Pros: Even if the car was damaged (rear bumper falling out) it worked really well and we had no issues with it for the two weeks rental period.
Cons: When checking out the agent told us that the interior of the car was too dirty and she would charge us a damage fee. Essentially there was a little bit of sand/dirt on the back seats from camping and bread crumbs in the front from eating a croissant. We argued that it was not and she let us vaccum the car with the facility vaccum. After that it was all good and waived the damage fee ... Very dissapointed with Alamo on this. We felt that the agent acted that way because we were tourists.

Pros: I really liked the excellent car, which was clean and in great condition. The staff was also very friendly and professional, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant.
Cons: If I had to pick something, it would be that the parking lot at Venice Airport was a bit complicated—figuring out how to exit, where to return the car, handling the parking ticket, and the pickup/drop-off location on the third floor could have been clearer.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 117 km per day.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
