While the km driven by the car was more than 70k which if you do the math for a two month old car wasnt making sense . The ambient light in the car wasnt functioning and gave a big problem at night as we searching things in car . The sound system and the navigation screen buttons were written in japanese making it more difficult to connect my bluetooth or navigate.

Cons: Our flight got delayed by 3 hours so i arrived at christchurch airport at 5.30pm. and by the time i got my luggages and rushed to use the local landline kindly offered by another car rental company. it was 5.55pm. And the handphone number was fortunately picked by the staff although i had to call 3 times. The staff promptly came to pick us at the airport although they insisted on charging the late fee of NZD50. They should have waived it given my predicament.

The van was dirty and smelly when picked up. I asked for a late model van and got an old model. There was a later model in the lot but didn't get offered that one. Overall not good. Won't use EZU again.

It could have been waived off, or atleast reasonable charged. You are big car rental company, so you could have got adjustment of such things to manage with. Overall very satisfied with.... I had requested for Suzuki Swift. I saved money in petrol.

Cons: Booked a small economy car, Mazda demo or similar, got a big old 2011 Toyota Aurion that was thirsty and heavy in the steering and a pain in the **** to park! Not at all good value for money. When dropping the car back, phoned the number as told to, and was told would be 5 mins, waited and waited and waited, shuttle driver arrived back and reminded other guy we were waiting, he served the people he had bought back and as we were still waiting when he finished, we finally got to return the car.

There was no shuttle service running, so we had to call two uber cars because we were a group of 5 people with luggage. "After-business-hour service" for $50 fee was a bogus. I asked the staff at pick-up in Christchurch location about the "after-business-hour service" at drop-off in Queenstown but he was not knowledgeable about that. 2. The car was NOT clean at all.

Pros: The appropriate time to pick up and return the car.

Cons: I didn't get the car I reserved, but I got a replacement car.

Cons: Unfortunately the GPS was in a another language and we couldn’t turn it of. A minor inconvenience we worked around. We did not make an effort to contact EZU as it was not that important to us.

You rent a car for your holidays and you can’t put any music, we asked the guy to help and he just said: I don’t know Japanese 🤷🏽‍♂️. Also, this is just a little detail but when people rent a car on their holidays it’s really helpful is the car has a USB port for the phone and this one it had nothing

Cons: Rude customer service, apparently they don’t check txt messages cause they’re too busy or call you back about picking up or dropping off vehicle. Also seemed like the car wash washed a month ago, with spider webs on wing mirrors, they forgot to clean/vacuum centre console
