Cons: It wasn't clear to me why deposit couldn't be taken from one credit card, and rental charge from the other, both in my name. I did not have available balance for all charges on my main card, but why should rental refuse to swipe other card? As a result I was kind of forced to agree on smaller deposit, but at the price of additional non-refundable charge. Also, there was additional 150eur deposit requested for "licence". 5 days after returning a car I am still waiting release of both deposits
Cons: An extra surcharge of €50 for little bit of sand was ott, we didn't have time to find a place to hoover it out.
Cons: Despite having purchased extra insurance in advance, the agent lied and said this was invalid and pushed their own insurance (and was also doing so to other renters). Having made the agent speak with Discover cars, he had to admit that my insurance was valid. This pushy policy is clearly to charge insurance to unwitting renters in a bid to get more money. In addition, despite checking with them directly, they still charged a 60 EUR administration fee on top of my 3.72 EUR parking charge.
Pros: Agent office was shared with other companies and was chaotic. Agent's behaviour was unprofessional and inappropriate from the start
Cons: Agent blocked my credit card as he tried too many times to take contactless payment of 1200€ as deposit.
Pros: The car was ok, just some scratches and small bumps you should thake note of.
Cons: Firt "surprise" was that they were taking a deposit of 1.650€, 150€ extra for posible fines. Second surprise they got a "comunication error" trying to block the 1.500 from my credit card and despite my bank told me the problem was on the rental company gateway I have to pay 100€ extra for ther insurance (I already have one from DiscoverCars) to lower the blocked amount to 300. Last, even if the car is ok at return they don't return the deposit until past 30 days!

Pros: Car was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. We were also upgraded which was a nice surpise.

Cons: There was a terms and condition for the admin cost of the fine that the car received that was more expensive than the cost of the car and fine combined. But would just suggest those who recieve fines to let the office know as soon as possible to not have to pay this admin fee.

Cons: Overcharging speeding tickets, not giving at least 1 or 2 days for the renter to settle it themselves. You book a Diesel car? You'll get a Petrol car.
Pros: Attractive pricing for a budget car; would have accepted the fact the car wasn’t mint condition if their return policy and pricelist wasn’t so rediculous
Cons: Damage ‘price list’ which is completely disproportionate to actual cost - and given the condition of the car at pickup, unacceptable practice in my eyes... whether or not excess insurance covers their overpriced fees.
Pros: When I left the airport the tyre looked flat but due to it being night was unsure, but sure enough when I drove off the tyre light came on and by the morning it was completely flat!!! I manage to get someone from surprice to change it only becuase I have made a point during collection. Please inspect your car thoroughly before you off drive off. As they do like to charge you for anything.
Cons: They have no customer service and the English man is extremely rude.
Pros: The pick up helpdesk guy was extremely polite and patient. Drop off was extremely fast and easy!
Cons: The car was NOT sanitized however and the employee who gave me the car was not wearing his mask properly. I am still waiting for my company invoice It wasn´t easy to find your office. Add a bigger sign somewhere

Cons: Not easy to find, fee for non working hours (like 7am). When returning, the car rental agent found alleged "new" scratches (the car was completely scratched), we were charged for the damage (which I don't think it will be used for repair).

Cons: The car was in very bad conditions. Some tires were partially deflated, the windscreen wiper was broken, some indicators were turned on indicating some sort of engine problem, plus the car bipped from time to time indicating we did not fasten our seatbelts (although we did)

Cons: I was charged 47 Euros for returning the car on the 1st of January. This is a hidden charge in my opinion. It is buried in the terms and conditions somewhere but it should have been added to the total cost of rental upfront and made clearer.
Pros: Great service competitive prices and friendly staff !! Car was nice and tidy as well.
Cons: Finding the office was a little bit tricky as all other car rentals are on ground floor and hence kept looking downstairs initially.

Cons: They have made an old scratch look as though it has happened in the last few days when it takes 3 to 4 months for a scratch to rust. I have spoken to Galaysha at your offices and more will follow.

Pros: Surprice was awful - no one in office when we arrived, then agent disappeared for 30 minutes after assisting first guest. Return agent treated us terribly - demanded we pay 318 euros while in the dark parking lot for a scratch we didn’t chase; refused to even go to the office to settle.
Pros: Very clean car. Although the button on the handbrake was missing, making it difficult to depress the handbrake.
Cons: When I went to pick up the car, first of all there were no agents. I went to look for them around the airport and then they finally turned up half an hour later. The scratches on the car were not that big, if they were on my car, I could have fixed them myself. But Surprice classed them as dents and charged an outrageous amount to get them repaired. But I'm very glad with the service that Discover gave me in reimbursing the full amount, (minus currency exchange rate).

Cons: Absolutely rubbish, the car had done about 155000 KMs and the condition of the car was absolutely pathetic. To add to my woes the staff was very unfriendly. I would recommend to stay away from Sur Price
Cons: No open on arrival. Did not answer the phone when not attending the office.
Cons: Besides the fact that i had paid for insurance with you I had to pay again for insurance to the company since they would block an amount of 3000 from my visa account if i did not. This cost me an extra fee that i was not aware before. It is better to give all this information to the customer in front so we know the total cost and what are the covers for the different insurance packages.

Cons: Nice people BUT I would think very hard before hiring from SurPrice again because of the drop-off. I have hired a LOT of cars in Malta in the last 20 years and this was the worst drop off by a long way. Having to wait for an agent to come down and sign the car back in only ever works IF you have enough DEDICATED return agents available. SurPrice don't have this. Some people had to wait over 45 minutes to return their car; we waited 30 minutes. Too stressful when you have a flight to catch.

Cons: The rental agent was not at the office for 15 minutes when I arrived. When she came, she informed me that there was a hidden 40 euro fee for early return. This should be included in the rate when you book, if you specify that you want to return a car at 0500. When returning the car, I could not find a gas station on the way to the airport, so I returned the car on 7/8 of a tank. The rental agent told me there was a 48 euro service fee plus the cost of fuel.

Cons: The car we rented had a problem with the engine. Within a few days of use the engine started smoking and the ac cut off. Surprice was very responsive and came to where we were and exchanged the car. Our next car was fine.

Cons: On picking up, I had to inspect the car that had scratches all over the car with poor light. It took a long time and I missed a couple of scratches on the wheel covers. When dropping the car I was presented with the bill of the wheel covers.
