After announcing that DiscoverCars.com became the most visited car rental comparison and booking website in the world in February 2026, we're again excited to share that we remained #1 in March 2026.
According to Similarweb data, DiscoverCars.com had 3.5M monthly visits in March 2026, up from 3.2M the previous month. RentalCars.com, the second-place website, had 3.2M visits. meaning we are ahead by around 10%. This marks the first time in our 12-year history that we have led the category for two full months.
Twelve years ago, DiscoverCars.com was founded as an independent company with a clear objective: to make the car rental booking experience simpler, more transparent, easier to compare and more accessible for travelers worldwide. RentalCars.com was founded 22 years ago and is now part of Booking Holdings, one of the largest travel groups in the world. Remaining at the top position while competing against a brand backed by one of the world’s largest travel companies makes this milestone especially meaningful for our partners and us.
