DiscoverCars.com has been in the Top 30 in 2026 Inspiring Workplaces Awards in Europe

DiscoverCars.com is proud to announce being number 27 in the Inspiring Workplaces Europe 2026. This is a truly remarkable achievement for our corporate culture.

This comes after we were previously named a European Inspiring Workplaces finalist.

About the awards

The Inspiring Workplaces Awards honors organizations that put their people first, creating cultures of trust, purpose and belonging. More than just a great place to work, these workplaces empower individuals to thrive.

The Inspiring Workplaces Awards is a part of the Inspiring Workplaces Group - a global organization dedicated to recognizing and advancing cultures where it all starts with employees, and building an inspiring atmosphere means building success.

The Inspiring Workplaces Awards was established in 2015 to honor excellence in culture, leadership, wellbeing, inclusion and employee experience. The program operates across all regions, including North America, UK & Ireland, Europe, and Asia-Pacific — bringing the importance of a quality workplace to global attention.

The process

The system is very clear and starts with a company’s submission, which is later sent to a local panel of independent expert judges for evaluation. The judging process is based on a scoring system judged by a panel. From the shortlisted finalists, the highest-ranked organizations were announced as Inspiring Workplaces winners at the gala dinner.

Entrants around the world submit the same entry form telling their ‘people-first’ story. The form consists of six key elements that are fundamental to creating an exceptional culture, according to the Inspiring Workplaces. These elements are: Culture and Purpose; Leadership; Wellbeing; Inclusion & Belonging; Employee Voice; and Employee Experience.

What makes this achievement special

We build a culture that inspires us, we are building a story we are ready to share with the world. It’s our first storytelling about our workplace culture. And we are incredibly proud that the judges of the Inspiring Workplaces Europe recognized the hard work we have put in building our culture over the past 13 years.

This achievement comes after we were awarded in the Best Places to Work 2026 by the Business Intelligence Group — an award purely based on employee survey. Altogether, it shows different angles of the DiscoverCars.com story.

Together, we live by and practice continuous learning, teamwork, empathy, open-mindedness and creativity — on a daily basis — while creating incredibly useful products for travelers.

If you want to grow, then you need to learn. From the company's vision to the management, team leaders and every employee, DiscoverCars.com encourages people to grow personally and professionally by gaining new skills and encouraging other colleagues while maintaining a comfortable work-life balance. To officially put the importance of comfortable learning, the company offers 8 hours of paid self-development time per month after completing probation. It clearly enough proves that management believes that growth of our employees is the main driver of our company’s progress.

Teamwork and empathy go together. We make sure to take care of each other, each and every day. We believe that celebrating special occasions of others and enjoying downtime with colleagues leads to a thriving environment for collaboration. Summer and winter events, team-buildings (for example, masterclasses of their choice), sports games — these and more build a stable base for a strong team that thrives on achieving results and going towards the big goal.

At the same time, we highly cherish creativity. DiscoverCars.com seeks to build a market-leading product, which cannot be done by leaving creativity and open-mindedness behind. New ideas are highly valued at the company, and there is even an internal Ideas Market channel where one can easily share their ideas. We’ve spent years honing our product, and it’s paid off — we’ve been included in the Financial Times list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for four out of the past seven years in a row now, and became the leading standalone car rental comparison website globally according to SimilarWeb data for February 2026. All this proves that we know how to take ideas and put them to good use.

There are people hailing from more than 40 nationalities working at the company at the moment of this announcement, which is a great number for an entity of 250+ employees in total. Different people from different parts of the world, people of various cultures, and yet DiscoverCars.com has managed to connect its employees through its own culture, thanks to our clear values and enjoyable environment.

What comes next

Being named in the top 30 is a huge accomplishment for us. We aim to continue building a company culture that nurtures creativity and growth, and above all, inspires our employees to make DiscoverCars.com the most transparent car rental comparison booking website in the world.
