The car wasn't brand new, but it was clean, tidy, and drove well. There was a small chip in the windscreen, and they pointed it out before we left, which I appreciated. Overall, a really good experience.

After difficulties at the airport pick-up (Language was an issue, understanding what was being said) I arrived at the rental company and completed the minimal paperwork required. Then several other people and I had to wait and wait for the keys. In the end, I went inside and told them that people were in a hurry and needed their car ASAP. Eventually, we were given our keys and left

Cons: I thought being charged $NZ400 excess for a simple puncture during our trip was totally over the top. If I had the puncture repaired myself it would have cost around $40. There needs to be a separate excess/charge for such a small issue like a puncture. The charging of such a steep excess for a simple issue, one not of our doing, forced me to follow up with an insurance claim. This is proving cumbersome and time consuming.

Pros: The car was quite old - 125000kms - and had quite a few minor dents and scratches BUT was very economical and ran really well. Travelled long distances - approx 2500kms - and had no problems whatsoever.

Cons: It was pouring with rain when we returned the car and there is no undercover parking or waiting area only a small office so we got soaked removing our luggage and transferring to the shuttle.

Cons: I didn't like the that i had to leave a $2000.00 Deposit for a minor bit of damage to the car. Which I did not do. To help in these matters a dash cam should be placed in all of the vehicles. The car was parked over 2 days and the damage done then. I had a flight to catch at 10.am and they were not going to let me go until could paid the deposit. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW THER OWN BANK DETAILS. To pay money into their account by another person.

Pros: It took only a couple of minutes to sign off and pick up the car and dropping off was very easy too. They also had a shuttle there to take us back to the airport. Car was clean looked well looked after.

Cons: Unfortunately I had a minor accident (bump on rear fender) for which I took responsibility. I filled out claim forms at the end of our trip. They then indicated some problem with my driver's license. I responded with corrective information 3 days ago and have not received a response back. I am not sure how to proceed with the claim which was insured through Discover. So the rental was fine up until then.

Had to drive 30/40 mins for them to tell us to fill the tank and bring it back (they will swap it) took a while for him to bring the next van and the second “7 seater” barely fit 7 people in. Wasted a good chunk of our day

Pros: The car we booked was a toyota corolla or similar. What we got was a toyota aqua. Everything went really well when picking up and dropping off. Also being a hybrid it was cost effective.

Cons: The only issue with the car (and it is only a minor issue) was just the age of it. I'm guessing it was 10 years old. Something a few years newer should be supplied.
