Pros: They were fast, friendly, and easy to work with
Cons: See above... he kept mentioning insurance which made me dount the coverage I had. I actually purchased partial insurance through Alamo out of fear. Upon returning home, I re-read your coverage, and I think I was fine the whole time. My only suggestion is to have a closer relationship with the Alamo rep so that everything is clear.

Pros: It was easy to find, but that is the bare minimum I guess. I was allowed to pick up the car 30-45 minutes before the actual check-in time due to my flight landing early.
Cons: 1. The pick-up agent was very terse and gave no information about how many paid parking attractions there would be. This is a recent Icelandic development, and as a return traveler, I was caught off guard. The agent just said, "Here's the car. Green color for fuel." 2. The speedometer glitched BIG TIME. We had to call roadside assistance to troubleshoot because the digital speedometer glitched at the same speed, even though we accelerated and decelerated. It just stopped working.

Pros: Overall it was fine. We had a large Renault Trafic van for my family’s six plus luggage. It didn’t feel like a great value—but nothing does in Iceland.
Cons: The van had mechanical trouble and we had to wait on the side of a rural highway for Alamo to bring us a replacement vehicle. Pick up was very slow. Lots of people and only a few agents working.
