Cons: Awful service. Ordered a 9 seater automatic car which wasn’t ready for pickup. Tried being fobbed off with alternative lesser vehicles. Needed up settling on an 8 seater manual after maybe an hour or so wait. All very slowwww

Cons: I’m very disappointed with this rental company. The car was brand new, and I picked it up in a multi-storey car park with poor lighting. I walked around the car and didn't see any damage. But when I returned it, a staff member inspected every inch with a large flashlight. At the very end, he even lay down under the front bumper and found a tiny scratch.For that scratch, they charged me 480 euros, which feels completely unfair.

Told to film vehicle myself noting damage both inside and out, this took over 45mins only for the car not to start!! I was eventually offered a newer car that had been sat waiting all along !!

Cons: Took almost two hours to collect the car due to limited staff for inspection. Then a charge for a less than 1 cm scratch on the rear bumper. Also stickers all over the car with the brand made the car look awful.

Pros: After waiting in line for over an hour i was told the car had not yet been cleaned. I was given the option to either take it as it was or wait an hour or 2 for it to be cleaned. We toon it dirty, car was newish and everything worked ok.

Cons: Signing the hire agreement was ridiculous. There were over 25 places to sign, these signitures were dotted throughout a terms and conditions document that was 100's of pages long. I was lucky that nothing happened during the hire period, but dread to think of how hard it would have been to get the £1800 deposit back. These terms should be made available at the time of booking, and not at the airport pick up desk. I will not use this company again and do not reccomend them to others.

The replacement car was due a service so the tyre pressure warning light stayed on all the time and the front bumper drivers panel was damage and coming away from the body work.

Pros: L'apport de Discover qui permet de trouver un loueur rapidement - les véhicules comportent les logos de Sicily (positif pour montrer aux autres que nous sommes touristes) - pas de constat amiable d'accident dans le véhicule (que faut-il faire en cas d'accident ??) - le prix intéressant même si le rapport qualité prix est moins intéressant.

Cons: temps d'attente pour la récupération du véhicule à l'agence de l'aéroport de Malte - personnel peu ou pas souriant - peu d'informations (par exemple pas de prise en compte de la conduite à gauche et des conditions de circulation dans le pays) - état du véhicule notamment les pneus très usés - pas de diagnostic constat fait à l'arrivée comme pour le départ pour constater l'état du véhicule rapporté en fin de location.

Cons: First car was in a dangerous condition with multiple faults with engine and TPMS. Staff member tried to claim it was mormal for all cars and just sensor issues and suggested that the swap it 'if it breaks down' I refused to take it and they swapped for a functioning car.

It had a permanent warning light on for the brakes, the headlights were wired incorrectly so off was on and vice versa, 3 tires needed replacing as one was bald and 2 were very cracked. Screen wash was empty. Car drove terribly, over sensitive in low gears and under powered in high ones, odd high bite point for clutch. Car had bumps and scrapes all over it. Honestly just get the thing fixed already.

Despite the Discover Cars agent told that they would have contacted me to organise un uncomplicated car swap on the day following the pickup, this never happened. Cons: I spent 3 hours to pick up a car. They have pressed me to take another insurance, what I refused, because of I took it already from DiscoverCars.com. After being denied this insurance, the agents were very reluctant. First they had no car ready even though I arrived at the pre-announced time. After hour, they offered me a car of a lower category. After returning with protol without complain, they took another 70 EUR from my credit card without a word of explanation.

Cons: We waited for two hours to get the car. For all this time we were standing in the hallway without any place to sit down instead of enjoying our holliday. Rental agents (especially one man coodinating their work) were rude. They also didn't try to inform anyone about the situation or try to speed things up. In the end we got a car that was all banged up and very dirty inside (at least AC was working). We took it as we were extremely tired and wanting to leave that place as fast as possible.

The guys at the desk (after I was refusing several times to proceed as that booking wasn't correct) proposed to check out all available cars to see if there was any with full tank, after checking the first I just accepted the first car that had 3/4 of full tank. I addition 1 security belt was missing!!!

Cons: My flight arrived one hour late, And because of this, I arrived to the Sicily By car 10 minuts after 10pm. They forced me to pay more 35 euros cexause 10 minuts.

Cons: The first car they gave us had a check engine light, a tyre pressure warning and an Ad Blue refill warning. The representative initially told me not to worry about any of this, but eventually they agreed to swap the vehicle. The next vehicle was pretty banged up but appeared better overall. However it soon transpired that this car’s left indicator was broken, along with one of its headlights. The clutch was also non-existent. Cheap rental but you definitely get what you pay for.

Cons: We chose the full-to-full option in the rental contract and they told um that the company does not work with that option, so it would be an error on the DiscoverCar website. The rental car had a lot of damage and some broken parts (side mirror and bumpers). However, they only pointed out some of them and asked us to take photos of the existing damage. The most correct thing would be that the contract already had an indication of all the problems. The tires had little air.

Cons: Value for money is really what sicily by car stands for. The rental car was super cheap (60€ for 5 days) but also in super bad condition. The chassis had several bumps and scratches (which isn't a big of a deal), one wing mirror was shattered, the air pressure of the tyres wasn't good and the gearing was terrible. We signed up for "full to full policy" but got one with half.

Finally they responded to email after a further 2 days by which time I had partly sorted out the matter with their airport office and collected the (right) replacement car on my fourth visit to the airport.
