Pros: Very prompt, very helpful, understanding and flexible. A pleasure to work with

Cons: Car seemed quite worn including a rear window that did not work. The pick up was a bit confusing once we got out of the airport. The pick up area was very conveniently located.

Pros: Very inexpensive.

Cons: The car backup camera was damaged an unusable. I felt this made things slightly less safe.

Pros: Rápido, eficiente e carro em ótimas condições

Pros: Friendly, helpful people.

Pros: Stayed open for after hours pickup due to flight delay and had much shorter line than the other rental company who stayed open late

Cons: After hours pickup due to flight delay was an additional $40 euros (almost 50% of total rental cost for the car)

Pros: Új autót kaptunk.

Cons: Nem volt ilyen

Pros: Customer service

Cons: All good

Pros: Efficient pick up. No hard upselling. No hassle.

Cons: Wasn’t told how to exit gate in parking lot at Aeroporto João Paulo II in Ponta Delgada

Pros: Quick and easy. Explained things well

Pros: Everything went quick and smooth. It was great value for money compared to other companies I checked. The car was great and had additional functions (parking sensors, well-working A/C, Bluetooth connection), which I did not expect at that price.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.

Pros: Will definitely use again and recommend to others

Cons: Nothing....everything was excellent.

Pros: Good and cprrect

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Everything was ok. But money from my card are not yet returned.

Pros: Your staff at all positions were friendly and easy to talk to.

Cons: N/a

Cons: Perfect car for our trip. Car was clean and gazoline at full. Agents were kind and helpful. Great place

Pros: Great car, pick up right next to terminal.

Pros: on site, nice staff

Cons: long line up at desk, not enough staff for peak time, people doing returns should not have to wait behind people picking up cars.

Pros: Fast & easy

Cons: None

Pros: They are located right at the airport.

Cons: I did not like having to pay everything up front and to give a huge deposit. The car was not ready on time we had to wait 30 minutes standing up in the parking lot. The agent was not very friendly at the pickup but the agent was nicer at the dropoff.

Pros: Body damage from previous rentals. Didn’t affect anything about the car tho

Pros: office and car directly in one place on airport

Pros: Reasonable price for new luxury car.

Cons: The car was completely dirty. The seat-back pockets were full of garbage and crumbs. Windshield was covered with dust from the inside.

Pros: Car was lost at pick up and they wouldn’t switch to another vehicle- waited over 40 minutes for them to find the car. Car was all dented and scratched from accidents .

Cons: Agents were rude once I asked for the car to be changed to another one once they couldn’t find it- basically said it’s that car or none

Pros: Very good service, they accepted debit cards and the deposit was released the same day of the drop off!

Cons: Nothing in particular

Pros: Reliable car. In terminal pick up

Cons: Pick up and return were a little slow. Tires were worn. Car was loud.

Pros: It goes fast.

Pros: The eficiente

Pros: The car was clean but I think the car was not in the best mechanical condition (the engine did not sound very good). However, the car worked fine during the rental period (8 days) and we did not have any issues with Autatlantis at drop off.

Cons: I wish the car was newer. Still, the Citroen C3 had all the needed features and even some that I did not expect.

Pros: Great service

Cons: The pick up agent didn't take proper care of the client

Pros: Friendly staff at the airport kiosk; convenient working hours for early return.

Pros: Based on reviews and my recent experience, I would say they were extremely thorough and professional ... I felt that they could be trusted. Desk agent and lot attendant took the time to make sure we were satisfied and were informed.

Cons: You need to be diligent on inspecting your rental car at pick-up and to point out all blemishes and concerns ... Autalantis will thoroughly review you car in and out at pick up. We took photos and wanted every blemish noted. We had no issues when returning the car. They take care of their cars.

Pros: Lines went fairly quickly at Ponte Delgado.

Cons: Car was dented up in various places.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: All was perfect and smooth process

Pros: Close to home and was easy to switch drop off location.

Cons: Customer service. I was supposed to drop off the car by 9:30 AM and here I am as I’m writing this review waiting still and it’s 9:45 AM as the person is still driving to work.

Pros: A rapidez, eficácia e qualidade

Cons: When I brought back the car, they told me they found damage on the car. It turned out to be a scratch on one of the tire rims , about 1cm in length and maybe 2mm in width, something that was so negligible that it could have been there when we picked it up and even if it wasn't, it was incredibly small, practically unnoticeable and negligible in my opinion. They still put together a report, and made me sign it, saying I would have to pay for it. I'm 58 years old, never seen anything like it.

Pros: Very reasonable price and friendly airport agents

Cons: When you return the car to the car park you take a slip of paper on to the desk which I have never had to do before. There must have been 20 people on line to collect a car but they did have a shorter line for returns. Given that they don't need to see your car's you uses for the deposit it seems unnecessary assuming no damage is done to the car and would apees up the process for those picking up if the car park attendant simply collected the slips and a back office agent handled the credit card

Pros: Servizio gentile e professionale, auto come da prenotazione. Esperienza positiva, parcheggio a 1 min a piedi dall’areoporto.

Cons: Lunga coda per il ritiro

Pros: Communication on pickup and dropoff was smooth, fast clear and exellent, no forced sales of extra insurance etc.

Pros: Nice little car

Cons: Agent tried to rip us off when returning the car. It was barely used. He falsely tried to claim thete was a problem with a tire. Made us late for our check in and upset me. Also should have an email for contact from Toronto, not just a Portugal number. We wanted to cancel the extra insurance and report our flight delay. Caused much unecessary stress. Please credit us back the cost of the extra insurance as our credit card company covered it.

Pros: Car was value for the price and was in excellent condition. Didn't like the fact that the insurance purchased didn't/doesn't cover the claimed defect without me personally having to deal with the insurance company instead of the insurance just handling the cost. Would not recommend this provider to others looking to rent a vehicle.

Cons: The agent took far to long to complete the paperwork for picking up the vehicle (some problem with the electronics working together. The inspector for the return of the car seemed to already know where that nearly literally invisible ding was. Even though I purchased the maximum insurance offered, I still had to make an $1800 deposit. And when I returned the vehicle and they said there was some defect, it turns out they determine on their own the cost of the "repair", deduct it from the depos

Pros: Handing over the car with 7/8 th of a tank is really ridiculous. Expecting customers to guestimate the same is also ridiculous. Your team are exceptional and we will use you again

Pros: they were nice at the counter and was quick to get me to my car

Pros: Friendly, patient, and efficient staff, both in person and on the phone. Good pricing. Good selection of cars. Gas discount card.

Cons: Consider cleaning the upholstery after the hot summer season of sweaty occupants.

Pros: Very efficient customer service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The service is friendly and professional.

Pros: Easy and car rental possible in all islands.

Cons: During first pickup of the car wrong misleading information provided by the agent. At one pick up the agent was extremly slow. Another pick up in Terceira at the marina was not possible. It took us one hour to be picjed up by the the staff and to get the car at the airport. Website of Autatlantis should be updated accordingly.

Pros: Very nice and efficient women at the desk. They helped and answered questions.

Pros: Fast and efficient

Pros: Profesional , eficiency and fast serviece.

Cons: Profesional , eficiency and fast serviece.

Pros: The reps were all very nice

Cons: We were ready at 9, but reservation wasn’t until 10. wouldn’t let us get car early and then when it was time, we had to wait for the car because it wasn’t there. Total time to get the car 2+ hours. Windscreen very dirty inside.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing to report

Pros: Friendly and efficient service. Easy pick up and return. Car in great condition.

Pros: Friendly and went over the car with us and instructed us to take pictures for our own reference.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Flexibility. We asked to extend our lease by a few hours to allow us to have a final visit at one of our favourite sites before our flight back home. They agreed to our request which made our last day at Sao Miguel very special and enjoyable. Thank you.

Cons: Car was dented and scratched all over upon pickup and tried to claim we did some of it when we returned the car. Also the provided car seat was horrendous and in poor condition.

Cons: Hidden charges and fake reports on car damage!

Pros: fast service

Pros: Quick service and went over all terms and conditions

Cons: Nothing at this moment

Pros: Overall very happy with Autoatlantis. Representatives were friendly and helpful. No bogus charges.

Pros: Quick, easy, efficient. Ability to rent an automatic. Got the car advertised.

Cons: A bit pricey.

Pros: Return of the car was perfect

Cons: old car ( 33K) with too many scratches and dents

Pros: Quick and easy pickup and drop-off, friendly and provided the necessary information.

Cons: No comments

Pros: Excellent customer service and very high standard

Pros: The online check-in

Cons: The long lines at pick up and drop off. They did not inform me of the fact that the car was not provided with the parking assistance facility or that this essential tool was not working. The result is that I had to pay for a light but expensive damage caused while parking

Pros: Все было быстро и качественно

Pros: Efficiency

Cons: None

Pros: Everyone was polite and efficient.

Cons: When told where to return the car he didn't specifically say "under the lights" so I parked next to it (as there was a car there). As a result another car pulled in and got ahead of me. It's no big deal, I wasn't running late or anything, just having more specific directions (or signs) would have been nice.

Pros: The 34 euro fee for having the gas level a fraction below full is just your company ripping off travelers. The $1800 hold charge was excessive and having to go back to the desk to have that processed was unnecessary , tedious and annoying. I would not use you again. I have choices!

Cons: The ladies at the desk were nice.

Pros: Pleasant, kind, helpful representatives!

Cons: Check-in is slower than it should be , like all rental car companies!

Pros: Amabilidade dos funcionários. Correu tudo muito bem.

Cons: Nada

Pros: Toyota aygo X was perfect

Pros: They were very honest, clear and they did not charge us more money for extra things hidden in the contract (like other rental companies would do). We were so happy with Autatlantis and we really strongly recommend it to anyone staying in the Azores.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Pros: The customer service agent and the car attendant were both very professional and very attentive.

Cons: There was a long line of customers trying to get their car rental. It took about 45 minutes for us to get to an agent since there were only 2 of them and most of the customers have a lot of questions henceforth, the long wait.

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff.

Cons: Nothing negative to point out.

Pros: Quick and efficient! Reimbursed the deposit upon car return after verification. Would recommend!

Cons: Car struggled a little bit in Sao Miguel mountain!

Pros: It was fast and easy.

Cons: Car was already pretty damaged outside from past renters.

Pros: All staff provided excellent service and the vehicle was perfect for the two of us.

Pros: Competent and efficient.

Cons: Nothing negative.

Pros: Friendly and efficient!

Cons: Nothing

Pros: very polite and nice workers. It was a very easy process

Pros: The staff was very courteous.

Cons: The wait in line is excessive.

Pros: Very professional and well organized.

Cons: Overall great experience.

Pros: People and everything was great

Pros: Close to Arrivals

Cons: Gave us a very large vehicle and said it was an upgrade which we did not want. No other vehicles available. Roads can be very narrow. Had difficulty using Apple Play and attendant tried but could not help us. We wanted to change car next day as we are familiar with Google Maps and MapQuest and did not want to have to learn another system. Next day we discovered there is a delay of 2 minutes using Apple Play after backing up and using the camera (who knew? not the attendant) .

Pros: Great prices on rentals

Cons: High security deposit.

Pros: Competent crew, no unnecessary waiting. I liked the possibility of using a single deposit for multiple rentals from island to island.

Pros: the people were nice and very helpful

Cons: the car that was provided was not full and had a lot of bumps and scratches.

Pros: Honest, no upsell, easy process

Pros: Agents were friendly and efficient

Pros: Services is startina at 5 morning. Car was clear.

Pros: Friendly and fast service

Cons: Everythung was good

Pros: The deposit was returned 5 minutes after we returned the car.

Pros: They were very efficient on the pick up and drop off of our car.

Cons: Brought back almost full but was charged quite a bit of money because not completely full.

Pros: Fast and easy to understand.

Cons: A bit more expensive than other carriers. Required large 1700 EUR hold on the credit card but it was removed when I returned the car.

Pros: The check in desk at the airport was easy to find

Cons: The car was in horrible condition. Not worth the money, scratches and dents everywhere. When returning the car the representative jorge rapso stated that I caused tire damage. I have a video and photographic evidence that the damage was preexisting. Despite showing him and his manager the said the car had to be sent for analysis. I feel like I was taken advantage of in a foreign country. Very disappointed in the service. Typically I contact the rental agency directly to avoid this problem.

Pros: Very easy process on an otherwise stressful travel day

Pros: We were able to carry our initial deposit through to multiple islands.

Pros: Super friendly and helpful

Pros: Upgraded to automatic, like new vehicle

Pros: Everyone was kind and efficient. There were no problems or headaches.

Cons: The initial booking said that I needed to have an international driving permit, which ultimately wasn’t required by the desk agent, so it was a waste of time and money for me to get it.

Pros: Everything went smoothly, friendly staff, their parking spot in PDL is closest to the terminal

Cons: They're the most popular agency in PDL so the hire queue can be long when a large flight arrives (it wasn't terrible, maybe 10-15 minutes)

Pros: It was fast and just signed previous agreement.

Pros: The car

Cons: The employees

Pros: Best car rental experience I’ve had. Agent at desk was very nice, didn’t try to upsell us, was honest and helpful with giving us flexible return time Car itself had a few scratches and small dents But the agent did a really thorough job of finding and recording all of them (even found some we had missed) The return process was also smooth and everyone was really nice. Convenient location at airport

Cons: NA

Pros: Great service knowledgeable representative at the pick up and drop off. Quick service, flexibility of agent upon drop off and time adjustment. Would highly recommend the agency for car rental!

Cons: Everything was very satisfactory.

Pros: Cordial and efficient staff, love the car we got.

Cons: Nothing really, great experience with this company.

Pros: Very smooth and efficient process, easy to find the desk, and car was ready and waiting for us.

Cons: Car had an alert to say needed oil check (only realised once we were able to translate to English) so phoned support and were told not to worry - would have been better if this wasn’t on our mind for the week.

Pros: dobil sem popolnoma novo vozilo

Cons: lahko bi avto opremili s predpražniki

Pros: El personal es muy amable y eficaz

Cons: Nada

Pros: They arranged to bring in car 3 hours before set time as I had miscalculated arrival time

Cons: Cost of car at time of booking was more expensive than 5 months later, just before the trip (but automatic cars were not guaranteed anymore)

Pros: Smooth, easy pick up process. No issues with the car.

Cons: No email confirmation of the order, having to rely on screenshots and hoping they had my name on their records. I was also charged more than originally quoted (+10%), which I have no way of disputing other than a screenshot of my original order as there is no email confirmation.

Pros: Problem free and reliable vehicle

Pros: Average

Cons: Car had has so many dents and scraches

Pros: Nice people

Cons: Long line as there is too much paperwork.

Pros: Brand new car, clean and sufficient enough for a pair od travellers.

Cons: Waiting over an hour and half when picking up the car.

Pros: "Charlie's Angels" at the front desk had a cheerful attitude despite an obviously long day.

Cons: At the point of returning the car, the agent charged a 35 Euro 'extraordinary dirt' fee for a bit of dirt on the side panels of the vehicle. We were told we had no choice but to pay it despite disagreeing with the assessment. I'd be wary of the honesty and business practices of this rental agency. See photos. If you rent a car from this firm, take the time to hand wipe or wash any visible dirt from traveling around the island.

Pros: The assistance of the staff made renting in a foreign country as easy as I would have hoped it could be.

Cons: I personally had difficulty accessing the drop off lot at the Ponta Delgada airport, but the signs were slightly confusing (especially at 5:00). Any additional written tips about particular locations is always a plus to me.

Pros: Relatively simple process. Understaffed at the check in desk created long lines but we had our documents ready and things went quickly once we got to the desk.

Cons: No windshield washer fluid in the car - return was delayed a bit while they questioned a scuff that was on the car when we picked it up. To their credit, they found a photo of the car condition before our rental with the scuff and quickly apologized and sent us on our way.

Pros: Incredibly slow check in process have you ever thought about using those new dangled computer

Cons: So slow check in took 20 minutes to process

Pros: Excellent service, great price.

Cons: Friendly staff

Pros: They were accommodating, explained everything well, very nice, helped me extend how long I had the car without extra fees.

Cons: Cannot think of anything.

Pros: The service, the staff, very good!

Cons: All good!

Pros: Friendly, well-trained staff. Everything explained well.

Cons: Fuel tank was not filled up when I picked up the car yet I was asked to return it full which I did.

Pros: Ok, easy, no burocracy.

Pros: Delivered what they had promised.

Pros: Very poorly!!!!!

Pros: Very thorough in checking the car before departure with a phone light as it was dark. Tank was full.Car was a fairly new Citroen C3, 4 door manual.Fit medium size and carryon in the trunk, Back packs in the rear. Comfortable size for 2, with only carryon luggage, packs ok for 3. It drove well, handled the steep winding interior island roads. We returned the car with interior clean, tank full and exterior quite dirty from Sao Miguel rain and mud.

Pros: Quick and friendly service. Had the car ready for us. Quick return. No hustle!

Pros: Easy to find, good value for money.

Cons: Long and rather slow queue in the airport terminal.

Pros: Good service

Cons: They take too much time to give the car.

Pros: Good and efficient but higher mileage car

Cons: Very good😃

Pros: Good service

Cons: Baby chair was very basic

Pros: Fast and helpfull ! Very friendly and they even waited for my plane who was a but delayed

Pros: they met my expectations for dealing with a car rental desk. The car had 4 wheels and a working engine.

Cons: the car had high mileage for a rental (>70,000 km), the rear hatch latch was unreliable (wouldn't fully engage on several occasions, endangering the contents).

Pros: Good service from friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: That I was charged a mark-up fee. I traveled in Portugal for two months, using my credit card dozens of times and only this company charged an extra 3%.

Pros: Easy, quick and very friendly service. Polina made it amazing and helped us with our small reschedulling issue. Overall a great place to rent a car.

Cons: At pick up we had a small setback due to our request to extend our renting period. Everything was cleared out in no time.

Pros: Very kind staff. The missed some damage in the front of the car wich I had to tell them about. But they quickly wrote that dawn on the note.

Pros: Professional and efficient.

Cons: maleducati, ci hanno dato una chiave già rovinata ed hanno incolpato noi. fate le foto anche alle chiavi, non solo alla macchina.

Cons: Rear wheels hardly had tread on them. Noticed when it started to rain and car was sliding on road.

Pros: Drop off was quick

Cons: First car was broken. 1 hour to get a second car. Second car was not good (bad brakes, not clean...)

Pros: Easy process and Nice people

Cons: Time spent for drop off

Pros: Not much

Cons: Arrogant non service driven employee

Pros: Service was efficient and kind.

Cons: Very slow service and agents didn't seem very well trained.

Pros: Nice people, very nice car

Cons: They should have given instructions for the convertible (it was easy but not at 23:45 in the dark and after a 14 hour trip)

Pros: late night service

Cons: ---

Cons: Only one check in person for about ten people wasn’t to get to terminal

Pros: The employees were helpful and friendly. The car worked out very well for us.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Excellent service, courtesy and professionalism of all employees

Pros: The people were helpful and made the rental process easy.

Cons: None.

Pros: Nice staff and good price

Cons: Dropping off the car took long because there was a single queue at the airport desk: the same for picking up and just delivering drop off paper. Could be better organized on that sense.

Pros: Great service!

Cons: Quick a big deposit to be taken on credit card (1700E)

Pros: prompt and efficient.no time waiting

Pros: The desk was easy to find and the representatives were helpful.

Cons: there wasn't anyone at the parking lot to show us the car.

Pros: Easy to find and quick paperwork at the airport

Cons: The car was older than most cars I have hired in the past

Pros: Everything went great. Very happy with the service

Pros: The counter staff were very efficient and processed the rental very quickly.

Cons: It took me a while to find the counter as I was looking for a Discover Car rental sign. I would suggest a board listing the various rental companies serviced by Autatlantis be placed beside the counter that is visible to arriving clients.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Agents ready to help efficiently

Cons: The "hidden" extra charge for "airport pickup"
