurance even though I said I had bought it through Discover cars, after two weeks I am still waiting on the deposit to be released from my credit card.

Cons: The way they handle your full coverage and made me buy an expensive full coverage, because of creditcard conditions. Please advice customers to check their creditcard limits and conditions before picking up the car

Pros: They throughly inspected the car, took photos and recommended we did too, they did look very closely for damage but they were open and honest

Cons: Significantly more expensive then renting on mainland Portugal but as our first time not sure if this is normal

Cons: More clear instructions on where meet the van to get to pick up location. Also, I didn’t have cell service so I had to find a stranger to call. Not having cell service, it was really hard to find the location to return. I suggest putting a clear map in the glove box of every car.

Cons: The pick up place is mentioned as airport meet and greet. You actually need to call them upon arrival, get to the airport parking lot, wait for a car to pick you up. Once we were there we showed the papers, the confirmation of full insurance coverage by discovercars. They ask us for a credit card for a deposit as the insurance was external. I don’t have a credit card. They told us we can get a refund from DiscoverCars but we actually can’t after pick up.

Pros: Nice clean car...Fiat panda hybrid. Great for maneuvering up and down the hills and valleys. 1400km and 2 tanks of gas. Pretty good I think considering the difficult driving. Getting the vehicle should have been easy....a quick phone call to pick us up as they are not directly in the airport, however, the seem to go under numerous names so we missed the driver picking people up several times. The main company name would be Way2Azores. Drop off at airport after return good. Would recommend

Cons: Pick up needs to be improved. Missed a couple of vans taking us to site as the main name seems to be Rent2Azores, however, we booked under Discover cars and we were dropped off at Ace car rental. Needed to make a couple of calls to sort out. Would use again.

Cons: Rental process was VERY misleading on DiscoverCars! I specifically choose to have a rental pick up & and drop off at the airport - but this was not the case. We had to call the rental company - which we COULD NOT do with foreign phones. Finally, a stranger at the airport help us call and the rental company said they would come pick us up and drive us to our car. The whole issue took 2 hrs, so we missed check in at the hotel & any chance to eat dinner. I don't think Way2Azores is to blame.

Pros: Friendly and thorough staff and the car was very clean when received.

Cons: GPS unit was absolutely useless. It sent me on a route down one-way streets in the wrong direction and thought that all overpasses and bridges were on the same level as the main highway. Distance ETAs for exits were incorrect and it told me to turn on roads that did not exist.

Pros: Great team but better signage needed for location of pickup.

Cons: Have to pay for airport transport although it states they are at the airport, which they are not.
