Pros: Remise des clés aucune explication, même pas le tour du véhicule surprenant quand j’ai reçu le contrat signé sur l’état du véhicule, copie ma signature a été faite et coller !

Cons: Nous avons pris une assurance tout risque avec discover car mais arrivée sur place Glodcar nous a dit qu’elle ne couvrait pas tous les risques comme le vandalisme, vol du véhicule … et nous a dit si on voulait être tranquille il fallait rajouter 133€!!! Nous avons payé, bref . Je déconseille !!!!

Pros: The car

Cons: The fact that we had a problem with the car and wanted to talk to a representative and there was no reply from the bari office. When we called thw number given it was only a machine replting with automated messages and no choice to speak to a representative. Awful experience.

Pros: Quick, easy and a short walk from the terminal. Check in was easy and drop off took minutes. The car was already damaged badly but, clean inside and drove well. No issues on drop off, good company!

Cons: We specifically booked a Fiat 500 for this trip (acknowledging the ‘or similar’ fine print). Upon arrival, we were given a Lancia and the couple in front of us who had also booked a Fiat 500 received a Peugeot. So don’t fall for the scam of picking a Fiat 500. There was not one Fiat 500 in the parking lot, so this is just a ploy to get you to pay more. The car was dirty upon pick up and had a car seat in the back. The condition report also missed a huge number of bumps and scrapes.

Pros: Excellent car. And very good service at pick up and return. Very busy at pick up and we had to wait for a bit, but the staff was polite and helpful.

Pros: I was provided with a new, clean car, and most importantly, the staff at the Bari branch were very efficient and knowledgeable. Congratulations!

Cons: In other circumstances, when renting a car, the agent accompanied us to the car and we checked it together. In this case, we were just given the car keys and left to our own.

Cons: Massive queue waiting time to pick up the car was over 1 hour if not longer with everyone queuing at the door waiting to pick up the car

Pros: Nothing. They are a shambolic and criminal outfit.

Cons: Their cars were filthy and badly damaged. They pushed us to buy insurance, stating that DiscoverCars' contract provided inadequate cover. They claimed exorbitant damages for a tiny, almost certainly pre-existing windscreen chip. They became threatening and grabbed my daughter's shoulders when challenged about their behaviour. They changed their claimed costs and the reasons for them numerous times in subsequent correspondence, which they only engaged in when DiscoverCars got involved. Scammers.

Pros: Friendly helpfull boys by the cars.

Cons: The girl at the desk was not kind and pushy to take an full insurance, but we had already this from discovercars. The kept trying and trying.

Cons: The service on arrival was slow, the car seats were too big for the car apart from one, which was dirty and the buckle was broken. We were not at the car hire centre for 45 minutes, we managed to find another car seat and fitted it, but there was no help from the rental staff, they just wanted to sell us a bigger car for an extra £85. The was also not the same size as what we had booked. We had now been at the rental centre for nearly an hour, so I took some quick pictures of the car and left.

Pros: The employees were very polite and helpful. Everything was perfect and we will use Goldcar services again.

Cons: Goldcar refused to give me the car because I didn't have a national ID, I had my passport because two weeks before my wallet was lost, according to Goldcar my passport was not a valid ID, it would have been only for foreign tourist. They refused to give me my booked car and I had to go to an other provider spending 300 euros more than expected. They were looking for the slightest excuse to cancel my booking, all the other car rentals had no issues whatsoever when I presented my passport

Pros: Car was fully featured. Fairly quick. Check-in good and very quick drop off.

Cons: The baby car seat was terrible. They initially gave us a car seat that required a base but fail to give us the base so would not fit. Then the only alternative that they had was very flimsy and insecure so our baby was very uncomfortable and cried every time we put her in it. We were also anxious to make many journeys in the car due to the safety of the seat but we had no choice as that is all Goldcar had.

Cons: The seats however had stains from sweat....this is not making a good impression even if you are renting a car in South of Italy where naturally is quite hot.

Pros: Dear Sir/Madam, l am writing this email to inform you that on the 12/9/23 till 15/09/23, I rented a Fiat 500 car for our stay in Bari, Italy. The contract number is 23950440 and it was rented on my name Anteo Camilleri. Now on the 13/09/23, I had 2 tyre punctures whilst I was driving as the road had a lot of bumps. I tried to call for assistance but they did not answer me (+39 0645209634 & +39 0266165371).

Cons: Therefore, I wanted to get the 2 punctures fixed straight away since it was getting late. So, I went to a shop near me called 'Morea Pneumatic' to fix the punctures and it cost me €190. Today 15/09/2023, I took the car back to the Goldcar offices near Bari Airport and the worker Franco from Goldcar told me that now, I can get the €190 refund back because I was fully insured with you. I would greatly appreciate if you could reply back to me in order to resolve this issue. Thanks and Regards,

Cons: Mosquitos in the car. Breaks alert that they are failing kept popping up. Was not made clear that I needed to top up with adBlue

Cons: The initial staff member we spoke to said we could have the car even though we were slightly early (around 30 minutes) however once we had declined the additional insurance his attitude changed and we were made to wait outside in 30 degree heat until the scheduled pick up time.

Then they did not return to us 100 euros blocked ať our card (for the case that we will not refill the petrol tank, what we did!). Some 18 days after check-out! they send us a photo of some little crumbs on the seat telling us, that we have to pay some 114 euros for cleaning the car! We will never go to southern Italy again. We never met any such unfair business practice even in developing countries in Africa Asia, Mesoamerica

Cons: You should remove Goldcar from your services. They are the worst rental company I have ever encountered. This is what they said in the insurance sales pitch (8x cost of rental): without excess waiver insurance: we will charge you 600 euro per scratch, 92% of customers need to pay, if there is an accident that is your fault you have unlimited liability.

Cons: terrible client service picking the car. pushing to buy insurance, credit card was not accepted (it said credit card on the card, but was treated as debit by your system)
