I rented a convertible and the team ensured it was in perfect condition before handing over the keys. They also provided me with a local guidebook, which was very useful. Can't recommend them enough!

Pros: Renting a car does not get easier than this. We had a Camry and it was a good car. The car had 92,000 km so it was not new, but is was very nicely kept. The car was not fully loaded, but the value was great! The only issue was one of the windshield wiper blades was torn on the driver side. Everything else, checkin in and return were perfect!

And the handphone number was fortunately picked by the staff although i had to call 3 times. The staff promptly came to pick us at the airport although they insisted on charging the late fee of NZD50. They should have waived it given my predicament.

Pros: Good Staff

Cons: Service was good but the car wasn't sturdy. It kept swerving with the harsh winds. Thankfully i had good control but almost flew off the road at one point.

Pros: I will not be recommending Discovercars to any other travellers (unless i get my deposit back) instead i would suggest they go direct to EZU instead. The insurance excess should have been covered by my westpac credit card however the foreign gentleman on the desk did not understand what i was trying to do.

Cons: EZU were ok other than not understanding about my credit cards own insurance to cover car insurance excess.

Pros: Great service! Highly recommended!

Pros: They did a lot online, were qu8ick at pick-up and repaid me for the battery we had to but for the remote (which did not work on pick-up)

Pros: Easy to sort out but the pick up from the airport took a lot longer than I thought - I’d planned to be on Riccarton by 9 with flight arriving at 8 and an hour was not enough time - so was late for appointment by 15 minutes

Cons: No free shuttle service during out of business time in Queenstown. The car is old, the light is dimmed. The tire not very good condition. But overall is comfortable.

Pros: To my surprise I got Toyota Aqua Hybrid car. Even the return charges for leaving car at Queenstown instead of Christchurch of NZ $ 300 was very high. It could have been waived off, or atleast reasonable charged. You are big car rental company, so you could have got adjustment of such things to manage with. Overall very satisfied with.... I had requested for Suzuki Swift. I saved money in petrol.

Cons: I had to manage very bad mobile holder. Car was without mobile charger, after request they managed to give me slow charger, which he said that was only available. There was no screen display, so I was completely dependent on mobile maps, etc.

Cons: The car needed a good clean inside. And I didn't get the car I ordered. I ordered a Nissan and got a Toyota.

Pros: Very old car, stereo didn’t work, chips in windscreen, ripped seats, exterior plastic mouldings damaged, falling off and limited breaks. Engine, gearbox and tires great! Was perfect for our road trip of 3 weeks and excellent value.

Cons: The service very average I paid 800 dollars for a week, the car I got was valued on 600, when I complained, the person in the counter said that they didn't have the car and they have probably given it to whomever paid more, so what happened with the 200 dollar difference? Very Unsatisfied, not recommending this company rentals at all.
