Cons: Dropped off at150 kilmore st CHC office on 30th April Sunday. We accidentally left a phone inside the car and we realised after post a key, once I noticed I left voicemail as office closed on Sunday and sent emails to Hertz support care but haven't heard anything yet. We flew to Japan very early next morning so couldn't contact them again. I really need to know if they found it. If you can would like to ask to send it to Queenstown Airport desk and I can pick up when we come back. Thank you

Cons: poor communication. I was charged 530$ additional with zero information or communication and there is no way i can contact them. no response.

Cons: Car was not cleaned on outside, dusty making it hard to check for dents and scratches when picking up and leading to a general overall lack of professionalism I expected from a compnay like Hertz. Was also disappointed that we did not get the brand and model we booked. Was really keen to get an opportunity to trial the Kia Sportage and found the Nissan Xtrail we got to be gutless on acceleration when you needed it.
Pros: Communication Discovery to Hertz did not confirm advanced pick up time but Hertz found ud a car early.

Pros: There was some change in itinerary, they changed the time for pick up and drop off very easily.

Cons: Staff shortage meant I had to wait for 2hrs before my car was ready. Communication in advance would have given me the opportunity to spend the time doing something else, rather than hanging out at the airport. To be super clear: I don’t blame anyone for not having enough staff. But putting more effort into letting customers know what they can expect, would have been great. Drop off location was closed on Sunday. So why make me return the car until noon.
Pros: All good thou the wait was long as it took the agent a long time to deal with the customer in front of me. I understand it is busy. Also agent was not very clear with her explanation re full cover insurance and Discover Cars Full Cover/protection. Otherwise very friendly.
Cons: The exterior of the car was not very clean. Also, the agent did not tell us she would send through photos of the car. Received that email about 50mins after pick up. THe photos received are not clear and a lot of the marks/scratches cant be seen.
Cons: I initially booked car for wrong dates ( my fault) but was unable to change or cancel so had to go elsewhere for a car
Pros: It was at Queenstown airport - and drop off was less than 1 km from our hotel at Christchurch airport.
Cons: The delay in providing the car at the beginning of the hire. But they were generally informative about it.
Pros: Quick and easy to pay, easy an simple drop off keys.
Cons: Rental agent didnot explain where to collect/pick up the car from very easy. Did take a little bit to find where the car was parked. Also we hired a baby car seat which was all buckled into the car the incorrect way, we had asked for a rear facing seat an found this was fitted into the car forward facing. Also this car seat hasn’t been clean properly when we took the seat out to put this in the correct way we discovered there was still food crumbs an in the bottom of the seat.
Pros: Staff had great customer service skills, explained everything well and the car exceeded our expectations, was spacious and very clean.

Pros: According to Hentz agent, since I bought the full insurance from Discover, if any accident, Hertz need to charge the tenant first then tenant claim from Discover, Is it right?

Pros: The car was fantastic, service efficient and getting in and out of the airport really fast. The car was better than the one we had booked, thrilled and now we want to buy one for ourselves.

Cons: Not enough staff on at counter -wait time was long . Car was very dirty inside indicating car had not been cleaned
Pros: Staff were lovely and welcoming however there was only 1 staff on and it took 50 minutes waiting in line to get the car.
Pros: The 1st agent was amazing, she was super busy but had a smile and dealt with everyone efficiently.
Cons: Our flights were cancelled, I went back to get the same car but the lady was unhelpful, I appreciate how busy she was but her attitude was terrible, Mike tried to help but she would not let him, we hired with Eli instead.
Pros: It was great we were served well and picked up our car from the airport parking which was great. Since we have 10 month old baby we had car seat and it was easy to get into.
Cons: I wasn’t told the i had to pay $200 upfront some sort of authorization. Which i still haven’t got it back. The staff told me that i will get it with 2 days of dropping the car off but i don’t see any refund yet.
Cons: They need to sort out their car classes to better match what is on discover cars
