Italy Car Rent at Bari Airport

Pros: Fast registeration

Cons: The car has damages

Pros: Nothing. The lady in Bari either hated her job or was bored. Tried upselling insurance despite me saying I was covered.

Cons: Everything! The car was filthy, inside and out. The seats were stained and when I complained he said it was salt from the sea!! Every panel had damage and I had to point out damage that wasn’t reported. The car pick up was slow, with the lady upselling insurance and car size based on a fear of damage costing money. I told her three times I had my own insurance. Had to walk nearly a km to collect the car from a team that just could give a damn. Generally horrible experience.

Pros: Nice car but that's it<no windscreen washer fluid,car blocked in and general crap attitude of staffe

Cons: took more than 30 mins to dig the car out as was blocked by another hire company,not a full tank as on paperwork so had to get them to change that.On return was accused of damage to the wheel about 20mm for which they want to charge 315 euros and they wont respond to my mail.Sorry but they are trying it on and will NEVER use Italy Car Rent again.Avoid like the plague.Everyone in the office returning their cars was being accused of damage.It must be what they do to get more money

Cons: During the drop off, they claim 245 euro for a scratch on the aluminum wheel, I find it ridiculous I even cannot confirm that the scratch existed before, because I didn’t took detailed pictures for each wheel to compare, I took pictures on the car itself, which did d not reveal that damage… pic resolution was not enough… Also the car was recovered with multiple damages 4 recognized by the owner, and other small ones, which I needed to document myself.

Cons: I got already scratched car since rental company knew I had Super Kasko. Of course Protocol that car is OK is signed on different place where you actually get car and you do not want to waste time by returning to airport desk from parkung place.

Cons: Very rude staff. I didn’t take insurance and they charged me for damaged locker which I didn’t even use because there was pilot. Most basic equipped car you can imagine.. Definitely not recommend.

Cons: I would not recommend Italy Car rent. On arrival they were very pushy for us to use their insurance, we already had insurance from another company. On return of the car we were charged hundreds of pounds for tiny (<1cm) scratches from general wear/tear. Most of which were on the car prior to collection but so small we didn’t mention them to the company. We were advised on return that if we’d used their insurance, this wouldn’t have been an issue… Won’t be using this company again.

Pros: NEVER RENT A CAR WITH DISCOVERCARS , they dont have a phone number directly to talk with a costumer service , I got a car they said they sent me a confirmation number to my email I never recieved the email and I could communicate with them i entered to the app and It didnt appear anything .... the last day of my trip they sent me an email to make a review and that day I sent them an email answering and they told me a lot of things but domt want to give me my money back

Cons: Car could have been better cleaned inside

Pros: Return was smooth and perfectly managed by the lady at the return desk of ItalyCarRent Bari Airport.

Cons: Pick up was complicated and with lots of useless discussions, because of the boy at the pick up desk of ItalyCarRent at Bari Airport. There's a difference between a Compact Car and an Intermediate SUV, if he can't understand that or pretending not to, he should be put not in touch with genuine customers. He didn't do properly his job and now it's up to me to try to get a refund for the difference paid for nothing. Because of this guy playing games with cars ItalyCarRent will never see me again!

Cons: They charged me $300 for damage I didn’t do. The cars are in horrible shape. The paper with damage marked had many marks but I guess they missed one. Nonetheless I know where the car was parked and the damage, which I could not see, was done done while I had the car. I had 3 de e t rentals but now I have to dispute the charge.

Pros: Able to change return date over the phone as well as after hours drop off.

Cons: Heavy charge for one day extention. Charged for a scratch on the wheel which does not appear on my drop off photos and despite paying for 'full cover' insurance. Pick up and drop off a long walk from the terminal. Did not receive the car we expected.

Pros: The drop off was very easy, but no one explains you about anything.

Cons: The agents wher polite, you have to ask to receive any information about the renatl. They are not explaining anything about the car or where to pic it up, the pick up point was about a mile away and it took to much time to find the car. Overall the car was very clean and full with gas. We didn’t have any issues.

Cons: If Italy by Car are considered partners of DiscoverCars, why do they not recognize the insurances issued by you or why do you still recommend them? The fuel level was lower than the one in the documents

Cons: The Italy Car Rent dropping off parking location in Bari IT is not along the rest of the companies and it's very difficult to find it. It's practically hidden and not a single big enough sign placed on the street to find it and not even light to see the tiny signs with the "Italy Car Rent" logo that confuses with the "Sicily by Car" logo. I missed my train to Naples for trying for halve an hour to find the dropping off parking area.

Cons: My car reservation was cancelled without notifying me! The lady at the office was unapologetic about it, said it is what it is. When I called discover cars and asked them why did this happen they said well we don’t know. Offered me to book a car from a different company which was TWICE the price! I hen I asked for some díscount and support they said they can’t do anything. It was absolutely horrible experience

Then we told them it didn't work, and he called my husband in with a child in his hands to choose another seat. My husband took the seat out because the man did not help him, even though the child was in my husband's hand.

No windscreen wiper water, driver door wasn’t closing properly, I had it repaired. - provided diesel vehicle. Adbue was empty, cost me 35Euro to refill.

Cons: We were told the car was in pristine conditions but when we checked it, there were a few minor scratches, which meant we had to go back to the desk to have a representative notice them and add them on the picking up note.

Pros: Please Google “Italy Car Rent” and read all the 1 star reviews, then go somewhere else. Standard fair for these lowlifes. Prey on unsuspecting consumers. Have them sign blank documents regarding the condition of the car WITHOUT having the benefit of seeing the car. Then, when you return the car, they add damage and have you sign similar blank forms acknowledging the damage. You do t even get a print out of what you signed until 15-20 minutes afterwards where you get an email after you have left.

Cons: Just for a tiny and nearly invisible scratch on the rim, they tried to create a lot of problems. They wanted to charge a lot of money on my credit card. I ended up with a verbal fight to stop it. Never "Italy Car Rent" again!

Cons: The queue to pick up the car was long, with some people taking a long time at the service counter. I queued for over 45 mins and took less than 5 mins to complete the paperwork to pick the car up. Car was very dirty on the exterior of the car making damages difficult to see.

Cons: I didnt have a credit card, so I had to buy another insurance at the desk. It feels like a scam, because very little people in Europe have a credit card. The same thing happened to two guys who were picking up the car before me. Another thing is I didnt get the car I payed for.

The local representative used the formal reason to refuse in the service - the card was “debit” and they require “credit”. Formally this is correct but all the tens of times I’ve used another providers - there was no problem with debit card. Will never use italycarrent again.

Pros: New cars, good price using discovercars platform, nice agent when picking the car up. I had no problem using the car protection paid on the platform - the agent explained the difference between their insurance and my protection paid option and he was ok with my choice.

Cons: 1. The car interior could have been better cleaned. 2. The agent that was taking care of the dropping of the car tried to blame me for one big dent - but luckily, I had photos from the pickup showing the dent was there (keep in mind to spend 2 minutes for a full video or pictures of the car at pick-up). 3. Considering the amount of dents/scratches on the car and mentioned in the pickup documents - the company could repair the visual problem more often.

Cons: The dropoff place in Bari is kind of far to the airport, 10 min walk. The "full protection secure" was not included in the price of discoverycars page. We pay about 20 euros extra per day, but definitely worth it, no preocupations during the trip and the check out was super quick (they only check that the tank is full)

Cons: Rip off company, there was the smallest amount of damage on the front lip that was there when we picked the car up and they charged us €380. I’d post a photo but there is no option to. Avoid this company at all costs.

Cons: First of all, the car rental station is not at the airport, but actually about 15-20 minutes walk from the airport. Second, while the rental is relatively cheap, they slap you with artificial fees at the end of rental. I was charged 220 EUR for a very tiny scratch, and the agent looked like she had to walk around the car 5 times before she found anything that could charge me. Their behavior was really weird during returning of the car, and I was told I should have purchased the full insurance.

Cons: They gave me a a car that was 7/8 full with gas. When I filled it up, drove the 3 miles to the airport it went from full to 7/8. I assumed that’s just how the car worked. They charged me 22€ for filling the tank. And asked me if I had a time stamped photo to prove it wasn’t full at pickup.
