Cons: Situazione spiacevole al rientro. L’addetto al controllo ci comunica che avrebbe dovuto addebitarci 50€ al per la pulizia dell’auto. Incredulo alle mie rimostranze (due bottigliette d’acqua e i tappetini da sbattere) gli comunico che nessuno al ritiro mi aveva specificato di dover riportare l’auto perfettamente pulita. Fortunatamente in anticipo riprendo le chiavi e vado ad aspirare l’auto. Dopo qualche minuto ritorno e viene fatta la chiusura del contratto senza alcun problema. Peccato

Pros: The car was brand new. When we returned the car, the agent was very helpful. We were given a ride to the nearby train station.

Cons: The check in agent was very unfriendly and unhelpful. They charged the late fee and also charged €20 so that we could return the car without first washing it. Additionally, we were pressured to buy additional insurance. When we told them we had purchased full coverage from Discover.cars, the agent seemed to imply that they knew nothing about that and probably would not honor it.

Pros: I have received a very new, spotless car with everything working as it should. The agent spoke great English which made the pick up process a lot easier than in other companies in Italy (I have rented in a few already). The return process was even quicker, with assessment done immediately and respective closure of the rental contract. The headquarter of the company is based out of Bari airport and hence they provide a free shuttle service from the airport - it makes the pick up a little longer.

Pros: The bumper of the car of the Acarent company was damaged and was rented out unrepaired. The representative of the company marked the damaged areas, but when we returned the car, we had to prove again that it was not our fault. We were making a video. I recommend taking photos of the places where there is damage. Then you can prove that it was not you who did it.

Pros: The manager Guiseppe was very kind when we arrived at took the time to answer all our questions and inspect the car with us. Only a short time afterwards we received the contract and invoices in the mail and also on paper. We had some scratches but the pricing was reasonable! Friendly procedure of drop-off.

Cons: Alll good. Just get an English version of the contract as well.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1000.00 - € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 69.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Economy, Compact, Standard, Intermediate, Fullsize a driver license issued at least 2 years ago is required.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher. A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied. Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04 in the following regions: South Tyrol.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 120 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 120 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
