Pros: car in good serviceable condition and clean. pickup in spacious vehicle for oversized luggage. however drop-off was a bit cramped as they used the rental car itself and we used the extra seat in the car for a cello and our own driver had to squeeze with the rear passenger.

Cons: they charged after hours pickupbof $50 nzd when transit flight was delayed. it was just 15 mins past their closing hours. they could have thrown in the pickup service as we already paid for early 5am drop-off and car return. also the delay was the fault of qantas airline and was not terribly beyond ezu operation hours. the flight delay was 3 hours.

Cons: There was no jack in boot so I asked the representative who kindly explained it was located under front seat. Later I checked this and it was there however the wheel brace and jack handle were missing which would have caused an issue in the case of a flat tyre.

Aftermarket electronics all Japanese, staff said "sorry some vehicles are in Japanese, nothing we can do to change that". Never used the radio, no idea how. Had inside of windscreen washed extra and using a damp small rag and 2 Kleenex tissues for the job did got the result you would expect, terrible.

Cons: Closer to the end of our trip one of the front tyres blew up at 100 km/h. We were lucky to escape this situation without any further troubles or injuries. The reason for that was completely worn-out tyres (see photos). We still wonder how it was possible to get WoF with tyres like that (WoF is due for commercial vehicles every six month). Should we additionally mention that windscreen washer was empty and we discovered that at the very inconvenient moment.

Pros: It was so easy to pick up and drop off, shuttle runs were quick and organised, and very competitive price. Everyone we dealt with was lovely. I also changed my booking short notice, which was easy to do and we really appreciated it.

Cons: Ezu should advertise the fact that aiport provides free phone service to call them for pickup. I found it via the airport service desk.

Pros: Efficient and friendly service. Shuttle service to and from the airport was on time and efficient. Car worked well and did the job.

Cons: Car was not as clean as I would have expected. Very dusty including what appeared to be sand on the dashboard.

Cons: Even though it sounded like it was a good value for money, I didn’t feel that way. The car was pretty dated , interior was shocking, mouldy spots all over the floor mats, dust on dashboard, aircon filters….the break was not quite working. Overall, we don’t think it was clean after the previous renter before handled to us. The “ office” was no very little with no shelter for us on a rainy day. But the lady who helped us with paper was pretty friendly

Cons: As we were not arriving at the airport prior to vehicle collection, we did not have access to pick-up from our accommodation which we thought would be available to us.

Cons: The car that was provided to us was very old. The odometer read around 175000 kms. The breaks of the car were very inefficient. the car wasnt in the best condition. the tyres were wobbly and there was rattling noise at many occasions.

I accidentally locked my handbag in the rental car and needed to get to the airport with another arranged taxi----couldn't get hold of anyone until opening hours. E-zu could NOT deliver my handbag at the airport via 'free shuttle service', although I couldn't use the free shuttle service, because it was out of office hours.

Cons: the customer service was non-existent. The hidden costs were not properly explained, and very hard to understand due to the poor spoken English. The outside of the car had not been cleaned and was not in good condition, but we were advised if we didn't return it clean, we could be charged up to $200! On top of the overpriced ren fee and $1000 bond! I had excess cover through my travel insurance and find $1000 bond excessive for the car that we received.

Pros: No agent in airport to meet as described No signage for this particular company - when we located the shuttle bus the rental office is over 4 km from the airport - cars are old and not looked after - drivers are informed they must wash the car before returning if dirty - drivers informed they must take photos of all damage to the cars which was significant to avoid paying damage on return - only one small mini bus operating which could not accommodate all passengers with luggage -

Cons: Price was a bit high compared to other car rentals I have used. Perhaps Queenstown is more pricey. More importantly, there is not a counter inside the airport for EZU which is a bit annoying and confusing and we had to asl another car rental company how to get to EZU.

Pros: The car was the worst car I have ever hired. The outside had dents and scratches on every panel. The front bumper bar was hanging off! The inside was horrific! it was dirty and very old. The back seat had hair all over it and had odd stains on it. The car had over 200,000kms and was the worse car I have ever driven.

Cons: When we discussed the damage, they simply said "its not your car, get over it"

Pros: Ad the vehicle available that was needed for our group.

Cons: We had to get the AA out to check the car as the car wouldn't start. Fortunately we were in a city, but next stops would have been more remote with no cell phone access in a number of places. Turned out it needed a new battery and maybe should not have been rented out with this, as it was an old battery and there was no check or service noted on it.
