We had plans for long travel and it was a dangerous drive all the way to Hanmer. We came back to return after cancelling our trip and got another vehicle and guess what ! The 2nd vehicle was in much worst condition. The whole front suspension was making noise. Seems both shocks were gone. I would never rent anything from YesCars. Dangerous

Cons: Very hard to understand the lady at the desk and she was rude

Pros: The car was quite old - 125000kms - and had quite a few minor dents and scratches BUT was very economical and ran really well. Travelled long distances - approx 2500kms - and had no problems whatsoever.

Cons: It was pouring with rain when we returned the car and there is no undercover parking or waiting area only a small office so we got soaked removing our luggage and transferring to the shuttle.

Cons: I didn't like the that i had to leave a $2000.00 Deposit for a minor bit of damage to the car. Which I did not do. To help in these matters a dash cam should be placed in all of the vehicles. The car was parked over 2 days and the damage done then. I had a flight to catch at 10.am and they were not going to let me go until could paid the deposit. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW THER OWN BANK DETAILS. To pay money into their account by another person.

Pros: It took only a couple of minutes to sign off and pick up the car and dropping off was very easy too. They also had a shuttle there to take us back to the airport. Car was clean looked well looked after.

Cons: Age/overall condition of the car. When I asked for a copy of my receipt they had to figure out how to do it. I normally want to see the charges before I leave the shop, in case there is a problem. (There was not, but I wanted to be sure before I left.)

Cons: Unfortunately I had a minor accident (bump on rear fender) for which I took responsibility. I filled out claim forms at the end of our trip. They then indicated some problem with my driver's license. I responded with corrective information 3 days ago and have not received a response back. I am not sure how to proceed with the claim which was insured through Discover. So the rental was fine up until then.

On the last day of our trip, we had a flat tire. I expected that I must have run over a nail somehow. But no, the front passenger tire blew because there was no tread on the tire. The steel belts showed all the way around. We (and Yes Rentals) were extremely lucky that the tire blew out on a straight away.
