Pick-up instructions
The Lava car rental airport shuttle bus will meet you outside the departure hall.
When exiting customs and entering the arrivals hall turn left, stay inside the airport, and walk for 2min to the departure hall. Exit the airport and that is where our shuttle will pick you up. More detailed information and video instructions can be found on our website www.lavacarrental.is
If we are not there please give us a call at +354-519-4141 and we will be there in a few minutes.
Drop-off instructions
You will bring the car back to our office at Flugvellir 23, 230 Reykjanesbaer and we will provide a shuttle service back to the airport.

Pros: It was very easy to pick up the car. I was given a couple directions/advice and then handed the key to go get the car myself.
Cons: Short-staffed on return so a little backup with staff checking cars being returned.

Pros: Fast-Pick up and Drop Off.
Cons: They missed marking a dent on my car, when i saw it i told them before i left their building but they said to just take pictures and we could deal with it later. I would have preferred having it marked down, but as promised, i took pictures and when they asked about the dent i showed it to them and no issues. Also not a remark on the service, but i had to pay a $40 processing fee for a $20 toll. I would have preferred to pay the toll myself but Lava didn't give me the option and paid for me.

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
