Cons: The company is actually called KML and it is a scam firm making everything possible to squeeze money from clients. Rude desk agent at the airport, astronomical deposit of 2000€ required, car in bad condition, AC not working even after servicing, unsure even about the safety of the vehicle, tyres low pressure, etc. They have a scam fuel policy of half tank pre-paid, return empty. Little detail, they charge you 3 times the local fuel price for this. Avoid this rental provider.

Cons: There was no car available for us on pickup time and we were not informed about this at all. Only after we paid and went to pick up the car we found out that there was no car available. The staff was unwilling to help us resolve the issue and things only escalated when i myself demanded where and how can i move things forward. The initial response of the staff was "just wait 1.5 hours" and they refused to cancel our reservation and refund our money.

Pros: Not very clear on behalf of the rental conditions. Car was dirty inside with a lot of sand on the floor on the doors and inside of the glove box. And overall dusty.

Cons: The representative in Malta charged us an of hour fee AFTER I left the building. I was never told there was this fee and I find very unfair because the plane landed as 20h and it’s normal for me to take some time to get of the plane e collect the luggage. Therefore I shouldn’t have been charged this fee. Especially without telling me and charged it on my card without my consent! Terrible customer service.

Cons: The formula of the fuel was half-to-empty, but the agent invited to pay 48€, which is 36liters by 1.3€ per litre price for gasoline in malta. The Hunday Picanto car has a 35 litre tank, so I should to pay 17x1.3=22€ which is less then a half I paid! So the company have stolen 26€ from me as I used only half of a tank of the car but paid for a full tank. Moreover among all the car the company had for the same rental cost I have chosen exactly Suzuki Alto model but was provided with a Hundai.

This is not a good idea for customers and is an obvious way of taking more money. They did not offer me an option to return with the same fuel in or full to full.

The car was an automatic, which was not what we'd booked. This was presented as an obvious positive and we'd be stupid to insist on manual. We wished we had insisted the whole trip as the car's gearbox was appalling. It felt genuinely unsafe pulling out at junctions due to how sluggish it was. Overall very expensive for a very poor car.

He also charged us for extra coverage although we had already paid the full coverage via Discover Cars. He ripped us off by charging us 48 EUR for half tank when the fuel price would normally be around 15 EUR. The car he gave us was in a bad condition. He met all our complaints/requests with cynicism and rudeness.

Cons: I had lot of issues when I tried to pick up my rental. Unfortunately, I had limit on my credit card (max 1.333 eur) and I needed to leave deposit of 1600 eur. Rental car provider did not have any understanding neither he had any flexibility to combine required deposit from credit card and from my other card or via cash. I spent 1 hour , as I tried to sort it out. Unfortunately, after 1 hour I gave up and I had to pay additionally 120 eur for insurance in order to pick up my car.

I was also made to pay a €40 charge that I was not made aware of prior to picking up car.

The size of the deposit is not known where it came from in the amount of 2800 euros (!) instead of 1300 euros. I was forced to agree on 2500 euro. The proposed option instead of the 2800 euros deposit is 28 euros additionally per rental day and a deposit of 300-400 euros. Disgusting!

Pros: This was a really unpleasant rental on the financial aspect as it felt like a scam.

Cons: Half a tank of gas charged in advance (at pickup) at an expensive price (48€), no negociation. The need for a CREDIT card (vs a debit card) was not communicated anywhere, and this led us to pay an extra insurance which more than doubled the price of the rental. This was of course said AFTER we paid the rental, before they requested for the deposit part, leaving no choice but loosing the rental money or paying for the extra insurance. All this while my debit card already provides all insurances.
