Cons: The rate stated by Discover Cars was way lower than the actual cost. I was double charged for premium locatiom fee and snow chain at pick up and could not get a refund.

Pros: I travel every year internationally and hiring a car is always the most challenging part of the trip. Snap however was probably the best I have come by so far. Friendly and quick service at check in. Communication prior to the car hire was quick as well and very responsive to questions. Followed by drop off which was very very fast. The shuttle bus was prompt and the service was great.

Pros: I had a fantastic experience with SNAP in Queenstown, NZ. The pickup process was seamless from the airport, and the rental facility was impeccably clean and close by. It was reassuring to see that the car had been thoroughly cleaned and inspected for any mechanical issues before my journey, as indicated by the hang tag provided in the vehicle.

Cons: The only minor drawback was that the car classes seemed smaller in New Zealand compared to what I'm accustomed to in the USA. I rented a Premium Crossover and it was unable to accommodate two large rolling suitcases in the trunk space resting in having to lay a rear passenger seat down.

Cons: They demand a deposit of 2000 dollars for car insurance. The problem is, that DiscoverCars offers their own insurance, which you end up paying, and when you arrive at the location that they demand another deposit of so much money, it is a bit of a surprise for the situation.

Cons: Also the car seats hired were absolutely dismal and borderline illegal. We had to plead for a better car seat for our 4yr old as she can’t use a normal seatbelt yet and they couldn’t even find one with an anchor point. Our 1yr old also had to forward face. He kept rushing us to just take what was given and go even though the seatbelts were twisted and car seats not being fitted properly/safely. NZ has even stricter car seat laws than we’re used to so we were very shocked the quality was so bad.

Pros: Our rental car was literally a piece of junk. It had dents, scratches, scrapes, and chipped windshield! It was by far the worst car I have ever rented. I’ve traveled all throughout the world and I had a better car in 3rd world country! The car was so junky it was embarrassing and I’m not one to care what others think but when you park next to someone with a banged up car and the other driver looks at you like wow your car is banged up obviously you don’t care. The car was dingy on the inside.

Cons: Continued about the car because that’s how bad it was. The passenger side I had a dent in it so when opened the door it squeaked so loud. The car was not cleaned that well because there was there a big ole grease hand print muck on the back window. Picking up the car was ok. Drop off took way too long. Only one person working- it took way too long so thank you for wasting my time because you’re under staffed. Overall awful experience and I would not recommend or use again. Do better.

Cons: My family and I arrived at Queenstown airport after 5 pm due to an hour delay in the flight. Unfortunately, the car rental company was closed and we had to take a taxi to the hotel. It would be perfect if the rental car company could provide airport transfers outside of business hours.

We got left at the airport and when we tried contacting the rental company it took 20 mins to get a hold of someone and they didn't seem empathetic or reassuring. Cons: Had to ring twice to picked up from airport (you get transferred from Queenstown Airport to car rental location). Took over 45 minutes despite being 5 minutes down the road. Could see other companies coming back and forth at least twice. Very busy at the place. Perhaps they need an extra person on the desk as she was run off her feet. There was a drink bottle from previous user in our car which makes me wonder how well cleaned it was

Cons: The car business was to far from the airport. The car was in bad condition, it took too long to get picked up and dropped off.

Pros: Fast, efficient, friendly service from all staff we encountered. Car was clean and tidy and the price was very competitive. Would definitely goto Snap again.

Cons: Not receiving refund ended up paying $200 of insurances. When also picked up by snap we were 1st waiting in line, we waiting patiently for bags to be put in back of van, a lot of other customers jumped in and took all the seats. There was one left so I went with bags and had to leave the rest of family ( husband and 2 young kids behind). I have always had good experience with rental car places. But have to say this was the worst and sad it was in the country I leave in.
