Cons: Had to reject first two cars (no headlights, no wings mirror). Pick up took nearly 3 hours.

Cons: They tried to scam me e.g. on the cleanliness at return of the car whereby I had to pay Euro 292 if the car had a grain of sand inside or a bird poo outside. The car was in absolutely poor condition with issues with the steering, radio didn't work and dirty inside and out.

Cons: 1 of the headlights bulbs had blown, and windscreen wiper rubber delaminating from blade. They did change the car however I had to drive in from Gozo, where I was staying. The replacement car was due a service so the tyre pressure warning light stayed on all the time and the front bumper drivers panel was damage and coming away from the body work.

Pros: L'apport de Discover qui permet de trouver un loueur rapidement - les véhicules comportent les logos de Sicily (positif pour montrer aux autres que nous sommes touristes) - pas de constat amiable d'accident dans le véhicule (que faut-il faire en cas d'accident ??) - le prix intéressant même si le rapport qualité prix est moins intéressant.

Cons: temps d'attente pour la récupération du véhicule à l'agence de l'aéroport de Malte - personnel peu ou pas souriant - peu d'informations (par exemple pas de prise en compte de la conduite à gauche et des conditions de circulation dans le pays) - état du véhicule notamment les pneus très usés - pas de diagnostic constat fait à l'arrivée comme pour le départ pour constater l'état du véhicule rapporté en fin de location.

Cons: First car was in a dangerous condition with multiple faults with engine and TPMS. Staff member tried to claim it was mormal for all cars and just sensor issues and suggested that the swap it 'if it breaks down' I refused to take it and they swapped for a functioning car.

It had a permanent warning light on for the brakes, the headlights were wired incorrectly so off was on and vice versa, 3 tires needed replacing as one was bald and 2 were very cracked. Screen wash was empty. Car drove terribly, over sensitive in low gears and under powered in high ones, odd high bite point for clutch. Car had bumps and scrapes all over it. Honestly just get the thing fixed already.

A BIG DENT WAS NOT MARKED ON THE BODY OF THE CAR AND !!! YOUR CONTROLER SAID IT WAS A NEW DENT AND I WAS RESPONCIBLE !!! CHECKING HIS COMPUTER FILE FROM BEFORE, IT SUDDENLY WAS NOT MY DENT !!! IT WAS THERE BEFORE !!! He also was discussing the fuel level ! It was exactly half full as when i got the car ! ACTUALY I THINK I AM GOING TO FILE COMPLAINT

Cons: They were going to charge me for a small dent that was on the car when I picked it up. Had to prove with pictures I took at pick up. Not good!

Cons: They didn't have the car I booked and I had to waste time to come back to get another one still. Despite the Discover Cars agent told that they would have contacted me to organise un uncomplicated car swap on the day following the pickup, this never happened. Moreover, the guy at the desk couldn't even give me information about the insurance I had chosen.

That meant there was some confusion when dropping off the car as the rental agreement paperwork didn't match what we'd actually signed (i.e. the drop off dates/times were different on the paperwork we were given to our actual agreement). Also the car wasn't the best handling - it pulled to the left a lot and was in generally a bit of a state.

Cons: I spent 3 hours to pick up a car. They have pressed me to take another insurance, what I refused, because of I took it already from DiscoverCars.com. After being denied this insurance, the agents were very reluctant. First they had no car ready even though I arrived at the pre-announced time. After hour, they offered me a car of a lower category. After returning with protol without complain, they took another 70 EUR from my credit card without a word of explanation.

Cons: We waited for two hours to get the car. For all this time we were standing in the hallway without any place to sit down instead of enjoying our holliday. Rental agents (especially one man coodinating their work) were rude. They also didn't try to inform anyone about the situation or try to speed things up. In the end we got a car that was all banged up and very dirty inside (at least AC was working). We took it as we were extremely tired and wanting to leave that place as fast as possible.

Cons: Car was in horrid condition: 1) the break pad needs replaced as the breaks were creaking 2) the night lamps were too dim, so I avoided driving at night 3) the spare wheel in the back was exposed and loose so there was a constant shuckle when I drove Cars should be safe to drive!

Cons: I booked a car with "Full to Full" fuel Policy and got a "Same to Same" booking. I was refusing to proceed with that fuel policy, the guys at the desk told me that I had no other choice. The guys at the desk (after I was refusing several times to proceed as that booking wasn't correct) proposed to check out all available cars to see if there was any with full tank, after checking the first I just accepted the first car that had 3/4 of full tank. I addition 1 security belt was missing!!!

Cons: My flight arrived one hour late, And because of this, I arrived to the Sicily By car 10 minuts after 10pm. They forced me to pay more 35 euros cexause 10 minuts.

Cons: The first car they gave us had a check engine light, a tyre pressure warning and an Ad Blue refill warning. The representative initially told me not to worry about any of this, but eventually they agreed to swap the vehicle. The next vehicle was pretty banged up but appeared better overall. However it soon transpired that this car’s left indicator was broken, along with one of its headlights. The clutch was also non-existent. Cheap rental but you definitely get what you pay for.

Cons: We chose the full-to-full option in the rental contract and they told um that the company does not work with that option, so it would be an error on the DiscoverCar website. The rental car had a lot of damage and some broken parts (side mirror and bumpers). However, they only pointed out some of them and asked us to take photos of the existing damage. The most correct thing would be that the contract already had an indication of all the problems. The tires had little air.

Cons: Value for money is really what sicily by car stands for. The rental car was super cheap (60€ for 5 days) but also in super bad condition. The chassis had several bumps and scratches (which isn't a big of a deal), one wing mirror was shattered, the air pressure of the tyres wasn't good and the gearing was terrible. We signed up for "full to full policy" but got one with half.

When I tried to correct the situation, there was no answer from their head office in Malta - tried telephoning 10 times over 2 days. Finally they responded to email after a further 2 days by which time I had partly sorted out the matter with their airport office and collected the (right) replacement car on my fourth visit to the airport.
