Cons: I'm still surprised that I found the tiny little sign that said, "Optimo" on the desk of AutoVia Cars. Better branding, a dual sign would help.
Cons: We got a car with both Metan and gasoline. Metan was very difficult to find. You could help with an list of Metan-tanks.
Pros: Very quick service. No problem at all. Returned car after closing hours and just dropped the key into the box. Deposit was released on next day. Everything was very easy without any headache.

Cons: It was very hard to find the counter, it was poorly indicated. The check in process was very slow, The car did not have 8/8 of fuel as started on the contract. The car had more damages/scratches than indicated on the contract.

Cons: We were given the wrong car, the tank was not full as we had booked. The car was old and scratched around the bumpers etc. It was really really hard to get to the rental desks though I am sure this is because of the covid arrangement for the airport rather than the rental companies fault, still an email advising of the best way to get to the desks would have been handy and saved time.
Pros: Cheaper than other companies located at the airport.
Cons: Typical lack of professionalism, in which they ask you in a supposedly friendly manner about your destination and then start telling you about all the 1.000 things that can happen to the car in that area that would cost you 10.000 euros to repair unless you hire their expensive insurance. Plus, they claim that since they're a low cost agency, they HAVE TO CHARGE YOU A 12 EURO cleaning fee unless you bring back the car washed. They claimed the fuel deposit was full and was actually in reserve
Cons: 477 euro for 2.1 inch scratch (which as I picked up car after long delay at rental desk was in the dark). As the car only went from airport to holiday accommodation., not even sure it was my fault. Long delays, natural gas car, so no filling stations with 90 kms. Poor.
Pros: the representative, Francesco, was very helpful and friendly. a hassle free car rental experience.
Pros: Overall good experience. Gave us a larger car than we rented.
Cons: There were no snow tires left to rent, however snow chains were fine.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 75 years.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): Italy, EU.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher. Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted. For the Luxury, Premium car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
A damage administration fee of 150 EUR will apply in the event of an accident or damage to the car.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
