We loved having a van that accommodated all 9 of our family members. They went out of the way to give us a van with larger storage space for luggage, this was a definite help for us. We toured all of Sicily and stopped for overnight stays in 5 different areas of the island. The biggest issue we had was when we accidentally went down very tight streets in some of the older city centers. It was difficult to know how narrow the streets were in front of us.

It was our first time in Sicily. Our main reason for coming was to meet some long lost family in Castelvetrano where we also visited the greek temples. We went to Palerme a couple of times where we visited the catacombes and the cathedral, Cefalu, Erice and Etna. Our morning and evening meals were taken in the hotel Sarcacen on Isola delle femine. For lunch, we snacked on stuff from markets, arancini and pizzas
