Pros: Quick and efficient.

Cons: Car windscreen washers didn't work, front or back windows (same reservoir??) ( minor fault, Parcel shelf cover hangers broken)

Pros: Quick collection with no forced upselling of insurance that wasn't required.

Pros: Mostly things were clear and in order.

Cons: They were asking people to provide a receipt of fuel within 10km of the city - but this was not clear from the start.

Pros: Collection and drop off well signposted

Cons: Despite Paying Discover for the full cover we where advised we still needed to take additional cover for Breakdown/recovery etc at 250 euros which we respectfully declined. Rear screen wiper defective i.e. half hanging out of carrier after first time of use.

Cons: Pushing excess insurance on me and telling me the consequences. I have an annual excess insurance policy. Car was a bit battered about with lots of superficial damage that I'm glad I videoed root to driving off. I don't mind a car with a lot of damage, you can't expect a brand new car each time but it's a pain documenting the damage before driving off.

Pros: Reception staff were very helpful and dealing with the paperwork was efficient. Signage on return was clear.

Cons: Returning the car up some very narrow up ramps to the third floor of the car park. No paperwork (or email) after returning car, all done an a pad and verbally told everything was okay. I guess that's going to be the future standard as everyone tries to go paperless.

Cons: The insurance offered was very expensive. €124 for four days. I have my own annual policy so I didn't require it. The annual gold policy I have is a third of the price.

Cons: Assistance behind counter not very professional, more in cline to push extra insurance on to you when you already have adequate insurance in place, speaking in there own language while dealing with you , after finding a dent in the car when documents signed in office said there was none and wouldn’t even get up and have a look saying everything was fine and laughing with other assistance in office speaking own language again, plus on refuelling car gauge on car was faulty would say it was full

Cons: Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to extend our stay. However, we had to return the first car to Alicante airport. Separately renew hire and contract. Therefore, we returned the first car at midday as we had an appointment in El Campello however, the counter staff point blank refused to authorise another car until after 14:30! Therefore, we had to cancel and rearrange the appointment thus hang around at the airport until we were allowed to hire another car. Very inconvenient!

Pros: It went really well, we bought there own insurance as it means you don’t have to spend an hour checking the vehicle at pick up and drop off. All was quick.

Pros: Car was modern, in fact brand new

Cons: Although the car was brand new and clean, the interior glass was very cloudy, very difficult to see at night with oncoming headlight glear

Pros: Lots of scratches and marks - not all weee recorded by RecordGo, but thankfully I took photographs of them all.

Cons: I had an issue with our first hire car (MG). There was an issue with the tyre and I was charged €100 for a puncture. There was no puncture on the car. It was another fault that was the issue. I was a little annoyed at having to pay for something that wasn’t there.

Pros: They provided the right size of car and it was clean inside.

Cons: Car had loads of small dents and scratches. Many were not recorded on the pick up sheet. I tried to take pictures of them all but they were too numerous and many would not show up in photos due to dim lighting in the car park. At drop off RecordGo used a bright light to exam the car and found a light scratch (will polish out) that couldn't be seen in my photos. I was charged almost 400 Euros for this. I was told that my car was "targeted" because I had not taken out their CDW insurance.

Cons: Fuel deposit is done on a separate transaction and the amount refunded is £5 less than the amount paid so this policy is not transparent. I would recommned Discover as search engine but would not recommend Record

They didn't pay back the fuel deposit. - contact with record-go is almost impossible. Their support didn't reply to my questions - I lost 108 EURO (booking value 136 EURO) - the car which I received had broken engine

Cons: The car this time was very old for a rental car it had over 56,000 kilometres on the clock. The battery in the key fob didn’t work so we had to lock & unlock the car each time with the key. Funny how quickly you forget we always had to do that!!!

The drop off office was also supposed to be open until 10pm but wasn't open at this time.Happy with Discovercars but will defnitely not use record-go again.
