Our Venice Airport office is located in the new Rent a car area, on the third level of "Multipiano Parking 1". Leaving the terminal, you will find directions and a pedestrian footpath, covered by a shelter, that will lead you in front of the parking garage. There you will find other signs showing two lifts, short distance from each other. The trail is about 300 meters. Going to the third floor, you will reach the new Rent a car area. Roberta Ballarin and her staff are ready to welcome you and provide you with the best service.

Cons: The car was smaller and simpler than the one I booked. When I returned the car, the agent was nervous and unfriendly. I couldn't get a single document from this company. They didn't give me a contract or an invoice. They said they'd email it, but nothing came of it. They offered to download it from the website, but that was also empty.

Pros: I was given a brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan with only 30 km on the odometer, so I believe I was the first customer to drive it. Both pick-up and drop-off were excellent and took less than 5 minutes. One of the best services I’ve ever received from a car rental company. Highly recommended.

Cons: All we wanted was to exchange driver's name to another one. That's it. The agent said it was impossible. Her only solution was to give up the reservation (NO REFUND OF COURSE), and to book another car, slightly bigger (Ford Focus), for an unbelievable price of more than 1,100 Euros for 6 days. How come the car we reserved wasn't available?? Wasn't it reserved for us?? All we wanted was to replace the driver's name! It felt like someone wanted to use the situation to get excess profits.

Cons: The process for picking up the car took a long time - 10-15 minutes per rental - and only one agent was available. I was surprised that we had to fill out here-copy paperwork after already providing information when renting online. It seems like a faster process could be found.

Pros: Quite quick to check in. If you use Locauto always check if the vehicle has GPS. A bit if a scam as they charge you for one.

Cons: Locauto told my wife and I the vehicle we had hired had no GPS so we had to pay 4 euros per day for a TomTom (this was not up to date). The vehicle already had a GPS built in and on returning the vehicle Locauto would not refund my 4 euros per day for the portable TomTom GPS. WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM!

Cons: A bit of a walk to get to the rental building and counter, but the walk is inside an enclosed bridge and there are moving sidewalks to assist those with luggage.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Accident Administration fee, Vehicle Overdue Admin Fee, Winterization fee.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 1–27 days, mileage is unlimited.
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 117 km per day.
Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): China will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.


In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, address of the insurer, photocard driving license.
A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy

The deposit amount is 0.01 EUR.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, European Union.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 15.11. until 15.04.) Snow chains are included in price.


Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.

By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number, train number.
A maximum of 59 minutes is available for service outside of business hours.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
