Pros: Quick car drop off

Cons: We waited for almost an hour in line at the window to sign the documents, even though we had checked in online. There were only 5 people in line. The service ladies were constantly serving someone out of line. It took an incredibly long time. The child seat was not installed in the car, we had to install it ourselves.

Pros: Fast car rental return, very good bargain

Cons: Too long process when picking up the car (long queue and many administrative actions before I could pick up the car)

Cons: Brakes were noisy, also no water in the windshield tank

Cons: Car had an annoying rattling sound and had to be returned for a rplacement. Service tested the car and agreed about the rattling sound, but wanted to fix it instead of providing a replacement. had to tell them that I was not there to waste time and demanded a replacement. Finding return garage at FCO (Rome airport) was confusing. Poor signage.

Cons: Car was old, no Apple Car Play so hard to use ‘maps’ from a phone.

Cons: Important informations were not provided. For instance: what type of fuel. The car was significantly damaged, but no damage information was provided in the counter. We fotographed everything and had no problems when delivering the car. All the damages were previously known (according to the damage report I received later per E-mail), so we also did not have to pay for any previous damage. Still...it would be nice to have this information in paper when we were checking for damages

Cons: The time we spent in the line in Bari airport.

Cons: The left side indictor lights were not working all the time, possibly due to an electrical error. So, the mechanics should be more diligent checking lights.

Cons: The car was hibrid, but don't think it was working property. I had one before from Noleggiare, which I drove for 390km and I didn't need to fill it up. No petrol used. However the car gave to me by Sycily I've spent 45euros in petrolto drive same distance, same places.

Pros: We picked the car in Bari which overall was great. Also, we didn't own a credit card so we had to pay an extra charge - we did not expect that.

Cons: Dropping off the car in Roma was painful because we could not find the address we had been given. Once we found it they sent us to another address.

Cons: The rental company doesn't offer professionality during vehicle check out and check in. They gave me a car with more damages than the ones listed in the check out report and didn't want to listen my reports. Cleary a cleaver way to charge extra costs to customers

Pros: Nothing.The cars are all scratched and even banged. The first car overheated. We brought it back to change it, they didn't have a similar car. They put oil and water and sent us on our way. Cars overheated again, took it to Brindisisi airport location, got a smaller, banged up, dirty car. No price adjustment. Rude staff. A nightmare experience.

Pros: Easy process, quick and reliable. However, the car was very damaged (scratches, tires, outside condition) compared to what was signaled when signing the contract. Discover Cars was very fast in responding and assured they would follow up if needed. So far (2 weeks later), I haven't had an issue. The person at drop off was super efficient and I didn't experience any issue other than that.

Cons: They did not inform correctly about the cards type what they accept so they debitted us with a quite high amount compared to the rental fee. The extra day was also so high compared to the total rental fee. I will not offer to anyone this rental company!

Cons: They charged a security deposit of 650 Euro to my credit card three times and did not remove it until 5-6 days after returning the car in perfect condition--I believe that if "Discover Cars" hadn't been the agency through which I booked the car, I might never have received the 650 Euro back. I called every "Sicily by Car" service number and nvere recieved a human response. I emailed "Sicily by Car" several times and never recieved a responce. Consequently I do not trust "Sicily by Car" agency.

Sicily car told me that in case of any damage, the car is covered by their insurance although i booked the car full coverage by your web site. In this case, i have to pay them firstly, then i must present all the proofs to your company for a refund. That is a bit time consuming and risky. Therefore, i would recommend you to offer an option full coverage for the insurance company of sicily car. It is just an advise. Thanks

Cons: The agent told me that there was no marks or scrapes on the car, but upon picking up the car there was a number of marks and scrapes - when I bought the car back to the car park, there was no attendant in the car park. I walked to the terminal to give the keys back (which was fine) but the agent asked me to sign the section which says "didn't wait for the car park attendant" (or similar) which I queried and said I wasn't happy to sign. I had to walk back to the car park (not far) to sort!

Cons: I booked a rental online that didn’t require us to have a credit card as we don’t have one. We got to the desk and they said we had to pay £30 per day extra. This took our car rental to well over £400 instead of £200. The policy should have stipulated that we needed a credit card.

You spend 500euros on rental, then 100 euros on insurances and if you dont have a credit card, which you find out you dont, cause you are a regular European citizen, you pay 35euros extra per day! just to insure them some more about your responsability. So overall, I liked driving around in Fiat 500, but I would say Sicily by car is a bunch of thieves.

So to rent the car it was $90 then with all the additional insurance you have to get its $200 more. When you book it online they dont tell you that you have to get the additional $22 a day insurance for the car. would have been helpful to know because I wouldnt have used this car rental if I knew that.
