Automania at Bari Airport

Cons: I had ordered a vw golf, but I received some kind of Chinese scumbag. the vehicle had about 22,000 miles on it, but everything was creaking and there were short belts in the back. because I needed to fasten the child's car seat...it was not possible. I was also forced to pay for insurance that I did not want. however, I needed a car. In any case, I have to admit that the car was enough. but I'd rather look for another rental company next time and recommend it to others.

Pros: Friendly and fast service with a smile. You feel at ease.

Cons: I was forced to buy additional insurance. I can't stand it when I get cheated with insurance. Also I was booked Volkswagen Golf but received something chinese. A dishonest company. I will tell everyone I know and leave comments on the Internet where I can avoid using your services.

Pros: New car, fast checks, easy pick up and drop off.

Cons: The staff insists on selling additional insurance even when we have bought full coverage. She gives worrying examples of huge costs if car breaks down or damaged if we don't buy their insurance.

Pros: To be honest I can't comment due to the initial hiccup with delayed flight and my booking being cancelled. Fortunately Automania were able to offer us a replacement. At a cost to me obviously. So having booked through discovery cars and paid a deposit, plus insurance cover. I then had to pay another £368. Not the start you need to your holiday.

Pros: A really fast and friendly return of the car and transfer to airport.

Cons: Most importantly - Automania claimed the All Risks Insurance we bought does not fully cover all risks. They insisted we may pay adfitionally up to EUR2600 if not accept their 'full cover offer'. The agent was pushing a lot to accept it. We declined, but the other clients were scary enough to take it. The second thing was the car - we paid some more to get VW Golf (or equivalent), but we got a poor chinese something named DR 3.0 - a class nowhere near VW Golf. In overall, I will never use them.

Pros: They were very friendly and responsive, answering my questions and providing all the extra fees they chat for everything

Cons: They don’t have a decent pickup spot at the airport, lots of misinformation and their working hours are terrible.

Cons: The frond desk officer stressed us a lot about what we might pay if something happens to the car - encouraging us to buy their full insurance. Finally we were stressed all the time something not to happen to the car which was really not nice

Pros: The pick-up/drop off was relatively painless and they did collect us from and drop us back to the airport which was appreciated.

Cons: I felty we were being mislead about the condition of the car. It wasn't brand new, it had 48,000km on it and there were multiple marks plus the defective wing mirror. Also, no water in the windscreen washer reservoir which is a very basic requirement.

Cons: Extremely hard sell on insurance that was more expensive than rental.

Cons: Long time waiting at the airport for shuttle to the office. Insurance offers which seems not very serious to me.

Cons: Car was the worst I have ever hired. damage everywhere. No confidence with returning car as I expected to be showed damage that I didn't cause. I pointed out damage to the agent before I collected the car and this was not recorded. I had to show a video to the agent for him to believe I did not cause this damage

Cons: Don't rent here, even if it's the cheapest! The worst service ever. they tried to sell me an insurance by lying to me, The minute I refuse to buy their insurance, the desk managers started treating me as shit. When I returned the car, they found a scratch that they say it wasn't there before, but it was impossible to prove so because the pictures they sent didn't include that part of the car. The price they charged for the damage was the same price they charged for the insurance... coincidence?

Pros: Nice quick and easy although not so easy to find pick up at air port if you don't know the area, although staff very friendly and able to help over the phone.

Cons: Honestly nothing really of any negative opinion although it wasn't the car we reserved.

Pros: Awful experience, I have contacted discover cars support service as now I no longer want to continue with a future booking with discover cars after our terrible experience with automania

Cons: Staff were aggressive to us, calling us names in Italian when we asked could the car be moved to a lighted area to inspect it. Car was not clean when we got, on returning the car they charged us a €15 cleaning fee and again staff were aggressive apart from one lovely gentleman.

Cons: The car was received extremely scratched up. Upon returning the car, I was told there was a “new” scratch on the side view mirror. We showed them the video we had taken when we received the car and explicitly showed them this “new” scratch. I was told they didn’t see this scratch on our videos and pictures and that it had to be new. Don’t book this company! They will try to nickel and dime you at every turn!
