DiscoverCars.com Wins Excellence in Customer Service Award For the Third Year in a Row

DiscoverCars.com is proud to have been awarded the Business Intelligence Group's Excellence in Customer Service Award once again in 2026. This award is given to organizations that "are setting the standard for building trust and loyalty with their customers."

At DiscoverCars.com, we aim to build a product that we can recommend our closest friends and family use, and that starts with providing best-in-class customer service.

We were also winners in the group's BIG Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award and Best Places to Work earlier in the year
About the award
BIG's Excellence in Customer Service recognizes organizations that deliver measurable, human-centered customer experiences in an age where things move fast. The awards are about those supporting their customers with empathy and also developing new tools, particularly leveraging AI, to help customers more quickly and better.

The awards have been handed out yearly since 2019.
Selection criterea
The Excellence in Customer Service Awards are judged by an expert panel of professionals for large companies across industries.

The judging panel provides detailed scoring and transparent feedback, honoring those who demonstrate that exceptional customer service is a measurable, repeatable, and commercially significant discipline.

The awards name both the organization and individuals of the year, as well as finalists.
Manager of the Year: Frederico Lopes
We're also extremely proud that our Head of Customer Service, Frederico Lopes, was recognized as the Manager of the Year (Individual) in the 2026 Excellence in Customer Service Awards.

Frederico has been with the company for 12 out of its 13 years. He single-handedly built the Customer Service team, leading it for the entire time he's been with the company. From starting with just a handful of agents to now leading a team of 100+ agents, Frederico has made sure that each and every one of them focuses on providing the best possible customer service they can to our customers. Without his leadership, we wouldn't have grown to be the number one car rental comparison booking website.
What makes this award special
We've won numerous other awards, but winning this award has been the highlight of the year for us over the past three years. Our customer service is the most important part of our company.

We are ecstatic every time we get a positive review from a customer. But to have an independent panel of expert judges recognize the hard work that our 100+ customer service agents put in to serve customers around the world 24/7 in many different languages is even more special.

This recognition means we are succeeding in our main focus, to be a car rental comparison and booking website that is built on trust and provides excellent customer service. And we've managed to make continuous improvements to remain at a high standard. Our customer service leadership has established a culture that puts the customer first, which drives our company's success.
