Filorent at Bari Airport

Cons: The USB charging port DIDN’T WORK, WHICH CAUSED PROBLEMS AS WE WERE TRAVELING WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY TO CHARGE OUR PHONES! BEWARE…! They will find anything they can to charge your insurance!!! Photograph every inch of your rental before you drive away! Quite a scam!

Pros: Good car.

Cons: Slow collection service by single but helpful person needed more assistance to handle multiple customers. Poor initial directions to pick up point.

Pros: On arrival at their office there was a huge queue. A waiting for 10 mins, we came to know customers in front of the queue had been waiting 2+hrs!!!

Cons: It seems Filorent had zero cars available. We decided to take action by cancelling our booking with Filorent.

Pros: if, and big if you follow all small text instructions, which are not clear, nor is the english from the agents, you can get through ok.

Cons: if you miss interpret any of the small text it becomes very unfriendly process in which the rental agency starts charging additional fees which are insane.

Pros: The service was not that good.. We got a wrong child seat and they wouldn’t install it for you…. We had to wait a looooong time before getting our car.

Cons: Although advertised as full to full, the car came with half a tank. This is a con, ait is impossie to tell how much is needed to replace petrol to the same level, so one always has to put in more to avoid fines.

Cons: Over 2 ⎌hours to pick vehicle up We’re not going to honour the rate provided and deposit made on Have not returned damaged deposit on normal vehicle wear.

Pros: Fast and friendly service. I recommend. We rented a seven-seater Dacia Jogger because there were 6 of us and we traveled everywhere together. The car was new and comfortable. We took out insurance directly at the Filorent office and had no problems returning the car.

Cons: Problem was that I ordered full-to full fuel policy. They give me car with 6/8 filled tank. When I brought car to rental company it was impossible to fill tank 6/8. At petrol station the tank was 5/8. I filled 10 litres but nothing changed. Then I fill additional 4 litres and the tank was full. I think company cheating on fuel policy.

Pros: Value for money. Insurance from Discovercars and Filorent insurance not needed.

Cons: Located outside airport. Money are frozen on credit card for 2 weeks if you do not purchase insurance ftom Filorent.

Pros: Friendly staff, smooth process.

Cons: Was a bit nervous checking out as agent saw scratch marks on rear bumper. He asked if I had taken pictures, which fortunately I always take video of cars at pick up and I also purchased extra insurance, if I hasn't done both I most likely would have been held responsible for damage that was already there. I've been to Puglia too many times to count and it's a common scam some of these guys pull to get extra $, so take many pictures and video.

Pros: Filorent was wonderful to deal with! They gave us a nice upgrade on vehicle and efficient service when picking up and dropping off in Bari!

Pros: Filorent is located just outside the airport. 5 min drive by the shuttle. Upon arrival and departure we didn't have to wait long for the shuttle. The waiting time to pick up car was short and the whole process took not more than 15 min. The car was completely new and clean. I had an emergency and had to leave for couple of days the car at the parking to pick it up later, they helped to arrange it.

Cons: The only problem I had upon arrival and when I needed to ask a question about my rental, and i was calling the phone number indicated in the rental voucher, nobody has ever picked up the phone. Later when I was dropping of the car for couple of days they have provides me with another WhatsApp number that worked.

Pros: Very friendly team. Marina, the lady who was servicing us during the car pick up, was lovely and gave us some good recommendations on places to visit. Last but not least, we are happy for the free upgrade.

Pros: The lady at Bari Airport was so helpful at pick up and drop off. She helped us fit the car seats, and our bags as we have two young children. We cannot thank her enough, she is a credit to Filorent.

Cons: We had some trouble at pick up when the payment system went down but this was a technical fault and only caused 20 Mins delay

Pros: They had cars to cater for 7 people and the car was good clean and didn’t wasn’t fuel at all

Cons: They close at midnight, we unfortunately had a delay &called them the minute we found out, they refused to remain open which was fair enough. We spent 350€ on taxis to go and come back from our accommodation to pick up the car the following day. It wasn’t our fault we were delayed (and we paid a late hour pickup fee). But we decided that it also wasn’t their fault. On our way back to the airport in the shuttle bus we heard the driver telling people they would wait for them in Italian.

Am fotografiat zgatrieturile superficiale pe care le-am vazut pe caroserie fara sa ne uitam si la jenti. Am observat mici pete care pareau de noroi. La intoarcere ni s-a imputat o zgarietura pe janta stanga fata. Una similara era si pe dreapta fata, dar aceasta era " cunoscuta". Daca in momentul inchirierii masinii se cunosteau aceste probleme, de ce nu ne-au fost aduse la cunostinta?

From having to take out another insurance with the car cause we didn’t have a credit card. While we had already payed for insurance threw discover cars.. then I rang on the day of return to see if we can drop the car of at 3pm women behind desk said yes that’s no problem and we left it back at 3pm and she charges us for the extra day disgrace from start to finish

Cons: Poor baby seats (No ISOFIX) and employees that don’t know how to set the seats. I understand that they can’t do it because of taking the responsibility but they simply don’t know how to do it and suggest anything.

Cons: They 'upgraded' us to a much bigger car. We didn't consider it an upgrade especially given that we were warned that a smaller car is more useful especially when we have to find street parking. It also ended up costing us more in terms of gas for the trip.

Pros: although Filorent office is not located at the Bari airport it is very near, transportation to the office was within few minutes, staff is friendly and efficient, I was given an upgrade to booked vehicle, during rental I received an immediate contact when calling them.

Pros: The car was s spotless inside and out. Staff was efficient though a queue when we arrived slowed the process. Dropping off the car was quick and painless.

Cons: The inside of the windscreen had a film (was dirty) on it which made seeing through clearly when the sun was low difficult. Because we were travelling it was difficult to clean on our own.

Cons: a major problem is that they refund the car deductible on the credit card after 30 days and not immediately after delivery.

Pros: I was a bit concerned about office opening times, 8 am it was stated on the website, whereas my flight departure time was 8.45am. Then I learned that I cloud return the car at any time, 24 hrs per day. This info should be placed on the website, helping easy decision making of others.

Cons: - there were 2 people only in front of us and it took more than 1 hour to get a car - car broke after 70 kilometers - new car I had to pick 51 km away - they covered my taxi cost only partially - no A/C in the car in the summer time - they charged me extra for petrol despite they said they will refill the car for me with no extra change - overall they managed to steal around 40 extra EUR from me - not a huge price but I don't like scammers and tourist traps so I DO NOT RECOMMEND the company.

Although it says turn right, at the end of the taxi line and fountain, it was in the beginning of the taxi line and the fountain was very small (a car was parked in front of it) and I couldn’t see it. Maybe a drawing map should be included when booking. Office is located in a garage parking under a building, it was hard to find with GPS address on return. Signs should be improved.

Cons: The fuel deposit was not full when we picked up the car (5 parts of 6) and there was not liquid in the deposit to clean the windshield. The bluetooth didn't work, we don't know it was not included in the contract... A little bit difficult to find the proper garage to left the car.

Cons: - The hidden fee of €180 on pickup of the car. - The snarky behaviour of the person who checked us in. His other colleague was very nice, but this guy seemd like he enjoyed that we were having to pay more than expected, and took his time on his phone. Very poor.

Pros: Fast and easy picking. They’re not next to the airport but offer a service of picking and dropping at the airport. You can also reach it from Bari Train Station with public bus n°16.

Cons: Generally speaking the car rentals in Bari became too expensive. For the purpose of our holiday (Gargano) I think our car wasn’t the most indicate because of too many kilometres done in its life (about 81000) also nobody told us the car often gives tyres pressure alarm.

Pros: They were friendly and the pick up from the airport was quick. We waited a little to collect the car as there were a couple in front of us and only one person dealing with customers but it wasn't a long delay. We had full insurance coverage through Discover Cars and there was no pushing to buy additional insurance which has happened with some other rental companies in the past. Dropping off was quick and easy.

Cons: Nothing really. The car was a little bit battered with a missing petrol cap but it worked fine and was all we needed. I think I'd have been more worried driving a car in pristine condition anyway.

Cons: it took long to get from the shuttle to the picking up desk. Picking up the car took also longer, because the agent had to pick up the phone all the time to explain people where to wait for the shuttel. My advice would be to put a sign on the waiting point and tell the people already with the booking information where to wait.

Cons: Since no one was there for the drop of we could not get a formal agreement that everything was fine and after 5 days they tried to scam us with an additional enquiry for 350 euro's for 'additional damage' which was already there.

Pros: The service was efficient enough, including the shuttle bus. What I really like is my Group A car, it's roomy and fuel efficient, for a reasonable price.

Cons: It's the first time we used Filorent so had to work out how / where to get the shuttle but it wasn't difficult, so I don't really have anything negative to say about the service.

Pros: The car quality was fine, however we collected from a dark garage where it was impossible to check over the car properly. On returning the car there was a very tiny yellow line (like a highlighter pen stroke) no more than 6cm long which the agent struggled to even photograph, which we were charged 200 euros for ‘work’ to remove. We contested the damage on return but they refused to let us leave until we’d ‘signed to agree return’ and with a flight to catch we were trapped.

Cons: Poor service, completely unacceptable and borderline theft of our money. Would not recommend a company with such malpractice. They are an embarrassment and should never be recommended by the Discover Car platform.
