Standard Fiji trip. 4 nights near Port Denarau with a huge selection of reasonably priced waterfront restaurants with live bands playing. Did two Island Day Trips - South Sea Island seemed the best value. Then spent 6 nights at Korotoga 80m walk from the water. Easy snorkelling, plenty of small fish, coral and visibility got better further out. (Best snorkelling 2 hours either side of high tide). Spent 1/2 day at Natadola beach - body surfing and boogie boarding. Best at low tide. Visited nice beach with pier about 20 minutes east of Korotoga.

Having the vehicle meant we could venture further a field, Sleeping Giant Gardens, Momi Battery historic park, Bulaccino, Corner Cafe by Jacks. Port Denarau, Bula Water Park, Wailoaloa beach. All places we would visit again.

Beach Bar and Grill near Outrigger is the best place to eat if you like amazing steaks and seafood. Try the fish dish served in a coconut. A+++

Takes longer to drive to most places. Walking to a waterfall for a refreshing swim was lovely. Too many kava ceremonies. Our boat tour to some islands was cancelled. They were expecting unsettled weather conditions.
Nice beaches and swimming on the Coral Coast. Need to come back and visit some other islands! Friendly people.

Nadi - Locals are always friendly. Denarau and Naisoso were great spots even to just sight see. I'd avoid bigger restaurants and eat as locals do with vendors and smaller establishments.

Drove from Nadi to the Coral Coast twice and a few other trips where we needed a car. The roads were no issue only a few potholes but that's everywhere now. There wasn't many road rules however if you drive at your own pace then you'll be fine.

It was wonderful exploring Nadi island. Unfortunately I got a virus (from the plane ride I believe) so it limited my adventuring. However, my family ziplined and enjoyed it. We also visited Natadola beach, Nadi Market and The Garden of the Sleeping Giant. The highlight for our group was taking a day trip to Malamala Beach Club where we snorkeled, kayaked, and swam in the ocean and in the infinity pools. We rented the cabanas which were well worth the extra expense. A couple of us get sea sick so we enjoyed this trip because the boat ride was about 30 minutes and was relatively smooth.

Really liked Kula wild adventure park, holding the snake and lizard, my daughter enjoyed feeding the turtles .Also found the Tavuni Hill Fort , very interesting and informative, and the fresh coconuts one of the village boys got for all was a very hot day .Tivua Island , with Captain Cook Cruises was an excellent day out too .
