Pros: It was efficient, but the front desk personnel could be friendlier.

Cons: We were rushed into the shuttle the minute we returned the car & had to explain to the woman driver of the shuttle that the hubcap was in the boot. Hopefully she relayed the message.

Cons: There center is away from queenstown Airport but they provide free Pickip and drop-off service from the Airport.So its Hasell Free.

Cons: We dropped the car off at the agreed time. There was no representative at the office. We called, no answer. We left the key on the desk. A day later we were charged for an extra day of hire and also stating the car was returned damaged which it was not. There as a non agreed charge of around $1600 after we disputed the false claims . Terrible service and terrible business.

Pros: Nothing. Certain things that were offered on the website did not reflect my booking and what I actually received. The car I had booked (Mazda demilo or similar) … big emphasis on the “or similar”. The car I received did not look anything similar. Which I had mentioned. When I asked “well do you have the car I selected available as that is what I would like” they said “we actually don’t have that car at all”. Online also offered to add a GPS. However when I asked they said they don’t do this.

Cons: The insurance policy was very strange. They didn’t want to offer the extra insurance to me or talk me through it. Felt like they were trying to convince me that I got a better car then advertised when I didn’t. There isn’t many workers, they don’t answer their phones and when I went to drop off my car no one was there. It was very rushed and I’m worried I won’t get my bond back as they brushed through it when I asked about it. Dodgy vibes that was not pleasant for my trip. Created anxiety

Pros: Our flight was delayed over night. They were flexible planning our late pick up then accommodating our delay. Car was clean. People were quick & friendly.

Cons: A new vehicle should have a proper GPS navigation system on board - it just had a hard to use basic one. You can hire one for Xtra but it should be standard with the vehicle these days.

Pros: Eli and Yesway was great to deal with. Great communication and easy, no fuss transactions/dealings. Loved the Toyota Hybrid. Great economically, awesome to drive. Would definitely use Yesaway again.

Cons: As above, a mess and a long wait at pick up. 2 other couples were waiting. One for more than an hour. They were not happy that their shuttle left without them and we were collected before them. they could not understand what the reception person was saying either.

Cons: Awful communication and rude. Back tyres of our car were bald and worn out, we have photos. Car seat which we took off the hire was not installed properly, thank god we had brought our own one with us. An extra $50 to leave the car at the airport with the keys in the car seemed absolutely ridiculous. We had 5 people including an infant and lord of baby luggage yet we were told a van would pick us up and it did not, one of us had to drive the man back to the rental place.

Pros: They pick you up from the airport at your arrival time and liase with you via text which adds that extra reassurance.

Cons: I think the website could use some work. It was scary booking with them as you feel like it’s like a scam. Too many adverts on the booking site and very cluttered UI adds to the scammy feeling. Glad it worked out haha! And it worked out well!

Pros: Phoned Yesaway one week before travelling & left message. I was supprised they did phone me back in Australia & was assured everything was fine. Arrived QT shuttle driver waiting with prompt delivery to car. Car clean & in good condition. Most impressed after the booking experience concern.

Cons: When initially booked there were confusing emails sent that made me concerned. Looked online & there were unfavourable comments. Tried to phone, no answer, left message no response. I had paid a deposit & was concerned I would lose my money & I would arrive in NZ & there would be no car.

We were told to arrive between a half hour period and the shuttle was arriving as we were parking around the back. driver was a terrible driver and we were packed in like sardines, not a great way to finish as we were a group of 6 would have hoped another option to get us to airport could have been provided as our 1 way rental cost was over $500
