Cons: Car didn't fit car seats and he got us to try other cars that he new wouldn't work and his response was; it's not my problem, he was swearing at me, using the F word, wasted 2 hours there. His espsinse was go find someone else, there are heaps around. Car seats are definitely not Australian Standard (not sure about NZ) Car had at least 4 chips in the windscreen

Pros: EZU car rental is the worse rental I have ever had. The pick up lady had us waiting 45 minutes. She was also extremely rude beyond description. Not even a hello.

Ends up spending an hour to sanitize the car and we had to buy wet wipes to clean the car after discovering all the bits and pieces of the snacks. I have a child with chronic bronchitis thus the need to have a clean interior for the vehicle

Cons: Our flight got delayed by 3 hours so i arrived at christchurch airport at 5.30pm. and by the time i got my luggages and rushed to use the local landline kindly offered by another car rental company. it was 5.55pm. And the handphone number was fortunately picked by the staff although i had to call 3 times. The staff promptly came to pick us at the airport although they insisted on charging the late fee of NZD50. They should have waived it given my predicament.

Cons: They can offer better customer service by maybe smiling even not one of the staff has actually spoken to us yet except for saying pay $116 and pay deposit $1000 very cold staff. I notice they spoke alot to the asian clientel but not us. Very cold staff. Car had peanuts from the previous renters as we never ate at all in the car

The van was dirty and smelly when picked up. I asked for a late model van and got an old model. There was a later model in the lot but didn't get offered that one. Overall not good. Won't use EZU again.

The insurance excess should have been covered by my westpac credit card however the foreign gentleman on the desk did not understand what i was trying to do.

It could have been waived off, or atleast reasonable charged. You are big car rental company, so you could have got adjustment of such things to manage with. Overall very satisfied with.... I had requested for Suzuki Swift. I saved money in petrol.

Cons: Booked a small economy car, Mazda demo or similar, got a big old 2011 Toyota Aurion that was thirsty and heavy in the steering and a pain in the **** to park! Not at all good value for money. When dropping the car back, phoned the number as told to, and was told would be 5 mins, waited and waited and waited, shuttle driver arrived back and reminded other guy we were waiting, he served the people he had bought back and as we were still waiting when he finished, we finally got to return the car.

We questioned why we were paying for 15 days when we were only renting the car for 14 and EZU told us they can’t change it. The car was junk. Worst car I’ve rented anywhere in the world. Hub caps zip tied on. Paint chipping off. Old as - looked like someone’s personal car. Weak brakes. Definitely not fuel efficient either.

Cons: Office was not clean or presented well. It was obvious that they didn't have a cleaner, there were things lying all over the floor, and sorry to say the ladies toilets were not satisfactory at all.

Cons: The car had a cigarette , damp smell . The radio and functions was all in Japanese or an Asian language . Car rental staff didn't show us anything about the radio or maps to convert to NZ roads if at all possible . I had to put a $ 1000 nzd bond down before taking the car in which I wasn't very happy about . Windscreen wipers were terrible . Wouldn't use this company again

Cons: It would of been nice to be told the car had alot of marks on the body as i was always worried iwould be blamed for them and took me 10mins to work out it was a foot handbrake and at 1am in the morning being a single women was abit off a stress in a dark carpark.

Pros: Worst service ever, I was left in the deep hole with no response. Phone number goes straight to voice mail and no call back even after leaving multiple voice mails.

Cons: Nobody responded from EZU rental when i landed in airport to pickup my car, thought they know I arrive on that particular day and time. No notable response from Disovercar support as well. I was in the airport with my family for more than an hour and no clue of what is happening. When I reached the office on my own, they doesnt seem to care or acknowledge the mistake.

Cons: The car was in very average condition although very clean. Quite scratched up. I had no idea where to go to be picked up by your shuttle and no one answered the phone for many calls. We waited over an hour by the time we finally talked to someone and found out where to wait and waited for a shuttle. A bit disappointing. Dropping off went very well.

Cons: The condition of the car was quite bad, the brake can’t work properly sometimes and the Bluetooth audio is not working unless you plug with cable. Also, the water guard keep having weird sound when using it. No reverse camera so took some time to familiar with parking.

Pros: Nice people on the desk, car was a bit older with 100,000km but drove well and was clean and comfortable. Was the cheapest we found but was as good as the more expensive company I have used in past. Will recommend to friends
