Noleggiare at Venice Airport

Pros: Nothing. They tried to scam me on both pickup and dropoff with extra charges.

Cons: The staff were very unhelpful and dismissive. They tried to screw us over at every opportunity. They tried to get me to agree to extra charges at pickup without explaining that they weren't in the agreement and tried to charge me for damage I didn't make at dropoff. Do not use this service.

Cons: Delayed check in for 1.5 hours in queue, drop off took 30 minutes, despite no other damage, agent claimed 1mm microscopic stone chip as a damage and company charged 180 euro for that, did not provided any invoice. I strongly believe this 1mm chip falls under "Fair Wear and Tear" (normal road rash) and that the amount charged is fraudulent and completely disproportionate.

Pros: Agent at pickup was very helpful. Found a car that fit our needs. Walked me down to show me the options. Did not run into any insurance issues and they didn’t push their insurance products. Great experience at dropoff as well (although the counter at Torino airport was extremely hard to find and we almost missed our flight looking for it - not their fault though). Not charged any miscellaneous fees at drop off.

Cons: The car reserved was supposed to be a mini-SUV class but it ended up being much smaller. We needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle just to be able to fit our bags in the trunk. That was an unexpected 30% additional cost for the upgrade. Also, I emailed in a question during our trip and received a not helpful response.

Cons: Chaotic, understaffed, not able to cope with more than one rental agreement every 15 minutes ... Then they try to create / inflate charges at drop off- on reading Trust Pilot reviews I realised that I was far from the only one this happened to.

Though we recevied an email inform us where to drop off the car, we could not find the address provided on Google map. I tried to call the tel. no provided, but no one answer the phone. So, we had to go to its office in Milan where we were give a QR code which provide exact location of the drop off point. It will be much easier if the QR code was provided in the email.

Pros: We used DiscoverCars in Italy which ended up being Noleggiare at Venice airport. Definitely best deal and Noleggiare were very good. Very easy pickup and return and quick to release deposit. Great and reliable vehicle. Our experience was very good definitely recommend.

Cons: My flight was delayed meaning I arrived at the kiosk at 11:10pm. Despite having my flight details and me emailing them, they refused to wait meaning I had to hire from another company at great expense. All other agents at the airport waited for their respective passengers on the same flight.

Pros: The car was not real clean when we picked it up. There was tape residue on the inside of the windshield so we had to buy adhesive remover and paper towels and glass cleaner to clean it all up.

While there the agent told us that the car we reserved, BMW 5 series or equivalent was not available, even though they had several, then they blamed DiscoverCar for renting BMW at that price & gave us station wagon
