Once you have collected your luggage and just before exiting the terminal, go left to exit gates 5-6, located in front of check-in counters 48-52 and go outside. When you are outside the terminal, continue straight on to the Public Parking (P1) and look for row B6 next to the meeting point, there you will find our staff waiting for you next to a red vehicle with the Canarias.com logo. If you require assistance call (+34) 669 767 556 or (+34) 922 714 298.The return of the vehicle will be made at the South Airport easily and without waiting. Representative will explain in detail the instructions on the day of delivery of the vehicle.

Pros: Fast pick-up and fast drop off. Car was also clean.

Cons: We rent Seat but we got some chinese car with questionable brakes. When you brake down the hill, the brakes loudly wobble and car was shaking. The spot where you pick up car was hard to find - the instruction was some little paragraph in mail with tiny font.

Cons: I didn't expect our car to have so little power - it barely climbed some of the hills, and I had to use the 2nd and 3rd gear A LOT. I even had to use the 1st gear once as it couldn't make it on 2nd; for a moment I was afraid the car is not going to make it up that one hill at all (it was en route to Las Vegas). I've never driven a car with so little power before though so I can't say if it's due to car specification or the weak condition of that particular car.

Cons: Difficult to find the rental location. Not a proper location. Operates out of a car, in the dark. Impossible to check car at night. Returned car to public parking lot. Nobody on duty. Nobody to take keys, check car condition, check fuel level. Had to throw keys into the backseat of a car that acts as an office in the public parking lot. Total lack of confidence for a renter (me). First attempted to return car to rental car park but eventually realized the 'office' is a car in the public parking

Cons: Canarias "counter" hard to find - in the middle of a car park & not signposted from terminal. Not actually a counter at all - the Canarias employees (owners?) operated out of the boot of a parked car. Didn't inspire confidence - but proved perfectly fine.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, ID card, booking voucher, flight information, boarding pass.
Deposit and deductible policy

Young drivers are subject to a higher deductible/excess.
Cross-border policy
Moving the car from one island to another is forbidden.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 90 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
