Pros: Agent was helpful, friendly and efficient
Cons: Our pick up time was 11am but we had to wait 1.5hrs to speak with an agent due to the fact that there were only 2 agents on duty!!!! Unlike other rental companies there, Europcar had at least a dozen or more irate travelers who had been waiting in line for a very long time! Eventually another agent came to assist and after about 30 minutes a 4th arrived but he did not offer to help anyone!!! After probably another 30min he began helping. It was very chaotic.

Pros: The process to get the car once the queue cleared was actually rather quick.
Cons: That the operative did not clearly explain about the need for a vignette in Slovenia. This resulted in me receiving a 150 Euro fine!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.

By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
