Skoda Octavia STW
10/8/26

Pros: Kindness,efficiency and helpfulness.
United States of America (USA)
Peugeot 2008
9/20/26

Pros: It was a pretty quick pickup process, and the lines were a lot shorter than other rental agencies at the airport. I would go with Alamo just for that alone.

Cons: They gave me a stick-shift (standard), instead of an automatic that I had reserved. The car had a huge dent in right rear side, which they noted on the pickup form. They did NOT send me the contract via email as they said they would, and during drop-off, they tried to blame scratches on the right rear hubcap on ME, even though it was clearly done when the dent occurred. Luckily, a supervisor intervened and waived me from responsibility. They gave me a final form to sign, but hard to read.

Peugeot 2008
8/9/26

Pros: Gave me choice of 3 different autos i could choose
Canada
Volkswagen Taigo
7/28/25

Pros: Even if the car was damaged (rear bumper falling out) it worked really well and we had no issues with it for the two weeks rental period.

Cons: When checking out the agent told us that the interior of the car was too dirty and she would charge us a damage fee. Essentially there was a little bit of sand/dirt on the back seats from camping and bread crumbs in the front from eating a croissant. We argued that it was not and she let us vaccum the car with the facility vaccum. After that it was all good and waived the damage fee ... Very dissapointed with Alamo on this. We felt that the agent acted that way because we were tourists.

Cons: It was a surprise to us to find the rental cal not in a very clean state, as we often expect with rental cars in US.

Spain
Peugeot 308
2/8/25

Pros: I really liked the excellent car, which was clean and in great condition. The staff was also very friendly and professional, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant.

Cons: If I had to pick something, it would be that the parking lot at Venice Airport was a bit complicated—figuring out how to exit, where to return the car, handling the parking ticket, and the pickup/drop-off location on the third floor could have been clearer.
