Pros: The people at Yes Rentals were very helpful when I called for assistance when the car wouldn't start and we were in the middle of nowhere. The person I spoke to dealt with the situation in a calm manner and guided me through the steps to rectify the situation. That was truly appreciated.

This car had an odometer reading of about 150000 kms and the media system was as good as non existent. Speakers never worked and the system was ancient and was impossible to do anything with it. This vehicle lacked a proper music system—no Bluetooth, and even the USB connection didn't work. Our entire trip was disappointing as we were forced to play music through our phones. The customer service was also subpar, with staff who could barely communicate in English. I’m extremely dissatisfied and won’t be booking with them again.

Cons: We were going to go to Milford sound but felt unsafe in the car they chose us

Pros: Prices are better than other car rentals.

Cons: The front desk representatives are too snobbish. They dont even smile.. Especially the one who looks like Bolo Yeung… i dont know why is it bec they dont speak good english or what but nevertheless that shouldn’t be the case… the one who drives the shuttle are polite and friendly.

Pros: Didnt have to wait long filled in waiver online before pick up got keys paid deposit and on our way🤩

Cons: I was kept waiting on dropping off the car even though there was an available staff member behind the desk. The customer service is verging on being rude, this is predominantly a cultural issue , there is no deliberate action causing this.

Cons: Got another car than asked for. Cars condition was average, and not very clean. Could not reach reception by phone for pickup from airport. Was pressured into taking an expensive extra insurance by unfriendly staff.

Cons: Not so much as what I didn’t like. Just thought the cars could be more current.

Cons: The service wasn’t good, we had problems with the breaks on the car so had to drive all the way back to the place. Then it took them ages to get us another car and didn’t seem to believe us that there was actually a problem and weren’t very apologetic. They refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. We later found that they had given the car to other people without much further investigation (not very safe) and they also found issues with the breaks. We would not recommend.

Pros: Drop off easy

Cons: Too long for pickup, and lack of communication from rental staff.

Pros: After getting to airport on arrival they were fairly quick to pick up with shuttle bus to take to rental office. On departure they were also quick to take back to airport.

Cons: Lack of talking when pick up and dropping off of vehicle.

Pros: Car was dirty , windscreen inside was very dirty and car had a bad smell like it was wet , that I had to purchase a car air freshener and a can of odour remover
