RentalPlus at Bari Airport

Pros: Really poor collection experience. Was kept waiting for over 2 hours before collecting car.

Cons: Very inefficient collection process, kept waiting far too long, told no car available until exact time of collection, sat waiting basically.

Pros: Disorganised, haotic, difficult to reach the parking. NEVER AGAIN!! ÎS THIS ITALY or we just were not Lucky???

Cons: We DID NOT like that the parking was very far, verycrowdw and haotic. We got a huge car, even if we had booked a small one. Unacceptable!!!

Cons: Too bad it’s so far to walk to pick up the car.

Pros: Easy to find in the airport, fast times for pick-up and drop off and the car was as good as new.

Cons: They try to convince you that their insurance is better, although 6 times more expensive than the insurance from DiscoverCars.

Cons: We were not advised that the rental office was not at the airport at Brindisi. As a result, we wasted about 40 minutes going from the airport, to the offsite car rental office, to go back to the airport. Fortunately, we were not tight on time.

Cons: The fact that I had paid for the car 4 months in advance in full and through no fault ,due to a 2 hour flight delay and 1and a half hours standing in the queue. I was told that my car had been given away as I was over 1 hour late and I had to pay 170 euros extra for another car.

Pros: After reading a few bad reviews, I was a little hesitant but they were the only option for what we needed for our specific journey. Car was brand new. Reps were top notch and super helpful. 10/10

Pros: Very easy to find the desk and complete paperwork. The car was in excellent condition and I had no issues with it throughout the rental. I opted for third party hire insurance which they respected and the deposit was reasonable.

Cons: The car is parked a 10+ minute walk from the terminal so be prepared. When I checked the Ts&Cs I noticed it said credit card should be embossed which it was however none of my other cards are so may have had some problems if that was enforced. Would describe collection/pick up and chaotic. They moved the car then left it blocking the one way system round the corner. Cars were piling up and we had to quickly find and move the car. Hard when keeping a baby happy.

Pros: Second time using Rental Plus in Italy and both times everything went smoothly: no pushing for insurance, just paid my deposit with my credit card and that’s it. Also second time the car is bigger than booked !

Cons: Beware of Unjust Charges - Disappointing Experience with RentalPlus My recent experience with RentalPlus during a vacation in Puglia, Italy, was nothing short of disappointing. Initially, the attractive pricing of 137€ for 5 days seemed like a great deal, but it turned into a nightmare when I was unfairly charged 200€ for a small scratch on the wheel alloy that I did not cause.

Pros: Drop off was so quick and easy and the agent was amazing.

Cons: The pick up was a nightmare. We originally booked a Toyota CH SUV. They tried to give us a ford focus. We spent ages arguing as they wanted more money for a suv.

Pros: Nothing They were not helpful, did not care about service and never tried to understand what was happening.

At the rental desk, Ilenia initially refused to check my booking and then declined my reservation due to a name discrepancy between my driving license and passport, despite my marriage certificate and consistent address on all documents. She was rude and inflexible, even acknowledging my prior hassle-free bookings and indicating she knew I would complain. Fortunately, Rossella at the car park quickly resolved the issue and issued the car

Cons: Even though we had a reservation we had to wait in line for more than an hour and a half to fill out papers and get our car. We had to drive down to Reggio di Calabria (around 5hours) which ruined our plans for the day. When we returned the car, there was nobody to receive it and so we were told by the rent a car next door to park the car and leave the keys in agency where we did paper work at the airport. We had to take fotos and videos of the car just in case because nobody was there to check.

Cons: Pick-up took too long. They offered 4 baby seat and 3 of 4 was broken, and the 4th was dirty. They want more money then on the voucher. Its took too long to get back my deposit. The back window wiper missed from the brand new car. I never received the contract from RentalPlus.

Cons: The flight had a delay of almost 2h and RenalPlus said that they can keep the car booked for only 1h after the selected pick-up time, pretty weird since the car was paid for in advance. They told me that they have another car for me "an upgrade" for which I had to pay extra, 30% of the initial booking price... this was quite a bad customer experience.

Cons: A lot. I didn't like their representative on site that day, that she didn't care about helping me, just cancelled my reservation because I had the debit card on me. I was also offered an alternative rental service which was basically a big scam, as they were trying to make me pay insurance two times and also leave a deposit. It took a lot of time for the situation to clear up and get an alternate car. Initially they also wanted to downgrade me to a smaller car.

Cons: I rented two cars from RentalPlus, one through DiscoverCars and one directly from their website, the latter including insurance. Upon return, I was told both cars had pre-existing damages not included in the initial contract. For the insured car, the damage was charged to my insurance despite photo evidence. For the uninsured car, I was charged 280 euros for a minor scratch. I suspect this company repeatedly charges for the same damages and exploits insurance. I do not recommend RentalPlus.

Cons: They charged my insurance for a damage that was made before, I show them pictures made at pickup and told them that his colleagues told me at the pickup that it’s ok, no worries, everything is in contract. At check-out they charged me the insurance and told me that was other damages in the contract, not that one. Avoid this company. They are not fair and make money from deposits and repair they cars on clients insurace.

Cons: I been called 11 am When i had my car booked I told to agent we are going to be late 6 hours 17:00 pm im talking about what is still in normal working hours. The lady on the phone straight said okey so your booking been cancelled now. I didn’t really have a chance to say anything because i was in rush on the airport. Soon as we arrived she said yeah it been cancelled so the car is not available anymore. My question is how is it possible ?? I paid for 4 days around 100€ what i lost fully.

Damages are charged immediately and should be corrected likewise. Car MUST BE IMMACULATE.

Cons: Advertised an Audi, but instead got an Opel. Called to discuss and your staff had zero interest in understanding the issue with this. All they wanted to tell us was to read the terms and conditions and that as long as it's a similar engine and 5 doors, that it's fine. There is a huge difference between Audi and Opel. Furthermore, the staff at the desk said they don't even have Audi cars. So why is it being advertised? The car was given to us dirty, and the drivers seat wasn't adjustable.

The agent that the full cover insurance we got online is by a third party and in case of any issue, accident or scratch etc we need to pay to RentalPlus and then we get our money back from the third party after 3 months. With their approach, we were quite scared that renting a car can be so tricky and even a scratch can cost a lot and we lose our money etc.

Cons: A Rental Plus employee tried to cheat us when returning the car. He said the car had a broken key lock. We did not use the key to open the car. We unlocked the car with the remote. I do not recommend Rental Plus. Please be careful and check the car carefully before renting

The only two drawbacks were that 1) the dropoff carpark isn't well signed and had to go around twice to find it. 2) Apple carplay for some strange reason was blocked ON the car that I rented thus I had to rely on the nav app that was installed in the car. TomTom which lacks the facilites that Google maps provides making navigation to a specific point rather difficult.

Pros: It was easy to find rental desk on airport. The madam was friendly. Then we had to find vehicles ourselves. Rhey were also a bit confuse when we return the cars... But we didn't have any problems with the vehicles. The car was clean and newer.

Cons: Unfortunately it's not exactly "on airport ". It's about a 15 minutes walk along paths and across roads. Being elderly and having a 20kg suitcase to pull it wasn't great. Had we known it was going to be a long walk we would have taken a luggage trolley, which is what we did on the return. It was heavy rain on the return so raincoats required, suitcase got wet! Otherwise we were very happy with the service, quality of car and excellent value.
