AddCar at Malta Airport

Pros: Pick up once the office was located was smooth.

Cons: Extra cost added to the pick up that wasn't mentioned when the car was booked. Three hundred and fifty Euro fine for a small mark on the bumper was a bit of a rip off.

Cons: At the car pick up, the confirmed vehicle was different from the one confirmed without previous information/ agreement.

Cons: He took pictures of all and very small spots on the car, which made me feel a little stressed, because what would happen when I came back with the car.

Pros: Friendly reception at office and efficient completion of contractual formalities. We were on the road quickly after arriving at the rental office.

Cons: On our returning the car, the agent was clearly very busy processing multiple customers returning cars or beginning their car rental. He was also very focused on checking for damage even though (a) I told him I had had no incidents and (b) the car already had a number of scrapes when I picked it up, so it was not immaculate anyway.

Cons: Мне до сих пор не вернули залог!!!! Говорили, что просто блокируют на карте депозит.....а на самом деле сняли с карты сумму и до сих пор не вернули!!!

Pros: The person in charge's kind and detailed explanation and work handling were good.

Pros: They were professional and quick in giving the car.

Cons: The customer service agent that I called to enquire about changing the car to a VW Polo was quite rude. I also called to ask what fuel the car needed (it was not written on the paperwork as far as I could tell) and he was quite gruff with me.

Cons: It would be nice to bring the car closer to the rental office rather than having to walk back up to the designated spaces with the agent. That takes unnecessary time when you are trying to get to your flight.

Cons: Was meant to be a meet and greet.. they didn’t meet, not sign posted properly! Over charged us at the pick up and also car had a lot of damages. Only thing was drop off

Cons: A little hard to find - would be good to add a note that AddCar is in a shared office and therefore not listed on the board by the lifts.

Cons: Was told to go to desk at airport but there wasn't one. When eventually met by rep and taken to pick up car it was just somebodies garage down a back street, with no signage on the outside. Reps at pick up and drop off were very rude. Will never use again.

Cons: Completely dishonest company. Wish I never booked with them. They tried so hard to find any single tiny scratch they could blame on me and then charged me almost 400 euros for a scratch so minor I couldn’t even see it let alone confirm that it was me who was responsible for it. Complete frauds. They wouldn’t let me return the car until they found something they could charge me for.

Cons: Considering where they are situated in a back street they tried hard to provide a good service not an ideal location

Cons: There was a brief wait time on arrival for us to be picked up and the drive back to the airport, was a bit rash!

Cons: Terms and conditions are very different to the terms I received when booking through discovercarhire.com. There were additional charges for cancellation, additional charges for an incident, full insurance was 4 times more expensive than what discovercarhire.com offered. The representitive at AddCar was not able to answer if the insurance bought from discovercarhire.com would cover all the additional charges listed on the terms and conditions of addcar. Some of the staff are aggressive and rude.

Pros: Good efficient service. Would use again. Was worried about reviews but thought would take a chance and had no problems.

Cons: Rental office about 15 mins from airport and difficult to find when returning car as sat nav does not take into account for one way streets and roadworks. Informed new office will be at airport so should improve this.
