Pros: The person on the desk was helpful and friendly

Cons: Evan though the desk is in the terminal more signage is required to help people find it. Also snow chains were not offered and the snow socks that were provided where not sufficient.

Pros: The car was what we expected, it worked out well. It was clean

Cons: They didn´t explain to us about the tolls, if the car had Telepass or not, and about the Pedemontana Lombarda that you have to pay on the web. Neither they explained how to prevent having fines because of the ZTL Zones. Finally they gave us a wrong drop-off address , which made us lose 2 hours going around a very traffic-full zone.

Called discover car, explained situation, passed phone to rental service, they spoke but in the end I still paid more l, cause they had no car in the booking class I paid for. Pros: TERRIBLE! Their location was not at the airport, which was indicated on the rental agreement in tiny print that no one would have seen it. Had to find some who spoke English to reach them. Had to meet them at a random site to be taken to their lot a few miles away from the airport. While there the agent told us that the car we reserved, BMW 5 series or equivalent was not available, even though they had several, then they blamed DiscoverCar for renting BMW at that price & gave us station wagon

Cons: Terrible service, didn’t get the car we rented and they blamed DiscoveCar for bate and switch. Car was old, dirty and smells like smoke. We felt trapped and used. Absolutely terrible. Also, gave us no information on crossing into other countries, or how to gas us or operate the vehicle and navigation system, the return was even worse, the list never ends.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00 - € 1800.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 15.11. until 15.04.) Snow chains are included in price.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
