Cons: - It’s not at the airport itself. - Office staff was uninterested. Took a while to be helped after check in at the tablets. - Then it felt they were in a hurry assisting us. - It would have been nice if the staff had told us about the tunnel fee in stead of only on a paper at the desk. - The back door of our car wouldn’t stay open, witch is very unhandy with the luggage. - Windshield wiper was in bad shape.

Cons: I had called for a pick up from the airport and was traveling with two children and when they came the driver stated the van wasn’t big enough for us and the other family that was waiting to be picked up and that he would be back in 15 minutes. After waiting an hour- no one came to pick us up my kids were exhausted and one started ti feel I’ll- I called the number again and after several dropped calls someone answered and said it would be another 30 minutes to get picked up. Cons: A really old car in Iceland with 250000 kilometers on it. Had many problems. They force you to buy all kinds of insurance.

Cons: provide me old car with almost 300K kilometers. Tire were old and got sign to change break pads after driving 100 kms. Also tire pressure sign didn't go despite filling correct air pressure. There was a chip on windshield. Rusting noted on car outside and also inside.

Pros: We had a breakdown, but it was fixed within 3-4 hours. After a lot of stress and difficult prosedure to get help.
Pros: Everything seemed pretty straightforward. We did not have any issues on the road with the car, or on dropoff, so that was a very pleasant experience.
Cons: The pick up in Keflavik in the middle of the night can be a bit delayed, despite the extra charge for after hours service. Since there is only a phone contact in the beginning, it can be worrisome when no one is there at the airport. But all was well in the end.

Cons: Most inefficient pickup and check in process of any rental car agency I have ever used. Well over 2 1/2 hours from when I had my bags and was ready for pickup until I got my car. Did not have the necessary staffing to handle the demand and checkin was very cumbersome.

Pros: The company representative waited with a sign at the exit of the airport without unnecessary waiting and took us to the offices to sign and receive the car. Short times with smiling and nice representatives who gave maximum service and information. Cons: I ordered an SUV that would be able to handle driving on difficult off-road roads in Iceland and I received a Dacia vehicle that stood up well in the test. I even got to Askia by passing through rivers, but the odometer at the time of receiving the vehicle was over 250,000 km, which worried me, and after the first vehicle I received had an oil leak and the odometer It stood at over 220,000 km which was discovered after the first night when I had not yet left for the trip. Cons: terribly inefficient service and a wait of 3 hours before being able to get the car. Very poor quality car
Cons: The service representatives were not very friendly, there was a huge dent in the car that was giving me the rent which I've never experienced before with any rental car company. When I asked about it I was pretty much brushed off and said you get what you pay for.

Cons: The tires on the car were very worn and in rainy conditions and in gravel roads, which was often during our stay, made us feel nervous about traction and safety.

Pros: They offered free coffee in their lobby.
Cons: The office was not possible to find on Google. If you flight arrives late and you can't get to the office before 6pm good luck, you will not get a car. They offer a number you can call but Iceland doesn't have any pay-phones and my phone was not set up to make international calls while abroad. Overall the experience was extremely stressful and when the represenative did show up he was rude.

Pros: Great explanation and help by pick up. You pull a number and wait in line so you know what to expect. Transport drivers to and from airport are super helpful and friendly.
Cons: Air pressure in tires went low as soon as I got about 30 miles down the road. Desk attendant at drop off was a bit hard to understand, but we worked it out. They should explain a bit more about how to pump gas as the system is a bit confusing. It's not entirely clear how to fill up the tank instead of choosing an amount.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. They made renting a car easy.
Cons: Finding the shuttle driver at the airport was a bit unclear. Be sure that the directions for meet up reflect looking for the Wheego on a sign with several other companies listed.

Cons: The roadside assistance is very expensive and the number you call they want $80 just to find a company to help you. So I didn't pay the $80 and used google to find myself a provider.
Pros: Staff were very patient with us; we managed to not bring a physical card for the main driver and they allowed us to swap the main driver and second driver (as they did have a physical card with them).
Cons: The car was a bit battered, but it served us well and didn't let us down.

Pros: The service I received when picking the car up was food to be fair. Continue here from bad experience… Chap was pretty rude tbh zoning in on one small stone chip on windshield. There were so many dents how he could go out there and find this in the dark and wet I will never know. Eventually he decided it was there all along. Certainly not damage we had done and I hadn’t even noticed this the windshield even already had damage that woudnt pass a MOT in England.

It seems it was through wee go instead with insurance through discover cars, so wee go try to and sale insurance . Actually picked the car up from fair car , Nordic car rental. I was expecting near the airport but it was a 3/4 km journey via van. Car had many dents so take lots of photos . We found more damage on the 1st day so photographed this as a record. Cons: The car provider is City Car Rental (not Wheego, as indicated on the key chain) and they are not easy to find on google maps. Pick up/drop off very far from airport. Car did not have full tank and while they told me to return the same amount, there is no way I can estimate that correctly when topping up, so I put in more petrol than I had to when returning the car.

Pros: The rental service as a whole was designed to ease the life of potential renters.
Cons: I anticipated the car to have USB Charge ports and GPS, but it did not which made keep the mobiles charged during the entire drive through Iceland a bit difficult.
Pros: Not much, car drove fine with some troubles in senzors, wipers and brakes (probably worn brake pads resulted in squeeking). Car was clean. Drop-off was quick (not the transfer though).
Cons: Transfer from and to the airport was horrible, crazy speedy ride and we waited for both for over an hour (and been charged extra €50 for it!). They didn't wanted to accept my card (used it for entire trip seemlessly) and been charged €300 for insurance on site. Car had broken tire pressure senzor, worn wipers (more of a spreaders) and brake pads resulting in squeeking and not a pleasant drive in rain). Bad experience with this.

Cons: We did not like WheeGo at all or DiscoverCars who put us there.

Cons: The car give to us was very old and the body of the car had many damages, so many that we were scare they would blame us for some of those. The customer service was probably the worst part of this experience. They were unhelpful and demeaning.
Pros: The car was fully fuelled and performed as expected. The drop-off experience was not bad.
Cons: We were not met at the airport. Inefficient and shambolic service when we eventually found the agent. Communication was extremely poor throughout. The picking up of the car took around 3 hours all in. Half of our travelling party had to wait in the airport for the first 3 hours of their holiday. The car had several areas of damage, including multiple chips and cracks in the windscreen. We were not given an introduction to the car at all, just handed the keys. Very poor experience overall.
